If you've had #Starbucks Banana Nut Bread for your 3 o'clock snack break at work, you're going to love this copycat recipe so you can snack on it any time! I love this recipe and I hope you guys do too! Subscribe to my channel as well if you haven't already ☺️❤️
Hey hun, I made this today and it’s so delicious. I don’t think Starbucks can match this. It is the best banana bread I’ve ever had. It’s so moist and I put the quick oats on it just like yours. I doubled the recipe and I got two loaf pan and 12 muffins from the batter. It is the bomb. My family love it. Thanks for sharing ❤️
@@genevekisson8639 oh man I'm so happy you made it and it turned out so good! It really is better than Starbucks in my opinion too lol. That's a lot of banana bread you made! Your kind words mean a lot to me and it means the world that you and others have tried this recipe. Thank you for commenting and letting me know how it was. ❤️❤️❤️
@sherry Price yes!!! I love that one too. I'll make it soon 😊
If you would've left the recipe down in the bottom I would've tried the cake but you didn't
@@violaramirez7722 the recipe is in the video, with ingredients and amounts.
I have made dozens of Banana Nut Loaves so I do know a little thing about making them and about baking. One suggestion I would like to make when adding flour to liquid is to “Fold” it in gently. Don’t use an electric mixer. This will result in a less dense loaf. Flour can be a bit of a Diva in this instance. Also, lightly toast your walnuts a bit, doing so releases a marvelous flavor that will enhance your loaf tremendously. Ten minutes of your time will yield results that will make you famous for your Banana Bread. 💕🐥💕
The banana nut bread at Starbucks is dense though
P.A, will try your tip of toasting the walnuts. Thanks
I added chocolate chips in as well and hubby’s mouth is drooling. The walnuts we get here in packets from wholesale clubs is crunchy enough and didn’t feel the need to toast it at all. I store them in my fridge.
😊❤
@@AJ-oz7fx The toasting is not about increasing crunchyness, but about heating / burning them just enough to get a process called hydrolysis, or caramelization, going: For the wallnuts you sprinkle on top, this happens in the oven automatically, but the ones that are on the inside will get cooked and there will be not much caramelization happening for these, so toasting them beforehand may help improve flavour
Looks great! A baking tip: Don’t forget to roast your walnuts @ 350 F for 8-10 mins. It will take your banana nut bread to another level. Once you try it, you’ll always roast your nuts. Ahhh so good! 😋
Thanks for the tip!
Just a thought, wouldn’t the walnut be already roasting while the bread is in the oven?
@@YWChyi82 Yes but pre-roasting the nuts and seed in general extract the oil and the flavors is not for cooking those ingredients but to extract their oils.
@@kendakf5752 I see. Good info. Thanks for the reply.
I just made this without pre toasting the walnuts and they were roasted and crispy when I took it out. I think with such a long bake time it would burn them to pre toast them.
I decided to try another banana bread recipe from the one I usually make and this is absolutely amazing. It came out so moist and super delicious. My husband LOVED it. I had 6 ripened bananas laying around so I tripled the measurements. Added vanilla extract to the wet ingredients, and nutmeg and cinnamon to the dry ingredients. I roasted my walnuts and also sprinkled some brown sugar (a little) on top with the walnuts which cristalized and this added some cruchiness and sweetness to the top of the loaves. The taste was so bomb. I love that this wasn't too sweet as well. Even with the extra brown sugar on top, it was just perfect. Thank you! I'm never going back to my old recipe ever, ever..
Wow I love your modified version! Sounds really rustic and better than mine lol. Appreciate you trying the recipe Myressa. Beautiful name btw. ♥️
Made this today with a few changes (I substituted a small portion of the granulated sugar for brown sugar, added some vanilla essence and used desiccated coconut instead of oats) and it turned out amazing! I served it with a generous drizzle of melted nutella and it was divine 😋😋😋
Omg that does sound divine! I want a piece of that version too 😂 😋
I was actually thinking vanilla while watching the video, so great to know it works well.
How much tsp or tbsp of vanilla essense you used? And how much cups of shredded coconuts?
sounds good except for the coconut and the chocolate bits, but I was thinking cinnamon.
will try this too
I just finished baking this banana bread and now sitting on the couch enjoy 2 pieces of it. I’d say it’s the best recipe i ever made. Thank you!
Sounds like a nice evening rewarding yourself with this banana bread ☺️ thank you for trying the recipe out. I have other cake recipes you should try as well if you liked this one ❤️
I just baked it in a bundt pan. Substituted the walnuts for pistachios and topped with quick oats as well. My family loves it. Will have it for breaking of fast later today. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Pistachios sound good on this too! I'm going to try that trick. Thank you for trying the recipe! It means a lot 🙂
I made this a few months ago and it was hit. Came back to refresh my memory because I need to make it again 😋
I love how detailed but to the point this recipe was .
Made my first batch of your banana bread recipe and it came out perfect. I even gave samplers to my friends and they said it’s the best bread I’ve ever shared. Thank you soo much for the great recipe. I’m looking for your other videos NOW!!! 😁
Aawwww thank you. That means so much to me. I have so many recipes you can check out on my channel here. ❤️
Its true what that lady said in her comment..aĺways fold in dry ingriedients in your wet ingriedients..makes b.loaf or cake light and not tight or chewy.. brown sugar the best..Half teaspoon cinamon and half teaspoon ginger..always roast your nuts whatever you use..Thanks so much for your recipe..
OMGGG I just did it!! And it is sooo good!! My first time making it definitely making this again! Thank you for sharing this recipe💗
Thanks for trying it out! 😌😌😌 If you take pics of it share it so I can repost on my instagram @whatscookingwithfariyal
Just took mine out of the oven & cut myself a slice immediately because it looked so good! It was the best banana bread I’ve ever made. Thank you so much for this great recipe! :)
Awww yes it's so hard to resist not eating it straight out of the oven 😊 thanks for trying the recipe ❤️
The bread looked so moist and yummy. And you look gorgeous too!
Thanks for sharing! Will make this soon.
Thank you dear 😊💟
Amazing recipe! It came out beautiful! My family enjoyed every bite. Thank you! I am adding this recipe to my list!
Awesome! Glad you loved it ❤️❤️ try out my Starbucks lemon loaf cake too if you like those types of cakes.
This is the BEST banana bread recipe I’ve ever tried. THANK YOU! ❤️
Thank you dear 😊
I tried this recipe last evening, and it turned out AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this recipe for others to try out. I modified the ingredients to my preferences, i.e. solid unmelted coconut oil instead of butter, brown sugar instead of white sugar, and pecans instead of walnuts, but kept the measurements exactly the same. This was an easy recipe and didn't take much time. I also used a muffin tray, and this recipe makes exactly one tray i.e. 12 muffins. They were so moist and delicious. I am a big fan of the Starbucks Banana Bread but I have to say, this is MUCH BETTER! Thank you very much for sharing this recipe!
Awww thank you for trying! I will use the modification ingredients like you did, just to make it a little healthier 😅 I appreciate you trying this recipe ❤️
@@WhatsCookingWithFariyal very beautiful lady beautiful face sweet lips sweet voice💋💋💋😘👌
This is the best banana bread I've ever made! Thank you soo much ❤️❤️ I also glazed the top with some honey so it's glossy, but it legit tastes like in some fancy cafe
Awww thanks so much. Honey sounds good on top of that bread. I'll try that next time too 🙂
I used this recipe, but made it into muffins instead of a loaf, and added raisins to my batter. PERFECT!!!!
thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I made this a few days ago, and it was such a hit with my family. My mom couldn't stop praising it
😃😃
I made this today and loved it, i added some choc chips on top too. Never going to try any other recipe for banana bread . This came out yummiest.
A few people said they added chocolate chips on top. Next time I make it, I'm gonna do the same. That's such a great idea. Chocolate and bananas go together so well 😋 thanks for trying out my recipe!
looks amazing! wish I could test it through my screen...
Lol I know that feeling. It's fun to make with kids too 😉
I had tried so many banana bread recipes in the past and it never turned out good. But this one was perfect! Soft, moist and extremely delicious! Thank you for this recipe! ❤
I just made mine today. My family absolutely love it.
😌😌
Wow I love Starbucks banana bread! This is a great recipe! I always have ripe bananas 😂 that I sometimes end up throwing away. I’ll definitely make this one next! Lovely video and you look very pretty!
Thank you! Yeah this is a great recipe, its not too sweet either.
I accidentally stumbled upon this recipe, ended up trying it and added my own twist into it by addition of some flax seeds, oats in the batter, and almonds along with walnuts. Topped them up with the same nuts. This recipe is really great. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with us. It is my go to recipe for Banana bread from now on!
Ohhh your version sounds really good, I'd love to try that too. Thanks for sharing those additional ingredients. I'm really glad you stumbled upon my recipe and that you enjoyed it.
Did you grind the dry oats a bit or use the grains. Sounds interesting.
@@banklootful no I didn't grind them. That's how they were out of the bag
Mine came out amazing! Thank you for the recipe!!! ❤
I have made it a lot and my family loved it. Thank you for the receipt
Girl this is the BEST banana bread recipe I've come across! Made 4 batches already lol SO GOOD
Omg that's so sweet. This means so much to me that you tried this recipe and made so many already. I was actually think about making it again the other day as I had walnuts sitting around. Thank you for your support ❤️❤️
Absolutely the best I have tried. I guess room temperature does makes a huge difference. I also added vanilla and a bit of mixed spice
Absolutely fantastic. It's a melt in ur mouth cake. It's moist and gets a slight crunch from the walnuts. I do recommend putting vanilla extract or vanilla powder but over all I definitely recommend it.
Let me try soon. Thank you so much for the recipe
Made this yesterday and it turned out perfect 😍 I tweaked it a little. I added chocolate chips, another 1/3 cup of sugar, vanilla essence and cinnamon. Turned out really nice
I have to try it out with vanilla essence, and chocolate chips. A lot of people made it with that and it turned out great. So glad you like the recipe 😊
Tried this recipe recently for my family. Everyone liked it very much and it came out just like the one in Starbucks. Very yummy!
Thanks for trying!
Thanks SO much for sharing this, cannot wait to make it!
You're welcome doll!
Tried this and result was amazing .
Thanks
This Banana bread is Delicious!! So good!! My family loved it especially my grandma she took one bite and said I need the recipe!! Making a second batch rn
❤️❤️❤️ that's amazing. I'm glad you loved it 🥰
Grandma knows best.they full of wisdom and smarts.dont argue with grandma right.
Make sure you don't overmix the banana bread ❤️ that's a tip I learned. And better to take it out slightly early than to overbake it as well. If there's a tiny bit left on the toothpick. It should be good to take out. Doesn't need to be completely clean. Normally these need at least 45 to 50 min in a loaf pan at whatever temp your recipe calls for
This was great, Looks absolutely delicious, I'll definitely try this
Thanks!
Lovely, soft, heavenly....just baked it. My children & my mother loved it. Thanks for sharing the receipe
You're welcome! Thanks for trying it ❤️
This is my second time following this recipe and it’s been a hit both times! I have diabetic family members so I cut the sugar in half and let the sweetness from the ripe bananas shine and it’s so so good! Super easy and quick! Love
Glad you tried it! The sweetness from the banana depending on how ripe they are helps so much. Thanks for trying it 😌
I added 1\4 cup brown sugar and it came out great! I might even use a bit less next time!
Back for a 2nd time 😁 I made this for my starbucks loving family member and she said, wow this taste like the starbucks banana bread 👍🏽😁
Great recipe! Thanks for sharing. I'm back and making it again for other banana bread loving family members 😁 [it's in the oven now] appreciate you making this video and sharing it with us.
Omg you truly made my day. I appreciate you making this for your family and for your kind words. This means so much ❤️❤️❤️

Yay! So glad your family loved it 💗
I’m so excited to make this, starbucks banana bread is my favorite and this looks ever better!! Has anyone tried with the whole wheat flour?
Thank you! This one is better than the Starbucks one for sure. But comes very close. ❤️
So, it doesn't look like the Starbucks banana nut, there's is darker in color that might be the brown sugar 🤔...but I must say your recipe looks amazing, I really like that you added oatmeal on the top, yummy 😋. I'm on vacation at the moment and can't wait to get home and bake this amazing banana nut bread. Thanks for sharing this recipe. From Southern California ⛱
Awwww! Can't wait for you to try it too. Thanks for the support
The dark colour comes from spices added - a quarter clove powder, half fine cardamom powder and just under half cinnamon powder. All these spices gives an extra edge to the flavour
Looks very good! Thank you for sharing your recipe!
I made this yesterday, Came out really well. Thanks a tonne for the recipe.
