Literally NO person who grew up or found themselves into poverty, not even true "rags to riches" people, will EVER try to tell you that in a greedy, capitalistic society being a poor or downright homeless person is better and happier and healthier than having good money.
You can literally buy better mental health and lifesaving procedures for you and all your loved ones with good money.

She lasted less than a year because she realized that pregnancy centers sole goal is to force women to keep their babies and not provide any support after the age of 2. She witnessed women coming in with children they felt they were forced to keep by the pregnancy center and do not want them, cannot handle being mothers, and are in no position to provide basic needs for their infants. It was a very eye opening experience for her.

@Savannah Jones-Verity This simply isn't true--it's a talking point on the left, but it's a lie. Pro-life pregnancy centers provide many services and basic needs to pregnant women AND women with small children FOR FREE. I just became a mom recently myself, and although I don't need most of the services personally, I was able to experience the lengths both my local hospital and pregnancy center would go to in order to make sure our needs were met. These services may not be available universally, but most pro-lifers would be extremely supportive of making them available in their areas if they aren't already.

The sad truth is that even in cases where local CPS ISN'T hot garbage, the foster system the kid gets thrown into is often worse than what they were in.
Had a coworker whose mom fraudulently called CPS on her daughter because her mom was Hispanic and racist and didn't like my coworkers black boyfriend... I don't even know what the lady said, all I do know is that the infant was taken, and died months later from severe neglect... Starvation and severe hygiene related neglect... The courts finally gave my coworker her other kids back... Afterwards...
In another case elsewhere, someone I knew had their kids taken away because CPS was called on a family. Their kid sustained the injury of a split skull because the foster family didn't allow the foster children into the cab of the truck for any reason, even if their was room, so they had to all ride in the bed of the truck that didn't even have a camper shell, and the tailgate came undone due to a pothole which lead to that kid flying at high speeds out of the back and landing headfirst onto the road. I've seen many more examples like those too.

Watching them talk about taking a nine year old out of school so she can care for a baby is just heartbreaking. A child should not have to take on parental responsibility. It's parentification (when a child is made to take on parental or adult responsibilities and/or provide support for a parent/sibling) and can have long lasting effects on that child.
It's awful how many people don't recognise how important it is that children are able to enjoy childhood, not worry about things they shouldn't have to, and have the best chance at a healthy development!

ok but like,, you can't say "pregnancy can be very dangerous" and then IMMEDIATELY follow it by saying yeah but also we shouldn't prioritize women/pregnant people over a cluster of cells that HAS NO SELF-AWARENESS.
you can't admit that pregnancy is dangerous and then turn around and argue that people who become pregnant against their will (whether that is from trauma or accidental SHOULD NOT MATTER) need to literally DIE because of YOUR personal religious beliefs.
also,, the fucking PRIVILEGE of these people to be like 'if you get pregnant as a TEENAGER you should just drop your whole life plan and become parents" ??? girl,, a lot of people can't do that.
OH, AND- don't say you give a shit about the 'babies' when you are actively encouraging people who DO NOT WANT TO BE PARENTS to take on that role in a child's life. trust me, it is much better for EVERYONE involved, that the fetus is aborted because if it is born into this world, it's likely to be raised neglected and abused because it was not want in the first place.

That’s why religion shouldn’t be involved in politics nor the medical field; like I know I’m Christian but i would be worried if my doctor didn’t give me the correct procedure or medication but instead told me “God will handle it” like wtf they don’t teach that it medical school

if anything, you trust God put someone who will give you proper treatment regardless of their beliefs. do they forget God can put anyone in your life, do they forget Jesus mingling with the gentiles and the outcasts of society? like do they forget they have to also be wise. like if god gives you the opportunities to make the best decision and you choose to be stupid and ignore all of that and say it's in His hands, then God's just gonna look back and say you're dumb

These “pranks” are just straight up emotional abuse. I think CPS should be called on all of these family vloggers, personally
Edit: since this comment gained traction..I felt inclined to point out that parentification (a child taking on the role of a parent) and child exploitation are also grounds to call CPS

Thankyou for addressing this and the impact this can have on kids.

As someone who's adopted, saying that you have to give away your dog because *he poops too much* while holding YOUR INFANT CHILD ON YOUR HANDS WHO ALSO POOPS A LOT is just A-tier disgusting behavior.
