As a woman that sentence gave me some traumatic flash backs.

"Sexually assaulting women is wrong, and thats why I decided to sexually assault women." We dont always need a demonstration, Sam.
"and it's actually your fault for being upset about it." 🤷
Well he is sponsored by Ray Jay after all.
Reminds me of a certain French Netflix film
his pranks are fake & all the liberals triggered in the comments are idiots
Sounds like that show Cuties
"Putting people's lives on the line to show them how precious life is and to live it to the fullest"... 90% sure that's Jigsaw's whole motive in the Saw films
lmao yeah
Lol you're right
His reaction to his best friend being “killed” was just too eerily real, the way his face was all red and just the way he was screaming… I have a hard time believing it was staged
The guy was sitting right next to him on a fucking couch saying it was fake.
I've watched Sam and colby's videos for a long time now and I can definitely say that Sam's (the dude who got pranked) acting is no where near as good to pull that off. That crying was just so heart-wrenchingly real

*These aren't pranksters, they're sociopathic egomaniacas.*

same difference 🤷🏻♀️
I’m stealing the last part
at this point they’re all synonyms
A good rule of thumb is that if a guy makes videos of himself "pranking" attractive women but really all he wants is a kiss, he's probably a huge narcissist.
I developed CPTSD years ago from a similar situation where one of my "friends" faked their own suicide. There is no such thing as a "prank" when you start playing with life or death as an act; it can have lasting psychological effects on even the most strongest of minds.
but you can only develop CPTSD from repeated trauma/abuse over years or so there is no way that that alone caused ur CPTSD /this is not supposed to come of as passive aggressive
@@ash5829 it can happen from one prolonged event
@@shelby6😂m
@@shelby6 it's called PTSD tho. Not CPTSD.
@@ash5829 that event may have been the last in a long string of traumatic situations.
I must say that, having seen the "kidnapped and killed my best friend video" a while ago, it DID NOT felt staged (for Sam, the blond one).
His emotions are as raw as they can be, language and words can lie but body language doesn't ; see how aggitated he is, how red his face is, he is in such a state of pure distress, it's really hard to watch.
When the dude "killed" Colby (his best friend), look at the reflex mouvement of Sam (still the blond one), once the trigger is pressed, his head shoots away to the side to protect himself from both the sight and impact.
.
His reaction after the """"prank"""" tells miles as well. He takes quite a lot of time to calm down, his best friend (not dead) gets up and holds Sam's face to ground him back to reality.
.
Go watch the video, it is still somewhere out here on the site, and you will see how it is NOT acting.
If it was, Sam (blond one) must go acting because thats... way too convincing.
both Sam and Colby have both repeatedly said that Sam, in no way, was in on the joke and it actually out a big rift in their friendship for a while. Sam has stated he was legitimately traumatized by the experience (don't remember if he said anything else related to therapy or PTSD so I'm not going to make those claims) and it really hurt him for a long, long time. Colby regrets ever doing the prank in the first place and has repeatedly apologized to Sam for the experience
I think a "prank" like that is a really strong sign that this individual will eventually become a serial killer, it's only a matter of when. He was clearly living out a fantasy with that, and once the social media attention dries up and he's desperate for narcissistic supply, he's going to get it by doing things like that, except where the victim doesn't survive.
@@somewhatstrange2097 you’ve been watching too many netflix docos bro lol
i think the fact that it took 3 years for sam to finally be comfortable playing along and saying he was in on it just shows that it hurt him. i think they only stated that so that it wouldnt create animosity between them and pepper
@@somewhatstrange2097 lay off the true crime lmao
A "decay" would require that Sam Pepper be a good person in the first place.
Not necessarily, it's more of just getting worst. From bad to badder, you know?
Wow u killed it with that 1...basically kicking j-aubrys head line to this video in the nuts by saying its meaning less nice1
I figured it was a decay of his career not his morals…
Congratulations, you're not braindead.
Timothy Owen No one is born a bad or good person, for better or worse a person's character evolves over time.
You can’t “prank” grope someone, you either grope them or you don’t touch them. What he’s doing is assaulting women on camera
I think you are right.
@Fhh Fjgh gonna take a wild guess and say you’re joking
Damn straight
He really needs to learn that intentions do not beget action and actions have consequences, and ultimately you can't just do fucked up shit and say it's a joke.
It was just a prank bro
I remember being a kid on the internet when this stuff was going down. It feels so surreal hearing someone talking about it all these years later.
It was so confusing being a kid seeing this stuff going down. I didn’t quite understand what was going on, but I knew that it was bad and that lots of people were really upset and angry.
To be fair, people get upset and angry over everything. People love being "outraged" because it makes them feel important.
@@gingersnap9712 wow edgy
@@gingersnap9712 i don’t think it’s about feeling important, I think everyone feels powerless in society, and the one thing we do have is our voice. We can’t control the shitty shit around us, but we can voice our concerns and hope others agree and it can make a difference. A lot of people that weren’t important became important by doing so. So yeah.
@@BakedBrain7100 Problem is everyone is crying and outraged over minor trivial stuff 24/7 like npcs, especially on twitter
When a prank gets a laugh, the prankster calls it great comedy.
When a prank gets anger, the prankster calls it a social experiment.
In the end, maybe the real pranks were the friends we made along the way.

I wonder if all these UA-cam prank channels from 5-10 years ago are the reason so many young adults think that saying that they were "just kidding" or it was "only a joke" is actually a legitimate get-out for utterly reprehensible behaviour. They grew up seeing people they admire doing increasingly horrible things to friends and strangers, hardly ever getting called out and if they did, the consequences were minimal.
nah, the reason this stuff was getting the views was because it was over the top. I am sure there were some people who wanted to do it too, Jack Ass also had people like that, but it both cases, most of the people watching do so because its very outside the norm and shocking.

Somebody give Sam Golbach an Oscar. That reaction was incredible for someone who has never acted.

Shitty content creators always cater towards children because they're too young to know about what they've done in the past, they're less likely to care about it because they don't understand how bad it truly is, and the only demographic that would willingly stomach the type of content they make. See Shane Dawson (He gained his audience when they were kids, they stayed with him for the nostalgia factor, and they only realized how shitty he was when they looked back on their favorite childhood videos), The Paul Brothers, and vine creators who think 2010 humor is still funny

Hi Oompaville!!!!
It’s their fault for putting their money at risk with a guy who seems like a complete 🛎🔚
A buddy of mine builds and dismantles tents for work. They actually get paid very well. But theyre not just regular tents. Its those gigantic event tents.
very crafty having yr script blend right into the ads :) ooOO you YT makers are smart! :P
Interesting how some of the biggest and most successful pranksters (at one point) are legitimately sociopathic, people like Vitaly and Sam just to mention a few
Vitaly was recently arrested for roid/coke raging on a random female jogger
Rémi Gaillard remains goated
RomanAtWood did those weird pranks acouple times but he matured and settled down and is a different person now and I love that
Sam Pepper is one of those guys who I thought became irrelevant years ago, but randomly resurfaces and I don’t really understand why
He's like Soulja boy. No idea if I spelled that right but don't really care. Garbage just finds a way.
@@Skarwind at least soulja boy has contributed to the music industry. sam? not really.
@@yunguboa and the soulja boy console was hilarious
@@yunguboa "Contributed" is giving him way too much credit. He just got popular by putting together already popular dances. Most of his actual music is so bad it's funny lol. And I don't think anyone really remembers anything beyond Crank Dat. I mean, who is out here unironically listening to "Booty Meat"? lol
@@BlackLotusVisualArchive in 2007 a rapper becoming practically a household name solely through the internet is a contribution no matter how bad the song is. he definitely set a blueprint for success within that field, horrid music or not.
also he basically was what started this gen of rap listeners "old-head vs youngin" war which has only really mended slightly in recent time. (this happened in the early 90s, but to a much lesser extent)
I thought I vaguely knew this guy's name, but it didn't occur to me why until I saw Sam and Colby. I was an active follower of Sam and Colby for four years, throughout middle and some of high school they were my favorite UA-camrs. That prank came up so often with them, it was obviously a huge deal. They even sampled the blood-curtling, "YOU'RE EVERYTHING I HAVE" scream in a song. I wouldn't blame Colby, because he was not only about a decade younger than Sam Pepper, but also loves Sam to death, and would never hurt him in that way. I really think Sam Pepper was the mastermind in all this, and made Colby think what they were doing wasn't that bad...I dunno, in my opinion, it was pretty cheesy dialogue, but at the same time Sam looked so distraught so...I dunno-
The intro was OUT OF THIS WORLD good. Good job J
Classifying Scarlxrd as "Drill music" would have to be the biggest oversight I've ever seen jaubrey make.
Agreed
100%
Fr
True
Wtf is drill music
To this day I still don’t actually think Sam (Golbach) was in on the prank, and that he was convinced to go along with it later on.
the face i made when you talked about how he tried to start his reputation over, and then decided to get involved with ice poseidon...... like bruh 😭😭😭😭😭 how do you fuck up that bad AGAIN
Man I ducking love Hank Green. That’s the exact response I would expect from an event planner/someone with his platform. Love the guy
Just started watching this and I can already tell J Aubrey is coming through w/ yet another banger. Love when I get notified he dropped a video.
Can relate dude
You dislike the stuff that gets uploaded by my fingers clicking upload? Are you just a h8er boi? I say see you l8er, boi. Don't watch the stuff that gets uploaded by my fingers clicking upload anymore. Your dislikes are damaging my good good GOOD reputation. I am a superstar, dear bren
Man, J. Your intros are fire.
I'll add this to the list of things I was lucky to dodge in the early 2000s, up there with: making a myspace account
holy shit i remember the rage i felt from sam pepper when he was "popular" when i was in middle school. thanks for a blast from the past dude
