      @@razorgarcia298 Buying Black Belts is just as fucked up as buying College Degrees or stealing Valor! There are too many of these con men/women out there & unfortunately, they don't always all get exposed before significant damage is done! I once watched an exposed investigation about fake Psychologists who purchased their PhD or PsyD from some fake Universities in India. The scary part is that these fakes were practicing Psychologists for years throughout Canada (where the investigation was conducted)! Just imagine paying so much money so that you or your loved one can get the best possible professional mental health care, & instead, you or your loved one gets an uneducated, unqualified charlatan who is feeding complete & utter BS just so that he/she can make money off of you, not caring one bit about whether he/she is actually causing you in some cases severe, life threatening, if not fatal, permanent damage!
      The same goes with these fake Black Belts! I can only imagine someone paying lots of money to have their child learn self-defense from these charlatans, wasting years on BS incorrect knowledge & technique, receiving inadequately earned Belts. Then one day, someone who thought that they earned a real Black Belt from one of these con men/women end up getting in a fight, whether a street fight or in a competition against other REAL BLACK BELTS, & end up getting seriously injured if not permanently disabled or even killed!
      These people deserve NOT ONLY EXPOSING, but also PRISON!

      It's super easy to stop that ankle lock when you cross your feet on the back. They have to be able to arch back and push their hips forward. You push the back of the head forward. While they push back, it opens their neck up for the RNC. I know a grip of dudes that will bait you with that crossed feet bit and then choke you.

Which is a word 90% of people don't know and so anyone who uses it must know what they're on about, right?

      @@oshannel I caught my coach crossing his feet from back control and locked up the ankle lock. I wasn't completely sure I had the technique right but I did have my legs figure foured over his ankle and I could feel that I was applying a truck load of torque. I thought, shit, I couldn't possibly tap a blackbelt could I? Then I thought, he's probably going to let the tendons tear before tapping to a white belt. He didn't tap and eventually peeled my legs off because I had made the mistake of not controlling his hand but I saw him surreptitiously massaging the foot afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised if there was damage. That's what you get for not tapping to surprise white belt attacks!

    In my utmost humble opinion.
    “ Nothing more dangerous than the illusion of self delusion”
    The lack of self insight is appalling, no matter the art one practices, everybody in the world with a shred of decency, knows that one of the few credentials that actually holds merit still, is the BJJ belt system, where the word Kung Fu( means acquired/ earned skill) actually can still be applied. The BJJ black belt represent at least ( 10 years maybe more) of sacrifice, dedication, defeat, injuries, set backs, triumph, honor, dignity , and true applicable martial skill..
    To claim and fake a rank in a system that is actually one of the most pressure tested,( as well as prestigious systems) in the world, is beyond asinine, and good to see him being called out for it.. no shame..
    Sincere regards.
    Fellow martial artist.

    • @odbranasamo
      @odbranasamo 4 роки тому +2

      Tom, you've said it perfectly. Systems such as BJJ/Gracie Jiu-Jitsu are first and foremost self-defense oriented even though the sport of grappling is widespread and important. The proof is in the Vale Tudo, MMA and Gracie Challenge fights. These type of occurrences make sense in parts of the world where the local population is either isolated from Jiu-Jitsu or where there is just a big population. It's easier to hide in big cities. In our part of the world (Helm/Balkan peninsula) there is an great admiration surrounding combat systems and sports, however, the so called "self-defense community" is loaded with fraudulent and untested teachings. This is exactly why we recently started a movement spearheaded by experts in different arts/fields to help the local population with dispelling myths. Here is a fitness instructor showing technique that are not backed by evidence (minus one). ua-cam.com/video/MywjXZODEZU/v-deo.html
      There is a ton more. Channels like McDojoLife inspire us to provide proper education.

    Guys, I also looked into the odd claim that his adopted daughter who they call Dr. Komal Rao (she fought under her original name Komal Sharda) "defeated a man" in Young Blood Night (YBN) 9 in Germany. They are always bragging about this but if you look closer, you will find something odd.
    Here is the link to the supposed fight. It is Komal Sharda VS Nikesh Agarwal in card #9. www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/43603-young-blood-night-vol-9-the-art-of-war . If you click on the link of her opponent Nikesh Agarwal, he came from the SAME TRAINING SCHOOL as Komal Sharda (Rao) which is Unarmed Commando Combat Academy!
    All the Indian fighters in that fight were from Unarmed Commando Combat Academy and they were massacred! The only winner was Komal Sharda as she fought another member of their so-called academy because one of the fighters from another school was not able to make it. Here www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/313792-young-blood-night-vol-9-komal-sharda-vs-nikesh-agarwal]
    In this link, Komal Sharda's opponent Nikesh Agarwal in the fight is listed as one of the instructors under her dad Deepak Rao. yashmody.wordpress.com/2015/06/11/authentic-jkd-instructors-in-india-under-bl-lineage/
    Odd isn't it? Now her best selling line goes along the lines of "The lady who was able to beat a man in an MMA fight". See: www.newindianexpress.com/thesundaystandard/2017/sep/24/komal-rao-woman-who-trounced-male-opponent-in-mixed-martial-arts-1661713.html

    I love how you pointed out the feet wrapped from rear naked is a bad thing. There are quite a few people in MMA who do wrap the feet though, and no one seems to know about half lotus over the feet and letting them try to stretch you out.

    it's absolutely called full guard which differentiates it from half guard, quarter guard, z guard, spider guard, and so on. Standard terminology in bjj gyms across the English speaking world. Open guard and closed guard are general terms used for several types of guards. There are several closed guards, and also several open guards. Hopefully this helps explain it.

    I went to his website and it seems he saw this video. He pointed out that the date on the Bustillo Certificate says effective until not the date it was awarded. I cant tell if he doctored it after but it looks like it says that on the image you show in the video. Just curious as to your thoughts. the half guard and full guard thing had me in stitches

    • @McDojoLife
      @McDojoLife  4 роки тому +2

      He has posted the end date thing on his IG as well. On his IG post you can see it’s a load of crap because he shows 3 photos like he is zooming in. The first photo with his and the instructor has a completely different name than the other certificates. He definitely lied about the bjj blackbelt for lockjaw. Proof shown in the video from the owner.
      After this video he completely revamped his website and seemed to have taken down all things eluding to be a direct black belt under Rickson and changes it to just being apart of the organization, he is apart of the iggf sadly enough.
      He is teaching completely bs in the video. That’s the most important thing to me over all. He clearly has no clue what he is saying. He even tries to say on his website now that he uses “his own terminology” but it’s so important for him to be a bjj blackbelt. I didn’t even post his mount escapes that are ridiculous or his shooting course he made up lol.
      The dude is a grade A conman in terms of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
