Jeremy Horn imho is the most underrated fighter of his era he had a phenomenal amount of fights from memory at least 150+ in a time when most fighters had less than double digits
Glad some people remember him he was the true definition of a journeyman he worked his ass off for the sport

Indeed. Anyone that has ever tried to aggressively attack any target with chuks, is going to understand your practically beating yourself up. They can do a lot of damage but, there's always that chance it'll hit you instead lol

@@raijuko don't want to sound like I'm defending nun chuks, they are pretty useless for self defense, but from what I've seen, following through with your strike prevents them from coming back and hitting you. Again, not defending them, they're probably the most useless flail ever invented, and flails are already pretty useless by today's standards.

Honestly love it when you drop firearm knowledge, I personally have zero myself and find it extremely interesting when you break down the mistakes made by amateurs, even more so than the martial arts side. Maybe a miniseries on idiots with guns?
The "Active Self Protection" channel, Paul Harrell's channel, and a number of other quality channels on youtube are good for understanding guns and how to use them.
Colion Noir is a great overall gun channel to get perspective

If you're limited to youtube for your education (in which case a firearm probably isn't for you) you could do a lot worse than picking up some fundamentals from Harrell. Not that there aren't others I'd recommend.

I've worked out in the same gym as this guy (the one where he does the "flying kick" against several dudes).
He believes every bit of his own hype, and so do his students.

I'll never forget when I was younger my cousin was taking up nunchuks and proceeded to spin them. He was trying to be all fancy and they came back and hit him in the tenders lol I laughed so hard so everytime I see a nunchuk clip, I have a flashback and can't take them seriously 😂 pretty cool though. five for sure

Worth noting too that if you're dealing with someone claiming to be a very high dan grade in shotokan, even really crappy schools still have time in grade requirements for each degree of blackbelt. By my reckoning, the fastest you could achieve a 'legitimate' 10th degree black belt in shotokan is 54 years from achieving your first degree blackbelt. The guy doesn't really look old enough for that.
