Sorry for such a cringe looking video. Tried making it to look relaxed, chill, like having a chat with friends, but ended up just looking cringe :D I am also back to full time work with bicycles, not much time left to mess around, so it is as it is for now :D My tier list for watches: tomaswatchreviews.com
@@TomasWatchReviews The only sort of cringe I've seen so far on this channel was that huge kitchen knife which you use for unboxing. Sorry, I know it's not a big deal and I know you've explained it already, but I just can't help it, because it was so surprising and so out of place. I'm dying of laughter right now. Holy shite! 🤣🤣🤣
This watch also can handle higher pressure than most people would expect. I've seen videos and forum posts of people taking it on pretty deep dives. Really impressive for the price.
Hello, not only do I enjoy your passionate videos about watches, I also dig your cool accent. I have just bought this Casio, and will receive it shortly.. can't wait! Cheers!
I bought 7 of these in January, because Argos were selling them cheap. I decided to sell them at a very small profit in order to share the love. These watches are great and they sold out in no time. They are as tough as old boots. Yes, they have acrylic crystals, but they are so easy to polish with polywatch. Two things could be improved. The lume is not good and there is no warning when the battery is running out. However if you want a watch that can easily compete with a Luminox in the rough stuff for less than £25, then this is it. It’s ultra light, super accurate, I’m get 2 seconds per month or better!!!!! And it will take anything you throw at it. I bought one for a mate 10 years ago and it’s all he wears. He’s put one battery in it and he never takes it off and it’s fine. THE best analogue bargain in the WORLD!
Hey Tomas. Big fan. Also I’m a big fan of this aspect ratio when filming yourself here. Feels like a Tarkovsky film 😂. Very cool stuff. Thanks for this re review and all the good work!
The discontinued mrw-200h-7ev is my favourite. White dial with diver style indices. I prefer dive watches over field, I love a white dial and with a rotating bezel, this watch works best with dive style indices.
I gifted the black one to my nephew so was gonna get the white one but you made some valid points esp. the scratches/shadows thing. Also your last side by side shot shows the black one has that splash of red at the 12 on bezel
Pro tip Tomas. Buy some cheap NATO strap adaptors for this watch and put it on a nice 22mm NATO strap. Maybe a black one for your black watch with black buckles...looks terrific...the adaptors look like part of the watch
Thanks for this video, I'm glad it got to your god-tier list. This is now my daily watch. I have my G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400-1 for night time and more adventurous trips or travelling. I love the smallness and lightness of the MRW-200H, same colour as your black one. I have used it swimming a few times and also hiking. I just love the legibility of it so much, more legible than my Rangeman, except for at night. The rotating bezel is helpful for timing things. Great watch overall.
I have the white dial version. I think it looks more refined and mature. I like how the black dial appears smaller but other than that I prefer the white dial
@@TomasWatchReviews Tomas will you review Casio w59? Its most comfortable watch I have ever had. I have 5 of them. Because I am scared if Casio will not produce that again thats why I buy so many of them. Just give it a try. It is not like f91.
Hello Thomas, i too have the black and the white dial watches and to be honest i like them both, but i too wear the black one more than the white one they are both awesome watches, the white one is a little more bigger than the black one, but again they are awesome watches and keep good time👍
Picked up black dial a few weeks ago. No disappointment. Unbelievable for $21 us. Trying to get used to the light weight of these resin watches. Cheers 🍻
Got the same black dial watch like 3 days ago, its amazing watch and I almost forget i have it on my wrist. It also has NASA connection, the watch was used in a sub orbital test flight. 🔥
Tomas...Moj przyjaciel.....I have the black face ....it is GOD TIER, it was always God tier, and it will always be God tier.....love your work...... salutations from Australia mate!
@@TomasWatchReviews Yes you should try it some time, only down side for me its not suitable for every situation as black one, maybe a little bit fancier. Other than that god tier
Regarding screen readability: which one has a better contrast and is faster to read - white screen with white arrows or black screen with white arrows?
I suggest you buy a screen protector. I installed one on my MRW-200 and I feel as if the watch stepped a level up. In a way, turns the need for a sapphire crystal obsolete.
meh, I removed protector from my phone, could not be happier as the screen is much better without it. Not doing that for my watch :D specially when one of the most important positives is how clear the view is.
Так сделай две вещи и будет тебе счастье. 1. Oil Filled Watch. Белые или черные. Черные наверное будут поконтрастнее. 2. Acrilyc to Sapphire Crystal. Замени оргстекла на сапфир. Cheers
My friend had a blue one. And I agree, it's a gem for the money. But I still wouldn't put it in the god tier, because of reasons which are different than yours... 1) I don't feel comfortable with the bezel action, as I feel it can easily be moved by an accidental bump. 2) I'd rather they didn't even put the bezel on, which would make it look like a classic field watch, and not some sort of plastic imitation of a diver watch. 3) The lume is too weak. 4) And I don't appreciate those PM numbers, which just make the dial looks more busy. I will never understand why so many brands put those numbers on a field watch. I know I shouldn't expect more for the money, but I also wouldn't buy it, nor wear it because of those reasons. I'd rather pay significantly more if those three issues could be fixed or made differently, so it would become a proper, reliable watch.
you technically right. It also scratches very easily. But it has that type of a special feel. So called "honey moon" with a new watch. Except that feeling does not go away as much as with other watches. Strongest reason for a God tier.
@@TomasWatchReviews Nah, I don't really care about scratches, as the acrylic glass is expected to get them. Tho, it's relatively easy to polish those scratches away. But yeah, the watch does look attractive and it's definitely not boring.
@@matejsvigir1449 yeah, I like those watches because they are so light and elegant, but still tough as nails. The only thing I don't appreciate with G-shocks are rubber straps. And their strap system is a bit complicated for changing. One of the reasons I've chosen my square over the GA is its combo bracelet...which is truly fantastic.
