Really great review! I especially like the fashion show with the different straps. More people need to have fun doing these videos. I own the black dial, black bezel version and put a shark mesh bracelet on it for looks, durability and flexibility. It's just like the one you called chainmail. The supplied polyurethane strap is just too stiff and makes my wrist sweat too much. I think my next watch purchase will be this all green Promaster. Good looking dial with a white chapter ring.

This watch has 200m water resistance written on it, those buttons are hard to press so the watch can also resist 20bar water pressure, that’s why the regular Casio has easier buttons but less water resistance. I believe this is the best g shock i have 4 of them already different versions and colors, they’re amazing especially for smaller wrists.

Citizen Promaster is a great choice. I have the Fugu with the blue lume. Can't beat Japanese quality.

I like this watch and i plan on getting it but they really should have made the buttons a little bigger.

Fixed presets are really silly! There should be an option to change the preset like the 5 alarm option in many Casio watches.

You are my favorite watch reviewer! I was lost in Casio's website , but thanks to you I finally found my wanted watch. Its MRW-200H-1BVEF! I just couldn't forgive the buttons on the G-Shock.

Just found one of the best watch review channels out there :) Nice, practical shots, valuable informations. Thank you. I like the watch, it's a G-Shock in compact size, does not attract too much attention, seems it does not get in way of regular day usage by any means. Still I get this "mixed" feeling on cobined analogue+digital watches....I guess sometimes it is difficult to read display when hands are in the way, sometimes the display might seem too small....but for some reason I do like the watch indeed.

This was the video I was looking for! I have a vacation, so I have a lot of time , and today I watched all day reviews of Casio watches. This review is the most meaningful I've seen! I will not buy this G-Shock! Everything you said I kind of already felt inside, but all these reviews that claim that this is the best watch ever somehow confused me. Thank you!

I agree, they are a steal for the quality offered! I just bought my 2nd Swatch watch, but it's my first with the original (thick) stainless steel foldover band. (I have another with a Swatch leather band and buckle) Costing just 19.99 + tax and shipping for $28.78 in total. It's 2-tone with gold plated sections, and the pictures wern't super clear. But I've been a Jewelry repairman and diamond setter for most of 45 years, so I might strip the yellow plate sections depending on what it looks like when it arrives in a few days. With summer here the leather straps absorb a fair amount of "moisture" (ie sweat!). So it'll be nice to just be able to wrince just the band section for cleanup, instead of using leather cleaners, conditioners, and having down time while it dries out. Oh,... @2:40 I noticed the back on yours is showing a much finer finish in the seel than I have seen, which most often are machined and looking like a sandpaper finish. Did you, perhaps, spend a fair amount of time doing that fine job? 🙂 BTW, lots of folks don't know Swatch owns Omega and many other watch brand companies, covering every price range. I have this watch. I have no issues whatsoever.

i brought this watch. i don't like the band, why? 2 reasons,. 1. i know this rubbish plastic band material , after time it tears where the holes are. 2. non standard hinge attachment, band replacement hard to find. a lot of skmei watches are like that. other than that it has good multi functions that are good for timing.

this is a beautiful watch with an amazing crisp screen with dark digits. this is the best sub $20 watch you can get in the US. Amazing features. Only wish would be for Casio to provide steel buckles for all their budget models, when ultra value watches from skmei all provide steel buckles. I think I may buy a second ae1500.

I have the earlier Ben Nevis (without the new 12 O'clock logo) --------- I have owned it for about 5 years. It has never caused any trouble - it keeps time as accurately as many of my other more expensive watches. In terms of dial accuracy - there is no play - so moving the hands to the right position has never been an issue. For anyone interested in this range - I'd say - look for the older model. The Ben Nevis is now my everyday use watch 🤟😎

The forwards/backwards setup of the right side buttons becomes rational when you think of them as clockwise and counter-clockwise buttons (and not up/down, more/less) which I think is their intent, this being a watch and all

I've just picked one of these up. Really like it, especially for the £47 I paid Inc shipping and taxes. There are 2 issues though. One is the crown which is stiff to turn and doesn't seem to pick the screw thread up as easily as my other watches. The second is the Bezel which is slightly out of alignment.

The watch on your right hand can move back in time I guess
