I have 25 watches in two watch cases. I have some g shocks that cost $400. This $20 watch is still my favorite and my EDC. It’s crazy actually. It is the most visible and comfortable of any I own. I actually bought 3 to have for spares! I just changed the battery in my primary MRW-200 which took all of 10 minutes. It’s ready for another 5 years. Im 54 now and love the visibility. This watch is one in a million.
This has been my pool watch for at least 11 years. I keep it strapped to my backpack that I carry my goggles and towels and suntan lotion. I swim 1/2 hour every week day my complex pool is opened from Memorial day to Labor day and put this on before I get int o the pool. This watch has 100's of hours in the pool. Great watch for this purpose. I've changed the battery a few times in 11 years and it holds up to the change, in other words doesn't leak. You can't go wrong for a beater watch. I do wear an Invicta Men's Pro Diver mother of pearl watch for daily use, work and other outings and have worn that in the pool when on vacation, but I prefer the light weight of this watch much better. A real beater watch...always wear it..even when I sleep..shower..always on my wrist..just one of those watch you can wear anytime anywhere..tough!! Reliable..a military watch! Very worth it!
@@racecarjonny8460 They use their own “module” number always outlined by a rectangle on case-back. The MRWs say 5125. I believe my G-shocks are Casio made. As stated though, my MRWs are more accurate than the G-shock movements and I mostly prefer analog readouts.
I really don't treat any of my watches as beater watches. But this one is my absolute favorite casual and shorts wearing watch. I pay $20 this is clean, simple, rugged looking, and just gets the job done. One of the best value for the money watches you could ever buy.
Had this particular watch for five years now and I only have two pairs of watch. had its original strap replaced with a nato nylon strap it never goes out of style really.
I’ve just bought one for work, as my F 91W just gave up…today! It’s about 9 years old, so I thought I would treat myself to either this, or a Rolex sub. This one won. All the best.🤣👍🏾😉
A very underrated imo. Very comfortable watch and I keep coming back to it every now and then. Analog G-Shocks are too big. This is perfectly sized, like the square G-Shock.
and its so resisant i hit it hundred times on reefs while diving and even more at work in kitchen in warehouse ... for couple of years abused works perfect...

One of the best value watches anywhere, & so many colourways to choose from even a silver coloured case & a stainless steel bracelet version for under £30 totally agree that this little watch should be exempt from any criticism.

Got this watch a second time, as the first one I got stopped working early on. The second one I got seems to work, but the second hand doesn't hit on each marker like my Swatch to Timex. So I would say Casio watches are not as good as the two brands I mentioned. I'm going on holiday today, so I'll test it in the pool and water, but I suspect it won't be as good as Timex.
Great review. I’m really tempted by one of these. The price has crept up a bit but still under £30 for most colourways so still a load of watch for the money. You got a bargain with that one!
I don't hate on quartz, it has its uses and advantages. I much prefer mechanical watches for the ones that I get really interested in and enjoy wearing. But quartz can be cheaper, more durable, and will be running when mechanical watches are not. I tend to wear mechanical when I'm going to my office on weekdays, and quartz on weekends or any days when I'm working in the yard or working in my garage. I do have beater watches, these days they are old and very worn Luminox models. This Casio would fit right in.

I just bought my second one, it really is a fantastic watch! I found the green for 4.$ us, was so impressed bough the black face, I like to put them on a 20 mm nato, made to fit with some cuts.
This watch just came in the mail today and I'm wearing it now. I really like this watch: very comfortable and very accurate with the time. A great watch to add to your collection.

I JUST mentioned in the comments section of another video that white dials (black can do it too) are so versatile to strap changes that you'll develop a secondary strap collecting hobby! (I'm well beyond the need for a strap case/organizer, and I don't even feel like I have that many.)
Watch is a great value, but some cons include poor lume, bezel that can be bumped and moved easier than traditional diver bezel, and you can't dress it up at all. But still a fantastic watch for the price
I've seen several reviews of these where the second hand doesn't hit the markers. It's just one of those things... you're rolling the dice :) But on a watch this affordable, it doesn't really matter. Mine is lined up almost perfectly (though not spot on.)
Just ordered one from argos in the sale for 12.99. 100m water resistant myota quartz for that price is awesome. Bought it as an alternative to my G shock for work.

The numbers are lumed ONLY on exactly THIS colourway, but NONE of the others that have numbers in different colours, and not even the blue dial with white numbers!

The hands are more important anyway, she the hands lume is gone before the numbers, it's pretty pointless to see the numbers without the hands.

Bro, I checked the reviews on Flipkart, can you confirm the following about this watch (Casio MRW200H)? 1. its resin dial glass gets scratched easily. (if not taken care of) 2. The date complication shows 31 every month.

Since you didn't have the heart to mention cons - I will. Lume lasts only a few minutes, so it's pretty much useless. Strap is hard and thin. My watch is brand new so have no idea how long this strap would last, but I'm not too keen to find it out, so I ordered a silicone strap which is thicker and more supple, a strap that this watch deserves. The rest remains to see, but so far I like it, looks promising. ⌚ 🤔 EDIT: before going to bed I charged lume for a minute with my mobile phone torch, and even though lume didn't stay very bright - after my eyes got adjusted to the dark I was able to see time pretty much until morning, so it's a definite lume pass. 🌟
At under £10 I can hardly call out any cons, if the price was £30 maybe £40 then I would certainly call out the lume, the strap though is pretty good IMO and it's holding up well as my beater watch. Interested to hear what silicone strap you went for though, thanks for watching.

Silicone strap I went for isn't anything expensive, it would have been silly to spend on it as much as I've spent on my watch. The strap I chose is a £9 "Eono Silicone Watch Strap, 18mm Quick Release Silicone Waterproof Replacement Band" on Amazon. I have edited my original post after checking lume overnight, see my correction.

Hello Vedran, I'd say swimming for sure, and diving to some extent, the bezel doesn't rotate, is only 100m water resist and the lume in my opinion is not to diving standards, but for a swim it will do the job. Thanks for commenting

Interesting and bears resemblance to the Luminox SEAL watches but only 100m WR. Still pretty cool for a $25 beater👍🏻

I’m here for the baldness. ✊ The step-up from this one would be the Duro. The MRW-200H is indeed an affordable EDC watch.
I have the duro in blue and black dial. I honestly still prefer this model! More comfortable and a little smaller. They are both incredible.
