Thanks. Didn't know that's how they came apart. I tend to just use new and replace them once a year, but now I can clean out the old one and keep it on hand as a spare.
Awesome video. Now I know how to do it. I have a service tech come to my boiler and change the nozzle every 3 months. Due to it constantly getting clogged. NYC fuel oil for ya.
Put a better filter system on it. I travelled 9 states working on industrial and institutional units. Good filtration= clean system= fewer nuisance shutdowns.
Actually $18.99+tax $21.46 and that's if theres any in stock.. I clean the nozzle 3 times a season because of all the dirty used engine oil I run through it. I've been using this nozzle 3 years with no issues. It takes 10 min to clean it. So $22 times 9 times is over $200.... soooooooo yeah.
Either all of you were trolling each other or critical nozzle pricing information is being withheld from me. State the supplier after smuggly asserting its only $5 or $6 for fu**s sake. 5 bucks, 6 bucks, 20 fu**ing dollars? Good lord, I'll just feed the beast that is Amazon and get it there I suppose 😂

Cheaper to replace nozzle
You have no way off knowing what the accuracy of that nozzle is any more or if now has the correct spray pattern
What are you doing with the razor knife at 3:00? Cleaning the tiny slots out?
less music and more explaining!
Are you using the engine oil straight or mixing it?
Never clean nozzles...........
Why is that?
I keep a nozzle on hand from Home Depot ($8)or Sid Harvey's($6) on hand just in case...and have plenty left over for beer

Have you ever used carb cleaner? Use it all over that, electrodes, plate. Everything
Step 1...buy a New $6 nozzle
Step 2....throw away the old one

@@backyardgarage ...well you're getting nozzled.....if they charge that much...but hey...if the oil is free....go for it
Disassembled the nozzle and soaked in cleaning fluid...was not worth the effort! Bought a new nozzle for $5.00 and reassembled the next day.

Agree - just ordered one including postage in the UK - 10 bucks. Same price as it was 20 years ago, when I installed the boiler
