Great video! I have an oil furnace. It’s acting up and I think that the nozzle just needs to be cleaned. Can’t wait two months for the local furnace company to come out. Going to try it on my own.

Nice job. I noticed when you removed the nozzle it was all wet like there’s some oil not burning in the housing. What would be the cause? I’m fairly new to having a boiler. Purchase my home about 3yrs now and last year I began noticing some drips on the floor coming from underneath the Beckett. Had annual service performed and all seamed well.

Probably due to not having a clean cut oil pump. A solenoid on the oil pump.

@@vincentpadalino8003 Interesting, would that be in the the Suntec A2VA-7116? That filter was also replaced when maintenance was performed.

I don’t replace the pump screen on all maintenance. You genuinely have a good idea by looking at the oil filter and nozzle if you need to change the pump screen.

We have a Coleman with a Beckett. Im trying ti figure out the whole clean out thing. Furnace has been stuck in lockout. I notice the clean out bottom nipple screw has a slow leak. The screw seems very tight. Havnt been able to loosen or tighten. We have the filter outside. Tryi h ti get her back up and running

I would start with new oil filter and nozzle. Bleed oil line and go from there. Good luck
