I remember seeing PBD on youtube back in like 2012 talking about wealth, on a paper pad he would write on. Love seeing how he's kept going and growing his brand.
Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

It’s always advisable to Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.

I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Luck is way off the picture. Jonas Herman, a licensed fiduciary is the brain behind my success. I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $19k spread across stocks (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, cryptocurrency and ETFs, for the long term. Now with over 91k in roi, I sit back and just reinvest at intervals while I handle my other businesses.
To me, investing is not worth it and I know that's the same mindset holding me back from taking a step forward in my finances. It’s all gambling.

I'm close to 40. I didn't start my journey of building wealth until my early 30s and I'm close to reach a million in assets with 50k in debt all with passive strategy and working a normal job (working my butt off). I'm not stingy but frugal. I don't buy expensive cars or expensive electrics (those things don't make me happy at all). I've been driving the same car for 7 years which I bought used and it still looks nice. I also enjoy trips in and out of the country without a money cap. My hobbies require to buy things that help me be somewhat in shape such as a bicycle or tennis equipment. Pat is right, knowing someone with a different financial level than you can help you but I still don't know that millionaire or have a friend that is a millionaire and I had to figure a way to do it on my own. For the way things are going and with the capital I have, I can clearly see that at some point I'll be able to triple what I have within the next 10 years. Having the capital with discipline and luck, it's likely for that to happens.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. There is no sign whether one can be a millionaire or not stuffs like that happens to be luck sometimes ,investing in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should be the top priority for everyone right now. especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. Stocks, gold, silver, and virtual currencies are still attractive investments at the moment.
