I believe your day as an entrepreneur is a pure reflection of your morning rituals. How you start your day will determine the type of day you're going to end up having.
A lot of people ask me, "Pat, I want to know how your day starts. What do you do in the morning? What time do you wake up. What time do you do this? What time do you do that?"
In this video, I'll share with you exactly what I do in the morning, and I'll also cover the morning rituals of some other entrepreneurs that I respect.

i wont even lie, waking up early was the hardest part for me for a long long time. but, then i realized i was able to do SO much more because not only was i gaining an extra hour of my day, i was also in a no BS mood, so when something had to be done it got done immediately, its incredible how much can be done in a short amount of time if you just stop being lazy and are motivated

Thank you. Pat, for the last seven months i have 6 jobs. Day and night, super motivated i use every hour of my day beng productive. I only sleep every saturday night. I can do all of these because of money . and how happy i am to see my family get what they want and need. This month the urge of acquiring them becomes low because I always dream of something i want to do for life. I quit all of those 6 jobs, and now starting my own company. Thankfully my wife is very supportive on my decision and has faith on my plans. I earned enough to start my own. having 6 jobs means having 6 bosses, Now i am my own boss. Im thankful to have found your videos, Entrepreneur is a path of no return. Keep it up. All your topics helps alot.

Seriously! I am not at the point where I can relax in the morning and take time to myself. If I am not sleeping, I am on the computer, putting out ads, contacting people, adding to my website, etc. 20 hours a day I am working... and drinking coffee. I probably drink 3 pots of coffee a day.

Mate been there done that, MAXING OUT, heavily relying on stimulants etc.. Long story short after a few years of shit progress(compared to now) I crashed and burned. In those conditions your health is very fragile, it will give out as soon as something heavier hits it - family crysis, heavy virus, whatever.
Maybe take an employee for the robotic jobs that need doing, free time and invest in yourself. You will get your creativity back and you'll start moving forward at a much faster rate.
I'm not telling you to chill out and stop working hard, get yourself in a state where you can work 20 hrs with 1 cup of coffee, invest in yourself first, your website second.
Also morning rituals are not a time to relax per se, it's just getting yourself in the right condition to be as productive as possible in the next 16-20 hours. The right morning ritual is like your gym warm-up.

    • @EemMiIiLlLl
      @EemMiIiLlLl 8 років тому +19

I admire your hustle but you're gonna hit the famous wall if you continue to do that.
You gotta take time to invest in yourself, you gotta take time to just disconnect from the world every now and then. Sleeping 4 hours a day is not recommended either. Sure it can be done over short periods of time but if you do it all the time you're gonna pay for it later on and you don't wanna do that.
You are always the most important thing.

Reading the news in the morning can be a desctructive ritual. It's basically a negative affirmation which works on a subconscious level. You will start with a bad image of the world full of terror and death. Depends on what you read of course but most media is filled with negativity. If it worked for you it's ok but I would not recommend it to everyone.
    My morning looks like this:
5 Minutes motivational speaker audio while brushing teeth.
    Cold Shower
    Breakfast: Protein porridge
20 Push Ups, 15 Squats, 5 Jumps as high as I can.
    10 Minutes meditation
    5 Minutes affirmations
30-60 minutes of reading a book about personal development.

People don’t seem to understand regarding waking hours that’s it’s not about quantity as much as it’s about quality. I much rather give 100% in 16h instead of giving

Patrick i dont know if you will see my comment or respond but i want to say THANK YOU. About a year ago i started a bussiness, i trade options and your videos motinated me. i learned things all along. Options are not easy, i wanted to quit a million times but you always motivated me. A year later after hard work and struggle i made it. I now earn 5 digits a month.
Thank you, i always wait for your videos all.

Preach it! Your routine is the best in addition to the guy that runs 6 miles. Physical activity energizes the brain. Doing it first thing in the morning sets you up to be able to handle anything when you get in the office - sometimes when others seem like they just rolled out of bed.

🌷 It is now Year 2020 and this video is still fresh and relevant for businessmen and women. I’ve just learned of Valuetainment in 2019, and what got me is how REALISTIC and forthright you are about what it really takes to compete. You don’t allow anyone to feel like they’re a victim or that some force is going to magically rescue them. You tell it like it is and show people how to fix what’s broken in their outlook and behavior so they can be empowered to win. Thank you 🙏🏽

    My ritual is:
I wake up (usually, no later than 11 am, I'm more of a night owl)
Clean my bedroom because I work from it, straighten up my desk, drink a lot of water, brew some coffee,
Do my yoga stretches, meditate, use my roller to get the kinks out of my body and a tennis ball against a wall to get the kinks of out of my back, if there are some.
Make breakfast, and read a few chapters of whatever book I'm reading while I'm eating.
Shower then get on my grind.
Around lunch is when I get my exercise in.

I'm supposed to be saving for post secondary and I've never had a part time job. is it still worth spending money on massages? also, should I spend on a real business page on Facebook where they give me valuable statistics?

You have a better chance of taking people on that journey to change your life and heal yourself because there many like you that suffer from all kinds of illness and if u can show there is a way to overcome your illness because there is a way but only if u believe

Patrick, another great video! I loved how you said this life is about creating. How this life is not just for us but the next generation and what will our impact be over the next 80-100 years? I also really liked how you went into detail about your morning ritual with prayer, meditation, affirmations, thinking, gratitude and visualization. And, lest I forget! What a great comparison of how we need to take care off our bodies, like they were a car! I really enjoyed this video and got so much out of it. Just terrific. I'm looking into what successful people do in the mornings. Your routine aligns with what I'm creating mine to be. Thank you for making this!

Great insights about the importance of routines. I'm encouraged that you take the time to talk about affirmation and maintaining the mind-body-spirit. You've talked a lot about harnessing your life's energy, the ability to not burn out, and that viewing food-as-fuel helps keep the engine that is your mind and body functioning at peak capacity. Now, I'm just a random guy on the internet, but I want to share with you what I do and how it has changed my life. I switched to a ketogenic diet a few months ago and have embraced 16/8 intermittent fasting. The boost to mental clarity, body function, and laser focus is amazing. I don't eat "breakfast" until 11:00 AM and I'm to get more done in a morning than most people accomplish in a week. It has been an amazing change that impacts the mind-body-spirit in amazing ways. Just thought I'd share since you've talked about health and weight loss. I've gone from 233 to 183 in the last year between paleo, now ketosis, and exercise.
