I have periods of craving certain foods for a while, five times of eating it or so maybe weeks if it's once per week e. g.- plain chips with my own sour cream concoction to make it tasty or for months I could consume two bags of organic popcorn, from Aldi, for months, then it was plantain chips two small bags, Aldis, per week, too, but now - it is horrible and it's a great thing this just happened today. I've been at least once a month then twice a month getting donuts with buttercream - for me, I can't go any sweeter than this and I know that it is complete junk. This afternoon while eating half of one with chocolate on top,( I have one more full donut but this has powdered sugar instead of thick chocolate frosting), with my green tea and I add natural peppermint from my garden. I thought that the smell of the donut was repulsive; I think it was the chocolate frosting,( it wasn't like a Boston cream, not that type of chocolate), because I have a great sense of smell & taste but something was off - I ate it anyway and thought " what are you doing eating this pure sugar? Why? This is worse than the bagels you worry about eating once per week". I will finish this last donut but only eat half today, the other half tomorrow and this video, thank you Dr. Rajani, I'm seeing this at the perfect time... - when it's finished, I doubt I will ever touch another donut again. Yes, I could throw out the last donut tomorrow, but I don't believe in food waste and it's not in a sealed package, otherwise, I could pass it off to someone else... Thank you again for reminding me that you will look like the way you eat no matter what else you do - special creams, LED lights, sauna, etc. One must eat healthy, that is half the battle and when having a craving even during our hormonal changes, ladies, but the philosophy goes for us all, think of whether the craving is going to be good food or bad for our bodies? It's hard to give up something you crave so, when you're thinking about making this purchase, don't even go down the aisle which it can be found, don't place a call to that restaurant or walk near it, and definitely don't call those companies that will bring it to you. Be good to your body and it will not only be good to you internally but it will make us look better rather than worse, much worse if we give in to our unhealthy cravings. 👍✊
A final thought. I believe a step in the right direction, for me personally, is to NOT gift others with sugar laden items. I may struggle with simple sugars and self-discipline, however, misery does not need or even deserve company and giving candy, cookies etc is NOT an act of love. This is just my opinion and how i've come to look at it.
Yes! I’m going into teaching this year and have seriously been considering alternative “treats” for students. I know kids love candy and the teachers that give it out. But I can’t in good faith give out candy and I decided I’m going to give out cool stickers instead.
Sugar is UNHIDDEN in my life. Addicted. And i know it has impacted my skin (and teeth and body)in terms of elasticity and those "caramelized" brown spots. Very hard giving it up and/or switching to healthier sources and adds another layer of difficulty reversing or halting the damage. Personal change happens in the heart. I am not there yet. Like our beloved doctor says, don't bring it into the house. I have done that much of my life, especially with ice cream. If it is not in the house, I am not tempted. If it is in the house, I won't eat anything else until the ice cream is gone. So, try that for awhile, and give yourself some time. Yes, have a bit of fruit, make your own lemonade with a fresh squeezed lemon with stevia to sweeten and some seltzer water with crushed ice. It makes it all go away. If you give in to temptation, forgive yourself and just start over again. Also know that what sugar does to your face it is doing to your arteries and other organs; this is more than a cosmetic issue.
Great advice Dr. Anil Rajani! I gave up sugar, refined carbohydrates & processed foods in 2020. I was asked by a friend in 2022 if I’d had Botox treatments! All I did was change my lifestyle. I eat overnight organic oats with chia seeds & flaxseeds made with probiotic natural yogurt. Lunch is 2 boiled eggs & salad or a cheese omelette & salad, with an apple or pear. Dinner is high quality protein with a wide variety of steamed vegetables & Greek yogurt & berries. For a treat I have a handful of nuts & dark chocolate. I only drink water, tea & coffee, plus the occasional glass of red wine. I also walk over 10k steps a day, swim 4-6 times a week, and do weekly yoga & reformer pilates classes. I have an elderly parent with late onset type one diabetes with a range of health & mobility issues. I understand that I need to have a healthy lifestyle, keep within my calorie allowance & stay active. This lifestyle shows in how healthy I look to others.
Oats , a lot of them, can be contaminated with fungicide they spray on them while they dry the grain. It's cancer causing. I love oatmeal but I don't eat it anymore.
100% certain I have glycation face. I thought it was only the stress after a truly horrific year of extreme stress and serious problems. I have not slept well, sleep deprivation being a direct result of the stress, and I have been drinking stupid amounts of energy drinks to try to keep myself going and terrible food choices because I could not dedicate any resources or time to eating properly. Convenience, low cost and not having to worry about expiration dates or food prep was most important. I look forward to being able to look after myself better when all the chaos and trauma is over.

Yep. Decades of binge-drinking caused me to premature age horribly. At 48 I look like my grandmother when she was 70. DONT CONSUME SUGAR IF YOU WANT TO STAY YOUTHFUL LOOKING.
Hi Dr R ! Here is your Chocolate Chia ! This is great for breakfast, a break at work or desert , tweak out how sweet or chocolatey you like the taste- I tend to use in less honey and more vanilla as I like bitter sweet dark chocolate. This makes around 2 servings 2 generous tablespoons of cocoa powder- not drinking chocolate - raw , organic whatever you have at home. 1-2 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup - or less to suit your sweet tooth 1-2 teaspoon of natural vanilla extract
1 cup of milk - I like unsweetened oat milk - dairy or plant milk 1/4 cup of Chia seeds - black or white, I use the black as they blend into the chocolate for a nice look.
A splash of boiled water to mix and dissolve the cocoa powder and mix this with the milk, add your sweetener or honey , the vanilla and mix out any lumps. Mix in 1/2 the chia and stir to stop them settling on the bottom, mix in the rest and stir till all the seeds are wet. I do this in a straight sided preserve jar , them put the lid on and shake it to avoid a chia lump in the mix. Divide it into a second jar and you have two serves. Keep in the fridge overnight. Serve with coconut yoghurt, banana, strawberries, raspberries or any other fruits you like or tinned fruits if its winter , you can spread this in a shallow pie crust , top with fruit and yoghurt and call it desert. This is a great breakfast treat or take on a hike, or as a quick snack between patients, more heathy than not and has a great chocolatey taste. Hope you like it and its easy! Love you work, Lisale

I gave up sugar and processed refined carbs in my early twenties/early 30s.Now I will be turning 40 and people are very surprised when I tell them my age. They think I am in my late 20s. Wearing sun protection as well and avoiding the sun has benefitted me too. Stay away from sun and sugar.
@@rajanimdskincareThank you. I have also never had any fillings or issues with my teeth. My breath never smells. I never feel plaque on my teeth. White sugar is a drug. It robs your body of nutrients too (as your well know). Keep up the good work doctor. A big up to you from London! I always love watching your informative videos.
Get 10-15mins of sun before 10am, just be sure to use sunscreen on your face, neck and chest. Check out Andrew Huberman’s podcast about this, we need some exposure to sunlight for our health (sleep, mood, mental health and other body processes). Don’t completely avoid the sun just be careful. @@melanie.c25 Not much sun exposure is needed, only about 10-15 minutes 2-3 times a week. And then again you mustn't expose your face, neck etc to the sun. Until menopause, I had a healthy diet. I ate very few sweets. After menopause my diet changed dramatically. I craved sweets and the foods I had always loved, I no longer found appetizing. Also - when my children were at home we ate on a regular schedule and ate healthy meals. Now that it is just my husband and me, we just don’t eat regularly. Most of the time I’ll eat a scoop of ice cream and call that dinner. Lately I have made a Herculean effort to eat at least one healthy meal a day - it’s a struggle. So chalk up another stressor of being old - battling to eat healthy when you have very little appetite for it! Old age is not for sissies!
So many things you could//should do. But IMO, you also should enjoy life and not stress too much about every little thing that is aging you. Great video, Dr. Rajani ❤

I began the “ lazy “ keto diet as a start. Its day 3 and I already see an improvement ❤️ I began with lazy keto because I wanted to become acclimated to this new life style, and ease off sugar , so not to become frustrated and give up. I am excited to see more results and I began estriol cream as well. Thank you for these videos!
@@taniaguerrant5280 It can be looked up online. “ Lazy Keto” . It is helping me to control my carb/ sugar intake which is terrible for overall health and especially skin. I didn’t realize how badly I ate until I really tried to eat so much better. I must have been easily taking in 150 -200 carbs a day . Lazy Keto is 50 and under. On a bad day Im at 55-70. Far better than my usual. I have a off day I restart without being discouraged. Its still an improvement. I cannot do strict keto because dairy is inflammatory and I have autoimmune issues. So the high fat content of strict keto cannot work for me as easily because I wont eat so much dairy. I do have avocado and olive oils and other healthy fats . The lazy keeps me in check and well aware…without such deprivation :)
Oh my. This is exactly what I'm doing to my skin. I'm a sugar addict. But I have cut way back and I'm already going to order your collagen! @@SouthFloridaSunshineThat may be oxalate dumping. Check it out as many of us recovering vegetarians have too many oxalates that our dairy free, low fat diets create.
@@ybigirl No, it’s not as I was carnivore and have had flares with the gout list I feel great on fresh raw greens and know about oxalates from being a gardener. But thank you so much.
@@ybigirl Also never said it happened as part of any low fat diet. Dairy free be cause that is breast milk from a cow which equals extra hormones I want nothing to do with, keeps my body less inflamed. Never was a complete vegan or vegetarian for long as my body needs protein. Just need to watch the proteins that set off gouty arthritis. Mine is genetic and showed up after menopause which seems to be very on point for gout in women.
@@SouthFloridaSunshineI wouldn't recommend milk, for the same reasons, but fermented dairy can be good for SOME people .Having cheese with salads helps to bind the oxalates, hence the common practice of throwing some crumbled feta or blue cheese on the top. And, yes, as I'm now in my 50s and through menopause, the loss of hormonal regulation of inflammatory response is quite shocking to experience. It is one of the reasons I've had to go OMAD carnivore. Nothing else solved the joint pain issues and general exhaustion. We learn so much about metabolism and hormone regulation when we lose both, don't we?

I certainly have far too much sugar in my diet…BUT something I find helpful is looking at what you eat over a week vs day to day. When I noticed I’ve been indulging a bit too much I just turn it down for a bit. This balance has severed me well over the last few years since losing weight and helps me maintain a balanced life and weight.😊🌻 Great videos Doctor!
That’s certainly better than nothing but it’s not preventing or avoiding sugar spikes. So, it will help prevent diabetes but not helping much with your skin.
To help preserve the skin from sagging, it is best to eat food with savory and sour taste in the morning. Reduce coffee to a minimal. The two fruits or juices that help the skin at breakfast would be strawberry juice/ fruit and lemon water. Consume fruit juice only small amount just a shot like tequilla. Minimize yellow fruits that have high sugar content like mango, pineapple, bananas, orange, and persimmon. Minimize or skip fried meat, deep fried food, baked food especially cookies. Rather eat food steam, boil, or raw. I found out fried egg makes my facial skin soft and sag not long after. Fried protein has high amount of glycation factor. Hot shower on the face is another one factor to make skin dry and sag. Heat seems to relax the support muscle. Best to use cold water for face washing and pat dry with hand or soft polyester cloth that does not absorb all moisture from the face. Use Perrier water to spray on the face after shower. Eat more fatty fish, fish belly. Collard green is good for skin. Indian food also helps the eyes lid from sagging. It even makes the eyes look bigger. I think the spices do it. I noticed the effect after eating it every time. Hope it helps.❤
@MotoM0nk i did not say no fruits. I say minimize the consumption meaning eating small amount. Same apply to fruit juice. Just drink small amount. You may want to reread it again.❤

Hello Dr. Rajani, I agree with you our options for protein bars is horrible--as well as protein powders! I used to make my own granola for snacking while hiking and biking.
Hello Doctor Rajani, I just subscribed to your channel and I purchased some of your products. I want to thank you for all of your helpful advice. It has already made a significant difference in my skin. Thank you so much!
I love your videos and agree that sugar is bad for our health however you showed women that were old. Unless there’s a treatment we ALL will eventually get lines wrinkles , sagging etc.
I love you Dr. Rajani. You are cheerful and upbeat. Thank you for your channel. It’s a beauty saver. Try as I might, I cannot sleep to save my life. Anyone have suggestions? I’ve tried everything. Thank you!
What helps me to fall asleep quickly is to listen to a podcast with wired earphones in bed. Pick something that is all talk, no music and close your eyes. No matter how interesting the podcast, I get extremely sleepy within 10 mins tops. There is something about the voices in my ear combined with being relaxed that gets my mind to shut off. And yes, I am usually (not always 😄) aware enough to take off the headphones and shut off my cell phone once I start dozing.
Good you spoke of may skin health related topics. With regards to AGEs and skin glycation, you only touched in endogenous AGEs. Exogenous AGEs are just as harmful and come from dry cooking at high temperatures. Anything above boiling point significantly increase AGEs formation. Sticking to boiling, steaming and slow cooking is best.
I haven’t had sugar in a very long time. (Except what is naturally occurring in my fresh & frozen fruits or dried plums). Sometimes as a treat I’ll have dried cranberries (the 50% less sugar option) with my raw seed and nut mix (ALL RAW pepitas/sunflower seeds/ chia flax sesame cashews). I only ever get plain unflavored Greek yogurt that is sugar free - and when I’m craving something sweet I’ll have toasted seeded bread with SUGAR FREE sun butter instead of peanut butter and a nice pad of calcium rich butter. Also I should mention- first thing in the morning I drink a glass of chia water before my morning coffee that has collagen powder abd msm powder mixed in. Another extremely healthy treat is chia and flax meal pudding - high in omega fatty acids and protein (chia and flax seeds/ground seeds mixed with your choice of milk and cardamom a set in the fridge- if I need a little natural sweetener I’ll use stevia or a DROP of a anti-inflammatory raw honey. Good for skin and hair health. If I want something like ice cream I’ll eat frozen banana slices and frozen dark cherries. And if we’re being honest here I have tk admit I sometimes keep a bag of chocolate chips in the cup overs and I’ll have a handful maybe once every three months if the cravings are bad that day - however I’m soon going to be replacing that with unsweetened carob chips. I was addicted to chocolate for a few years in my early 30s and I definitely had all the telltale signs that Dr Rajani highlighted here. At 38, my jowls and face sag is much less noticeable than at 33-35. Of course I’ve charged my diet completely -I’m eating vegetarian/Mediterranean and no processed / fried foods or sugar and junk. And my hyperpigmentation is 10x better (I’ve also been wearing hats and spf always whenever I leave the house, use an argon/ neon wand a few times a month, and I’ve gently attacked my skin with a BALANCED regimen of LED red light, vit c , aha/ga/la , tretinioin, copper peptides, collagen; EGF, (new and haven’t used yet- HA with argirline and matryxl 3000) bakuchoi, ceramides, some ice probably forgotten (NEVER all at once- honestly I rotate my serums and lotions and don’t use more than one or two at a time (of course I’ve researched what can and cannot be used together) and washing face w purpose soap only once a day if that - keeping my barrier in check with rosewater, glycerine and cream with seaweed/sea kelp ) honestly I have one lotion with niacinimide but don’t use it very often, have a Dr. Pen that I’m currently purging my skin of actives this week so I can use it in a few days (must go 7 days without active ingredients before micro needling!) Yikes this is long winded as usual but honestly- my skin looked like a spotted frog I had a terrible melasma mask and hyperpigmentation from scars abd bad sunspots, saggy jowls, eleven and marionette lines - and just by changing my diet and getting rid of sugar I’ve noticed a huge difference in both my waistline and my skin health. I have to say I’ve gotten my basic skincare regimen from Dr Rajani (the skin reset regimen I think?) and my skin has never been better. I’m waiting to finish up a few of the skincare products I have before buying EMU oil- but I did take Drs advice and found a nice HA serum with argeriline, just last week but I haven’t opened it yet. Will definitely return abd comment after a month of consistent use. Thank you Dr Rajani for another informative video. Honestly I didn’t know sugar was one of the worst things for aging skin until I watched one of your other videos.
Very informative! Thank you! I think it’s pretty easy to not get the added sugars with the foods mentioned. There are peanut butters that are just peanuts and salt, yoghurts without the added sugary stuff, almond milk that is unsweetened etc. My only “downfall” has been kombucha. I love it every morning, BUT it has added sugar ☹️
I know many sugar carb addicts and they look great for their age it's unreal! But genes and being on the heavier side helps as some are. We are not all the same - age the same and yes sugar is not good for us but in moderation it is absolutely fine.
Dr Rajani, Think trail mix. I make my own use a zip lock bag and you can load up on nuts and seeds and dried fruit what ever your heart desires. My dried fruit is apricots and I cut them up in smaller pieces... it's my natural candy.
I’m going into teaching this year and I’ve seen so many videos about teachers giving candy as treats. I remember how I used to love teachers that gave out candy too. I have thought long and hard about this, but can’t in good faith give out candy in my class. I’m going to go for stickers instead (I’ll be teaching middle school science so there are so many cool ones!)
Thankyou for this video it has certainly made me sit up straight and listen. I feel a bit sad now because during lockdown and beyond I was working from home, ate a lot of "comfort food " full of sugar . I have aged 10 years and relate to all of those signs. Goodness is there any hope without surgery? I will drink more water and cut out sugar and hope for the best.
Thanks for the information Dr. Rajani, very informative! I'm addicted to sugar and don't see myself giving it up completely in my lifetime, but I'm going to do my best to at least cut down on it and eat more of the healthier alternatives. Thanks again! 😁
Sadly experiencing sugar sag as a long term vegetarian with carb addiction I'm disgusted with myself and now I'm in my mid thirties and truly seeing the irreversible damage... I am working towards preventing worsening by lowering my insulin/glucose ... But it's so hard. True skin beauty comes from within. Specifically diet. As a skincare specialist (and registered massage therapist) I am highly aware of topical skincare practices to nourish skin on the outside but I have completely abandoned my internal workings due to a diet that essentially killing me. ... Don't be disgusted with yourself. Everyone does crazy stuff when we are young. Look at yourself now and think " Isn't it wonderful that I have so much life left. I'm going to do my best from now on to be healthy and happy. "🤗
Thank you, I needed to hear this had gotten off all sugar for months, been under a lot of stress and it was dressings, and even healthier versions of soy free teriyaki that’s hidden sugars reintroduced the cravings. I think low carb can be super aging too as it raises stress hormones. I have a friend who went keto a little over ten years ago, and she has aged sooo fast since then, whereas before, when mostly whole food plant based, I thought she was aging slowly, and she looked younger than her age-now she looks much older than her age. :( Her keto diet was also whole food based-not junk keto at all. I will also add that she did go through menopause during this time, and both men and women do age faster around age 50+, but I have observed many others during that time period of their life who continued to age gracefully, and I just feel like something made her age so much faster. I’m not saying for certain that it’s the diet, but I am highly suspicious that it might be! I just want to feel good. 😆 I did carnivore for a while but had low energy. I’m now doing bioenergetics, which is eating for energy, so I eat lots of fruit, but I’m sticking to animal proteins due to their bioavailability. I also eat Whole Foods and avoid PUFA fats from vegetable and seed oils like the plague.

Yes. Fruits, nuts, dark chocolate, assorted green tea, etc. make such good gifts.
Dunno, I believe everything in moderation is the way to go
Yes! Agree 100%. In my country is a “custom” to bring cakes to elderly or sick. Sugar overload cake will not help them… 😳
Excellent point

This is my Sunday confession and you all are the Priest..lol
I have the addiction too. I cannot bring it into the house. I eat a little fruit. It has the fiber.....I feel your pain. Make it a Super Fun Sunday
@@rajanimdskincare I know that "confession"sounds defeatist. And it does require more self-love,good self-care in my life. BRAVO on both achieving sobriety and the longevity of your sobriety! I only hope to the change of heart needed in order to change some of my own ways.
Its always a swap, isnt it? Seems adfiction is like a rotten onion. Peel back a layer, ya find snother and so on. Well, that is, until we dig deep, get to the core, deal with that and those not necessarily healthy substituipns kind of fall away...not completely tho. Its a game of self awareness, management and maintenance. My OA and CODA issues are burdonsome because we gotta eat and being social animals, we gotta deal with others. But the seed, the reasons are pretty similar despite whatever we use to "medicate."
Keep up the great work!
Excellent and I appreciate your sharing

Hi Dr R ! Here is your Chocolate Chia ! This is great for breakfast, a break at work or desert , tweak out how sweet or chocolatey you like the taste- I tend to use in less honey and more vanilla as I like bitter sweet dark chocolate.
This makes around 2 servings
2 generous tablespoons of cocoa powder- not drinking chocolate - raw , organic whatever you have at home.
1-2 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup - or less to suit your sweet tooth
1-2 teaspoon of natural vanilla extract
1 cup of milk - I like unsweetened oat milk - dairy or plant milk
1/4 cup of Chia seeds - black or white, I use the black as they blend into the chocolate for a nice look.
Serve with coconut yoghurt, banana, strawberries, raspberries or any other fruits you like or tinned fruits if its winter , you can spread this in a shallow pie crust ,
top with fruit and yoghurt and call it desert.
This is a great breakfast treat or take on a hike, or as a quick snack between patients, more heathy than not and has a great chocolatey taste.
Hope you like it and its easy!
Love you work,
Lisale

I gave up sugar and processed refined carbs in my early twenties/early 30s.Now I will be turning 40 and people are very surprised when I tell them my age. They think I am in my late 20s. Wearing sun protection as well and avoiding the sun has benefitted me too. Stay away from sun and sugar.
Great job!
@@melanie.c25 Sun is not needed, D-vitamine supplements will do. And when you sunbath, you are not needed to expose your face to the sun you can expose other body parts too.
@@melanie.c25 Not much sun exposure is needed, only about 10-15 minutes 2-3 times a week. And then again you mustn't expose your face, neck etc to the sun. I also have been a sun avoider my whole life, summer is the most depressive season for me every year I wouldn't speak for everyone that it is needed for your mood, sleep, health etc. I avoided sun for my whole life and still I have no health issues, D-vitamine can be obtained from supplements.
From 2016 when I started helping manage my dad's life (due to his dementia)to 2023 when he died, was 7 years but I aged 15.
So sorry and for your loss. It indeed takes a toll
All natural sunscreens are very effective and don't cause cancer. Babyganics is my favorite and works great.
So many things you could//should do. But IMO, you also should enjoy life and not stress too much about every little thing that is aging you. Great video, Dr. Rajani ❤

I began the “ lazy “ keto diet as a start.
Its day 3 and I already see an improvement ❤️
I began with lazy keto because I wanted to become acclimated to this new life style, and ease off sugar , so not to become frustrated and give up.
I am excited to see more results and I began estriol cream as well.
Thank you for these videos!
Where can I find lazy keto?
if u feel constipation on it, take fiber pills (can be bought in pharmacy)
magnesium also helps
@@taniaguerrant5280
It can be looked up online.
I used collagen for a yr and cut my sugar back a couple years ago and it helped so much, especially my skin. I love putting it in smoothies. Oh no, yogurt and bread I eat a lot of. Or I did.
Since going carnivore, all skin issues, allergies have resolved. Skin looks so much better!
Good for you, I can’t do carnivore I get gout symptoms same with Keto.

I agree with the collard greens😁
Some inaccuracies in this advice...fruit are fine, in moderation.
I love Indian food, but it has a lot of rice. Bad carb.
@MotoM0nk i did not say no fruits. I say minimize the consumption meaning eating small amount. Same apply to fruit juice. Just drink small amount.

Pen that I’m currently purging my skin of actives this week so I can use it in a few days (must go 7 days without active ingredients before micro needling!)
Yikes this is long winded as usual but honestly- my skin looked like a spotted frog I had a terrible melasma mask and hyperpigmentation from scars abd bad sunspots, saggy jowls, eleven and marionette lines - and just by changing my diet and getting rid of sugar I’ve noticed a huge difference in both my waistline and my skin health.

Yes aloe is very good for your skin ,stimulates cologen
Great - I’m a 66-year-old type one diabetic and allergic to collagen powder. 😢😢😢 keeping blood sugars consistent the way he is describing some people do is simply impossible. Any other diabetics out there?
These are all healthy versions of granola/snack bars: CORE Foods Plant-Based Bars, Dark Chocolate Cherry, Creation Nation No Bake Protein Bar Mix (make your own variations), Kate's Real Food Organic Energy Bars, Blake's Seed Based Snack Bar, Made Good Chocolate Drizzled Granola Bars. Listed best tasting first! I think all of these are 9g of sugar or less. As for protein bars, 1stPhorm has the best, hands down!
Great. All essentials in one video.
Glad it was helpful! Hopefully not too long.
I’m still waiting for Dr Rajani to one day “I’m 97 years old this month so trust me, this works!”
Does anyone have any clue his age? I'm curious to know.
@@MindYourOwn777 he’s a 1400 yr old vampire he just has REALLY good skin care habits 🤣
Just kidding - love you Dr R 💙
He does admit to get medical treatments for his skin and practices good diet and health habits.
Thank you so much! This is so incredibly helpful! Is honey okay to use in place of white sugar?
Thanks for your always informative, professionals videos.
My pleasure! Thanks @bebaia51
Thanks for the video. On the topic of supplements, Carnosine also prevents the accumulation of AGEs.
Loved this video. Super informative. I wish I slept better though ☹️
Watch my video on limitless energy
Great tips, Dr. Rajani. I'm trying to eat heathier too. Looking forward to shopping at the farmer's market as things warm up here in the midwest.
All the best thanks for watching

Amazing video ! Appreciated
Thank you for your video. Always enlightening ❤❤❤❤
I appreciate that and hopefully a few of the tips resonate. Have an amazing Sunday!!
Compounds found in Lion’s Mane may indirectly influence the pineal gland, prompting it to produce and release melatonin. This interaction may help regulate the body’s natural circadian rhythm.
Oh lord , Doc ! I’m legit HOOKED on white chocolate Reese’s Cups ! They’re like crack to me ! 🤣. But I’m looking rather ragged . I know I need to let em go . But I’d rather dive into a pool filled with nothing but them and gobble my way out . 😂. Surprisingly, I only weigh 102 pounds. So watching what u eat causes me to get too skinny . Thanks for this video! It hits home how I need to stop these delicious treats and give me a bit more motivation 😊
I like to drink matcha to reduce glycation
Sugar turns my hair gray, even fruit, sweet potatoes, etc.
Thank you for the whole information Dr. very honest
My pleasure
So informative! Thank you for sharing doctor.🙏🏾❤️
Very welcome
Great information! Thank you for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Your videos are the best! Thank you for the additional research information you offer. Sometimes , as in this video, the science scares me. This 71 y/o gal avoided the sun for long term exposure, but lived on sugar for several years, so this video kinda got me worried. Too bad I don't live in Oregon. I'd love to do personal consults with you.
Dont worry ! I too grew up on sugar. Never too late to change. Small changes make a big difference. Enjoy the day.
I am interested in the collagen peptides & melatonin
I love Mosh bars! I found them thanks to your friend Heather Speert ❤
Thanks @amyhaft5413 I ll check them out.
Paleo lifestyle is the key 😊
Looking great Dr. R! 😍😍
Thank you kindly
I think low carb can be super aging too as it raises stress hormones. I have a friend who went keto a little over ten years ago, and she has aged sooo fast since then, whereas before, when mostly whole food plant based, I thought she was aging slowly, and she looked younger than her age-now she looks much older than her age. :(
Her keto diet was also whole food based-not junk keto at all.
Agreed. I saw it in a younger woman after several years of keto and carnivore. 😢
Did she lose alot of weight, too?
For me I follow Mediterranean diet. You can see from my posts on my community. It works best for me and many of my patients.
Its been10 years , ofc she aged lool if not keto she would look even worse probably

Hi! No, she was already pretty thin. :)
Hello doctor!!❤
I wanna ask how about an organic fresh sheep yogurt from the farm.. it doesn’t have any additives but the sugar content of the jar is 8g.. which is natural from the sheep milk…. Is it still damaging too?! Or just the added sugar they add to yogurts.?? How about fresh coconut water? I make a smoothie with my protein powder and coconut meat and fresh coconut water…. Is that sugar from coconut water still damaging too?!?! Especially when combined with coconut meat which is fat ? It’s confusing…..
Thank you so much for sharing your vast knowledge❤
Thank You @josierashe4240. Stay Tuned I appreciate you being part of the channel.
I have a little sugar here n there, but I’ve had accelerated aging by going sugar free and omni diet. I’m looking at old ppl that don’t have any sugar due to diabetes and their skin hair is suffering so who knows how much I can handle. Blood glucose test was fine a couple of yrs ago
.... This is confusing as sugar is a skin killer...
@@ChantelStays ikr, sugar paranoia is everywhere where I live. But I’m 51 and recently got questioning at the border cuz nobody believed my passport so I won’t give up my sweet tooth! Lol
That’s one reason alcoholics look so old.high sugar in the alcohol.BTW I liked “I look good today”
YESSSS!! Enjoy
