I had a herniated disk about 15 years ago. The pain was so intense I would scream in agony as I CRAWLED to the bathroom. The doctor said I would need surgery. After hearing the horror stories from other co-workers who HAD the surgery I decided against it. I had remembered an elderly lady I knew who had hand pain from arthritis who took gelatin (I had read an article about it in the 1990's and told her about it). She had lived in pain for decades until she took the gelatin. After about 2 or 3 weeks of hydrolyzed Knox gelatin (at the time you could buy a months supply at the grocery store for about $15, but they stopped selling it years ago) the back pain disappeared. But it’s only a part of healing the other parts are leaving out process food. Process food is whatever has a label with weird ingredients you can’t pronounce. You have to avoid carbs. No veggies. You have inflammation. Your body with your condition would heal totally going all animal products beef, butter, eggs, chicken, w/ o counting calories but sufficient fat. Eat some butter for cravings. You’ll loose tons of wt but you may have to buy new clothes like me. The great thing is you’ll be tight. Your skin won’t sag like other people even thin ppl especially vegans have wrinkle skin dangling.
@@Choucoune85Stay off carbs go full vegan you’ll love it! And it works big time! Take iodine drops every day! Iodine makes you we put the fat and pesticides and Kees cancer at bay and also flushes the excess fluoride which is bad for your memory. You’ll sleep better by taking the iodine before bedtime with your collagen. You get your rem sleep and you’ll feel really good the next day. Iodine has turned my life around. That and going carnivore. I used to eat organic broccoli but I stopped bc it destroys my iodine I need for healthy gums which is why I started consuming it. I had gum disease and the care was expensive big time and no insurance to cover it. My gums bled when I brushed my teeth. Now I used baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and as or ox acid and healed myself from a very expensive procedure. But the iodine is the king.
Thank you, Dr Berg! You are the best. Here are my tips: I buy Agar Agar (seaweed Vegan gelatin) and toss some in my dog stews.or I bloom Beef Gelatin (Amazon) and add it to hot dog stew after cooking. Ditto for myself. I add Agar or Gelatin to most of my curries, stews, soups, along with seaweed when I have it. I make desserts like Chocolate Jello which is milk, cream, cocoa, monkfruit extract, beef gelatin. I buy Bulk Powder bags of Glycine, Magnesium Glycinate, Potassium, Vit C, MSM and take 1/3 tsp once or twice a day mixed in water, lemon juice, AC vinegar, and a bit of MDH Pani Puri Masala which makes a great cooling drink. The Glycine adds a sweet note, which offsets the vinegar and lemon. Pani Puri Masala is an Indian savory spice mix that is salt, rock salt, green mango powder (tartness) pepper, cumin, and other spices. All safe and healthy. It is an amazing tangy taste great mixed in water or plain yoghurt for an instant salad. I also make homemade Indian Kulfi ice cream with gelatin, evaporated milk (from scratch), cream, cardamom powder, monkfruit, a dash of raw honey, ground almonds, crushed raw cashews and raw pistachios. Gelatin is optional here. How you flavor it is up to you - mango pulp, almond flavor, rose flavor, saffron, lychee, coconut, etc. Mix and freeze in small cups, no ice cream maker needed. All good ways to eat gelatin.
So does agar agar help do you think? I am vegetarian and have lost a lot of hair from the front but don't feel happy about taking gelatin. Any suggestions? Biotin doesn't really work for growing hair, maybe stops it falling
Collagen without a doubt is marvelous for skin health, relieves joint pain, prevents bone loss, promotes heart and gut health, and strengthens hair and nails. Vitamin C is crucial in the formation of collagen.

When I make chicken for dinner, I cook in the smallest baking dish for the quality of chicken I am making. I only use chicken with skin. When it is done, I poor the juice/fat in a smallish container and put it in fridge. What happens is the fat creates a crust, and below it is a wonderful flavored (the seasoning I put on the chicken) gelatin! I eat some the fat with it --- wonderful!! I guess it would be considered an aspic. This episode got me thinking that making jello --- gelatin with a good broth instead of water and stevia would be more enjoyable. That’s bc you’re consuming grains. Get grains out of your diet. Everybody is unique you can’t eat grains your body is letting you know that. And no rice, no bread, no wheat, no corn anything! I just bought a kilo of gelatine powder online. I plan to make jelly (jello) puddings for myself without adding sugar. Maybe chocolate pudding. Orange jelly. Lemon jelly. I guess it could be added to hot soup, as well. I'm just going to add a teaspoon a day to start with. Gelatin and Gelatine are the same thing by the way, just a different spelling. I'm hoping it's going to strengthen my hair, and have other benefits. It could be added to other instant puddings as well. Just put a teaspoon of gelatin in a bowl with a little boiling water and mix til dissolved. Then add more water and sprinkle in the pudding powder. Make sure there's no maltodextrin in the pudding powder ingredients when buying it.
BONE BROTH: Go to the local butcher to ask for chicken feet and include them with the bird bones while cooking the broth; cook the broth for 48-72 hours so that the bones become mushy; remove the feet; enjoy the broth (chicken or turkey)
Will depend upon YOUR local butcher, these days chicken feet are removed at the source, cleaned, processed and sold into the Asian Food Market. Long gone are the days a Butcher will process an entire animal on-site resulting is wasted animal protein off-cuts to be "thrown-away", most of the unsold but consumable parts will become brown biscuit and tinned jelly pet-food.
Adding ACV to the bones helps extract and break them down more. A pressure cooker really speeds it up and you can drain off the broth and feed the cooled bones to your dog or cat because the bones literally become mush thanks to the ACV (apple cider vinegar).
I thought Collagen was a fad, especially the general media at the time was saying “you’ll look years younger”. I didn’t care about trying to look younger so I never thought anymore about it. Well now I’m a big fan of Collagen. I am a 63 year old woman. I have been experiencing TERRIBLE joint and Sciatica pains for several months now. I have been searching for answers and treatments for my chronic pains. Well one of the things that I noticed in my “research” was how beneficial Collagen is for joint and nerve pain. I started taking Collagen, a liquid supplement of 10,000 mg daily, along with some Vitamin C. I felt ALMOST immediately some alleviation of the pains. By no means is the chronic pain gone but to have even the slightest REPRIEVE from the pain is glorious. ❤ Now it’s only been two weeks of starting Collagen daily, so I hope to have more relief from the chronic pain (inflammation?).🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞❤😊
Your experience is similar to what has been seen in research. Collagen appears to have a novel anti-inflammatory effect that can result in quick reduction of arthritis symptoms. You might look into UC-II & eggshell membrane also.
Hi! I'm 63 too and just started Collagen last week. I also need Vitamin C - I don't tolerate well, the acidity! You're taking how much Vitamin C? Thank you in advance 😊
@@lisabendlin4810 There are "non-acidic" forms of vitamin C, like calcium ascorbate. Ester-C is one. Also the body can only absorb about 250mg of C per dose, unless you're taking a time-release C.

Glycine is very popular in Russia, but people mainly use it to reduce stress (usually during exams or other stressful periods). 50 tablets of 100g Glycine cost around 0.5 USD. They contain the amino acid glycine, which takes an active part in the metabolic processes of nervous and muscle tissue. The drug strengthens the immune system, helps maintain a positive attitude, reduces stress levels and improves sleep."
How much homemade Jello should we consume each day? I just bought beef gelatin and have been making jello with my electrolytes and enjoy it so much…How much is a good amount
@@RG-lg3mj Oh most certainly!!! I make 4 cups of finished gelatin at a time…..I make 4 cups of electrolytes in whatever flavour you like, then I take about 1 cups worth of the drink and put in a sauce pan and sprinkle 2 Tablespoons of unflavoured gelatine. I mix and stir while it warms up slightly. And once it has mixed/dissolved , I add back to the electrolyte and pour into a pan and place in the fridge to set. I cook cow feet for at least 10-12 hours and then the broth becomes jelly when I put it in the fridge in food containers. It is good to add some garlic, spices and meat to it. I will always be a farmer, where my life started. We butchered hogs. I had the job of evenly cutting the lard for rendering. Oh my. Once that HOT kettle of melted lard was brought in, we had the small squeeze machine that the rinds and liquid lard went into and squeezed the rinds which were left from the cooking. Not greasy, just lesser taste in the mouth. 😊Happy. Happy everyone.

I guess they just do this because it's cheap and also not very allergenic like dairy desserts would be.
it is because it dissolves and is easy to eat and digest and tastes good.

Here are my tips:
I buy Agar Agar (seaweed Vegan gelatin) and toss some in my dog stews.or
I bloom Beef Gelatin (Amazon) and add it to hot dog stew after cooking.
Thanks
All the bulk powders thay u mentioned r separate or all-in 1 ? Also which brand of beef gelatin n monk fruit do u use ?
So does agar agar help do you think? I am vegetarian and have lost a lot of hair from the front but don't feel happy about taking gelatin. Any suggestions? Biotin doesn't really work for growing hair, maybe stops it falling

Not “ vegetable” oil there no vegetable in vegetable oil. It’s car oil. Only eat products from animals on land, eat butter big time! No intermiten fasting. You fast when you sleep. Iodine and collagen makes you sleepy use it at night. You won’t loose wt if you can’t sleep at least 6 hrs and if you can’t poop every day. Sugar keeps you up at night.

No, don't do this, bone broth from animal fed animal feed like soy, corn, etc. are high in glyphosate, stay away from bones when possible
@@NomadWalker-io3neYea, would have to be organic.

Now it’s only been two weeks of starting Collagen daily, so I hope to have more relief from the chronic pain (inflammation?).🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞❤😊
What Vitamin C have you been taking?xx
Your experience is similar to what has been seen in research. Collagen appears to have a novel anti-inflammatory effect that can result in quick reduction of arthritis symptoms. You might look into UC-II & eggshell membrane also.
Hi! I'm 63 too and just started Collagen last week.
I also need Vitamin C - I don't tolerate well, the acidity!

I mix and stir while it warms up slightly. And once it has mixed/dissolved , I add back to the electrolyte and pour into a pan and place in the fridge to set. Once that HOT kettle of melted lard was brought in, we had the small squeeze machine that the rinds and liquid lard went into and squeezed the rinds which were left from the cooking.
