Microneedling with high-quality exosomes done three times (spaced 4 weeks apart each) can boost collagen and elastin by more than 300% each. Using a lightweight laser such as Advatx and microneedling pen (same session) will open pores for 3+ hours (so very sensitive to bacteria - need for strong hygiene procedures). Never too late, however, you can’t only rely on skincare/skin procedures. You need to make lifestyle changes for optimal collagen synthesis. Sleep 8+ hours consistently. Collagen is synthesised during sleep. Eating a healthy diet, full of vegetables and fruit. Collagen synthesis and overall skin health relies on various micronutrients; vitamin C, vitamin E, folate, zinc, copper, magnesium, etc. Also, make sure you’re getting enough protein and consume a collagen peptides supplement. Collagen is made up of various amino acids, like glycine and proline. Collagen peptides contain these in abundance. The body cannot synthesis fresh collagen without these amino acids.
Wish you had immediately said what collagen banking was. Apparently at 61 I'm too old, but I definitely haven't lost 30% in the first 5 years of menopause. I am often told I look 10-15 years youngers younger than my actual age. Had a radical hysterectomy 7 or 8 years ago.

I love you so so much doc! I have one question, I have Dr. Pen and I'm curious if it has any under eye attachments? Maybe you are using a head for this in your clinic. Super big hugs!
Last week I had PhilArt Eyes (Polynucleotides) done and getting another round done in 2 weeks. This is in addition to daily Collagen supplements, red light mask and prp. Will report back in a few months!
@@liviusss I got it done just around the eye area but it's too early to see any results, I was told about two months to notice anything of significance. I usually get PRP under the eyes and I'm just trying this to see how it compares.
@@CP2468 It would be very interesring to see what are the results compared to PRP (BTW do you get good results with PRP? I didn't try anything so far, so now I'm just trying to decide). I wish Dr. Rajani would make a video on all these different biostimulating treatments...
@@liviusss I think he has definitely got some videos on prp and I think he has updated his preference to prf! Prf isn't available where I am but I have to say PRP completely rescued my damaged under eye. I had been using lash growth serums like a lunatic, twice a day for about a year and I couldn't understand why my undereye area seemed to go from normal to really obviously tired looking and thin out of nowhere. I subsequently heard about the connection between that and an ingredient in the lash growth serums and stopped using them before embarking on a mission to restore the area that was damaged. I started PRP, avoiding eye creams (most are way too heavy- I just use grapeseed oil around my eyes now) taking collagen supplements and using red light therapy panels/masks. I definitely noticed the biggest difference after the 3rd PRP session. To give an idea of the results, I don't look in the mirror and think "wow, my undereye looks incredible" , I look in the mirror and don't see any problem with the undereye area. And after about 18 months I started noticing that I should probably go back and get another round done.
Hi doc, I enjoy watching your videos! Can you please tell us more about EZGEL in the face in a new video? What can you change in the face with it? Can it be used in the forehead? Can it be used to raise the nose bridge and lift the nose tip? How many sessions are needed to get the result that stays for a while ? Would like more information if possible.. A before and after video would be even better …
I got ultherapy when I was 39 and had started to notice the slightest of jowling. I thought it didn’t do anything at all and was extremely painful so I decided not to do it again in the future. But what I noticed was that the jowling didn’t get worse as I went through my 40’s - it was kept at bay. I started doing radio frequency at 47 when I noticed the jowling coming back. I do wish I would have done ultherapy again at about 45 or even 47. I do think it works but more in the collagen banking way. Now that I’m older I plan to do it again. I feel it is better than radio frequency which can reduce your facial fat.
Thanks @duchessdelarue5983. I very much appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. It helps all of us learn. I d say more people complain of facial fat loss with Ultherapy and HIFU than RF by far and you can see this on the support groups. Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy and RF Radiofrequency energy to produce heat. It is the depth, duration and temperature (these 3 things) that determines fat loss. A huge variable is the person doing the procedure. And we never know what your face would look like without anything, without the ulthera and without the RF. Thus there is no control. I m a fan of RF home devices with safety mechanisms built in. There is one in Korea thats HIFU at home but not yet in USA. Keep us updated and congrats on your success. You can see my ulthera treatment here: ua-cam.com/video/0NKG8b426h4/v-deo.htmlsi=rmAtVW2UeJ9U5VBP
I recently turned 60. I've been using powdered collagen for about 5 yrs for my joints. I've been on tretinoin for 3 yrs. I get regular microneedling and the thing where they burn your face, done by my esthetician regularly the past 6 months. I can see improvement but it is expensive and somewhat painful. I'm scared of peels. I also use my red light mask every morning and use spf 50 daily. Recently we were in Hawaii and i noticed my crows feet really stood out in pics. I don't think they look that bad in person. Why is that? Am i kidding myself that they aren't that bad?
Why just do collagen banking when you can do both collagen and keratin banking? Skinlyte has a soap that is loaded not only with collagen but also keratin peptides. It is called Hair & Whole Body Bar. It is fast absorbed because it has an enhanced binding enhancement technology which produces a water molecule that hydrates skin and hair. It repairs, rebuilds and strengthens hair and skin. I got it at Amazon and I am impressed with new benefits I discover every time I use it. I noticed many improvements in my hair, skin and nails. What I like best about it is that it's all natural and without harmful chemicals such as synthetic dyes, fragrance, SLS or preservatives.
Yes and he never talks about it. Nothing regenerates without copper. The body needs vitamin C magnesium AND copper to grow skin bones etc. Look up FIQ 3% copper serum and lotion. It's an excellent product! Minimal ingredients. No scent. Research indicates that collagen powder is not good for you (just like protein powder). You're better off making your own organic grassfed bone broth with a combination of beef bones and chicken bones. People are getting these procedures but if the body doesn't have the building blocks to make collagen it's a waste of time and money.

Can you please tell us more about
EZGEL in the face in a new video?
What can you change in the face with it?
Can it be used in the forehead?
Can it be used to raise the nose bridge and lift the nose tip?
How many sessions are needed to get the result that stays for a while ?
Would like more information if possible..
A before and after video would be even better …
Yes, soon I have one coming
Hi dr. Rajani. Pls help with suggestions after months of chemotherapy how to get my skin back without harmful ingredients.
You can see my ulthera treatment here:

Doc you are a real gem. Please let me know how can I purchase your products from India. Thanks in advance
You didn’t mentioned Silica supplements. I took for 3 months and my nails seem to be very strong now. I did not took any powder collagen.
Love your research- thanks so much! 😊
I so appreciate that @adelefreeman5567. Stay tuned and have a super day.
As usual
Great content
You don’t disappoint 🙏
Thank you 😊
I thank you
Dr Rajani
are you referring to your glow pads when you talk about peel pads 🙏🌺
Mine and other companies make their versions also
Thank you Dr Rajani.
Thanks for another wonderful video! Would you recommend microneedling for skin of colour too?
Yes but you need the correct slip
Bravo thank you!
Thank you too!
Is LED mask safe for people who had cancer previously?
I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I just didn’t know what it was called 😂
Isn't ghk-cu really good for collagen?
Yes and he never talks about it. Nothing regenerates without copper. The body needs vitamin C magnesium AND copper to grow skin bones etc. Look up FIQ 3% copper serum and lotion. It's an excellent product! Minimal ingredients. No scent. Research indicates that collagen powder is not good for you (just like protein powder). You're better off making your own organic grassfed bone broth with a combination of beef bones and chicken bones. People are getting these procedures but if the body doesn't have the building blocks to make collagen it's a waste of time and money.
What is the best IPL treatment for rosacea? There are so many lasers out there so it is very confusing.
Ipl. Its intense pulsed light
Hi ❤ Does HRT do anything to slow the 30% decline in collagen and elastin at menopause? And if you had a big decline at the onset of menopause is it too late to get a noticeable improvement? Thank you for always being so thorough and offering natural options and remedies 😅
Yes it's a great help for those who are candidates
Loving all your videos
Thank you and i hope they are helpful.
Thank you for your thoughtful, knowledgeable videos, I told all my family and friends about you!
When will the Dr. Rajani sun umbrellas come out?! Could save lives too!
Quick question do you believe gua sha massage can increase collagen as well. I see it on some websites?
This is part of my routine it helps with other things, just curious if it can help build collagen as well.
Thanks, much gratitude to you
Yes stay tuned. I have some fun gua sha coming and I m working with experts in China where it is popularized.
Is Sculptra better than fillers for labial folds and marionnete lines?
For many yes
Estrogen cream on face 👍🏻
Is RF cancer causing ?
How much (grams a day) of powder collagen supplementation would you recommend a day ? This was not discussed in your video
Many thanks
Microneedling break my capilares and drys out my skin
Really enjoyed the video ❤😊😊
Thank you so much
How about bone broth? The cartilages of the cows n chickens and the skin of chicken? Can thry boost collagen too?
I’d like to know about this, too.
Yes it can. You need to drink enough of it every day.
Yes. It's better than collagen powder. Make sure the bones are grassfed. I use beef bones and chicken feet.
Oh I heard that not because it’s not hydrolysed so it won’t be a bioavailable collagen. But it’s great for your gut.
How long do you recommend using the red light mask after a face peel ?
Which mask? You need to make sure it has the correct wavelengths
Hi Dr. Rajani, what are your thoughts on biostimulators like Ellanse, and how do they compare with Sculptra?
Congratulations on the book BTW! 🎉
It's good I like some of them and PDRN
Peels give me PIH … glycolic doesn’t work for me at all . And I never use tap water to clean my skin
Are office treatments like laser genisis or Sandro dual good for collagen banking ?
Is there a risk of cancer with prf growth factors??
What do you think of vt ridle ?
Drinking milk helps skin elasticity. I drink it before bed to help me sleep. My skin looks better too. Milk has b12 that helps cell renewal.
What kind of milk. Low fat full fat, ?? I know milk has lots of sugar
@@elainelaguna3132Are you doing keto? Otherwise the small amount in milk shouldn't hurt.
Doc, can retinol or microneedeling for instance exhaust fibroblasts over time?
Amazing Dr! Ty! 🙏❤
Any time!
Dr.rajani- can you use Sculptra for your forehead? If not, what do you suggest if I don’t want Botox?
Very interesting you ask. I m in Korea and it's very popular here. But in America no. The risks are not tolerated in USA
Dr Rajani, I love your channel and how thorough you are. Can you direct me on what to do or what Dr I need to see. I’ve been told I can’t do HRT due to my family he of mom having breast cancer 3 times.ERPR so they took my off HRT. 61 yrs old and can tell my skin looks different as well as sagging.
Yes no doubt there are risks there. I don't unfortunately have a specific doc in your area.
@@rajanimdskincare Thank you so much for getting back with me so quickly. I learn so much from you. I’ve told my bestie and she and her daughter have benefited so much from you. Have a great day.

Are peel pads good for sensitive skin n is is good for deep wrinkles can I use it in my skin care
I once tried that micro-needling about 6 years ago and I actually got some staph infection on my face from it. So there's no way I'm going to try that again.😮
Yeaj i ruined my face for 2 yaers
That means dirty things used. I've done it for years and never had a problem
@@mumshorts Thanks for your comment. I'm interested in trying microneedling but the idea of getting infections is very worrying. What system do you use and where do you buy your equipment? I'm in NZ. Thank you.
I’m terrified to try it. I have quite nice skin now and too scared to risk it 😩
Wow that's awful. Sorry to hear that. I've never had an issue thank God. I wash my skin well first. Sterilized everything.
Maybe you harbour staph already. Some people do.
I have hyperpigmentation and melasma on my forehead, will the mask affect this?
Lots of vitamin c (tablets) in addition to what you’re doing
Sorry if I missed this, but what if it’s too late to bank? The clinical treatments probably won’t work, will these at-home treatments help? Or are we up a creek 😅
Hello Dr Rajani, does your collagen supplement have a fishy taste / odor? Also, what are your thoughts on Verisol collagen?
It does not. Enjoy!!
❤ u r awesome

Can Vitamine C and retinol be used together? Do they make sensitivity possibly when they are used together?
Will compounded hormone cream help retain collagen?
What is the best collagen boosting treatment for a 41 year old with good skin?
I am 33 and have just done my second round of sculptra a month ago and I already see great improvements. I want to thank you Dr Rajani because before watching your videos I was schedule for tear trough filler and I am pretty sure I would have regretted it big time. I needed more support on my temples and cheek and boosting collagen. People around me are noticing that I’m glowing but no one would suspect it was achieved through injectables as it looks very natural.
Only issue I have right now is that there is a pretty hard nodule that has formed around the jawline that is a bit visible. What do you recommend I do for that?
Excellent!
Thank you!
What abt hyperpigmentation after microneedling esp in those with thin skin.
Did you get hyperpigmentation after microneedling
