Another great video Chris! You should do a tutorial videos on “how to sound checked for local bands”. I’m sure you could bring very useful advices. I see the same rooky mistakes every time I do sound for local bands haha.
I did a soundcheck for the local in this video. Got some tutorials in the works next time I’m here.
@@chrishammillaudio sorry if i wasn’t clear. I meant a tutorial or advice video for beginner bands on what they’re expected to do during sound check ; kind of a do’s and don’t list.
For example, “when sound checking vocals, sing at the same level you would sing during your show” like you had to tell them twice in that video haha :)

When I saw Rose Funnel live it was easily the worst perfomance ive ever heard in my entire life by a significant margin, mostly because of the vocals...
It’s normally not my cup of tea, but the crowd loved it and that’s all that matters.
