Absolutely brilliant. With regards from Anglesey north wales. UK
im getting old, but i tell you what, when you bring live music to people,in the most unexpected places it makes them smile, laugh, and forget all the shit that goes on for them few minutes. It really is a gift to play an instrument, thankyou so much to people who can like these who do and do just for the sheer fun and expression of being able to do it.wish i could ,Paul, tottenham, london
I felt that...
@@imgrimmschdriller4416 I'm still feeling it...
And free too That's awesome!!
You can! It's never too late to play music!
paul thorne If you're still following this thread, check out Leo Pellegrino (the sax player) at the BBC Proms 2017. He also played with Too Many Zooz. All great to watch. It lifts the soul
The band kids when the teacher leaves the room:
The Band teacher could only wish!
Every time @my school😂💀
yeah pretty much
Funny story, my highschool band got invited to play at Orchestra Hall (MN). Our band instructor left us to warm up a bit, and he came back to us BLARING FUNKYTOWN AS LOUD AS WE COULD. Teach said it was kinda poor form on our part, but dammit, that space was FIRE for playing funkytown.
This is what I do my friend plays alto while I play baritone
Girls locker room: OMG I think Zach likes you
Boys locker room:
Fucking underrated bruhh
Jeez, stop giving away our secrets!! Now the girls are gonna try and peep?!
Thats not what happens in girls locker room 😂😂✌🏼✨
I mean, I might?
...
I want them to play at my funeral. Send me to heaven the right way.
They do that in New Orleans, who's to say it can't be done elsewhere?
You call it a sax band, but as a former band member, this is when the wind, brass, and percussion sections make an after school band and jam out like no one's watching.
I need to find some people in my band to form a band with. I know a few people but no percussionists. Aside from that, the people I know want to form a rock band, in which the trombone and tenor sax (usually) have no place.
@MemeChicken119 I think it's I Feel Good made famous by Mr James Brown.😊
@Memechicken I think there's some "Take me to funky town" in there as well.
@MemeChicken119 the first track is Funky Town by Lipps Inc
@Memechicken119
James Brown's horn section was ran by a man named Maceo Parker. In the 70s he also played with Parliament Funkadelic.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: the band geeks we all made fun of in high school.
**laughs in band geek**

@@coacobird what do you play?
Flute, you?

Hey NFL! This would be a better halftime Super Bowl entertainment than anything we’ve seen in the last 20 years!
Preach, Jeff, preach!
They aren't together anymore. The baritone sax and the trumpet guy are now in Too Many Zooz toomanyzooz.com/
@@jayalexander7804 No, Josh Gawel, (The trumpet player) is still with Lucky chops.
Nah, not enough half naked women here - cause that's what we need for feminism!

I wish more people did this kind of thing. It's so awesome
This is what you get when you mix band geeks, free time, and red bull. And I'm loving every minute of it!

The lady living her best life dancing to this is what it's all about. Awesome, wholesome and free 👏
She’s awesome!!! How can so many other people not at least tap their toes?
As a trumpet (and a pianist) in 8th grade, this is awesome to see. I’m literally in a rabbit hole of this stuff just cuz I tried to find the iconic sax battle vid
And still people like this don't get the fame they deserve.
2 million views...
Leo P is pretty famous...
Deserve? I mean.. would you go to a concert of 4 people doing basically meme music
Ariel why yes I would
Its not about getting the world to know you, its about doing what you love out of heart for the strangers that surround you.

I just imagine their highschool band teacher in the audience in awe
If I were a teacher, I’d be amazed and super proud.
I always love to see people succeed and get better on what they love.
Duuuude! That was pure fire!
Everyone partying while the drummer is dying inside.
And believe me he is. There is nothing like four on the floor with offbeats.
It seems like it should be easy but it's so painful
Why ? I don't get it sorry
@@DM-lv7tl it's just really easy to get off time with that beat, it requires more coordination than most 4/4 beats
@@cabnbeeschurgrWow Thanks for the insight! I didn't know that
@@DM-lv7tl In my opinion it isn't even that hard.
It is just extremely boring and kinda straining on the leg.
But hard enough that you can't just daydream.
It is ok, but not if everyone else around you is having fun
Absolute definition of "Bringing it". They need to be on tour, or America's got talent, or something. This was absurdly brilliant
Far too good for reality TV
They are pretty famous for a band 😂 (lucky chops)
They already famous and tour internationally. That’s Too Many Zoos.
@@Gino20202 I think it might actually be a different band with a couple of the same members as Too Many Zoos.
@@mattman237 it’s Lucky Chops. The only member of Too Many Zooz here is Leo P
Dancing like that and playing an instrument where you have to exhale into it is very impressive
Even more respect for it being a bari sax
Years ago I tried to get a sound--any sound, out of a trumpet. Couldn't do it. Amazing.
"Iron Lung" sax playing.
I was never a band geek, but i could definitely be one because i absolutely love street performing. That and I'm going to learn how to play the saxophone from my guy friend.
I just invested 6 minutes to my mental health ; )
Heard that!
Rofl!
Really tho!!!
Minuets? This is jazz, not classical lol
Soulfur ok it’s fixed I hope it makes your life a little better. 317 saw the same thing but didn’t say a thing. Then there is you, the smart ass that can’t just let things be. Enjoy the music my friend and don’t sweat the small stuff in life.

I love this band so much! I’ve always wanted to see them in person! Too Many Zooz or Lucky Chops- either way- friggin amazing.
The band is Lucky Chops btw. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what they do. Check em out, great fan interaction
They gave a workshop/concert at a local community college. My jazz director took us. Awesome time, especially seeing our lead trombone get some praise from the guys.

The sousaphone wasn’t flashy but it was needed. Round of applause for all the tuba/sousaphone players out there
As a band nerd myself, extra props for how necessary the background players are, because without ya, there is no foundation for the awesomeness to be built on.
I appreciate the props, mr joey

How do they play a part tho?
I cannot be tired to watch this for

Tailor: How tight do you want your jeans?
Dancing saxophone guy: Yes
All this talent and you focus on another man’s jeans? Oh Mattie you have so much to learn boy....
That’s how musicians hit their high notes. By wearing tight pants. Michael Jackson went as far as squeezing his crotch to hit the high notes.

I was one of these guys :). Nerds rule. Band+jazzband+guitar band+orchestra. Miss those days. The fact that all those instruments play in a different key. They are all playing by ear to match key and tone
