Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I only did this with my dad a couple times before school started. I am NOT an Amazon employee therefore, a lot of questions you guys ask me I do not know the answers to. I try my best to answer all of your guys's questions to the best of my ability. I don't do this anymore and this was never my full time job. I made this video hoping it will help you guys out! Thank you for watching and I am glad this helped some people!
Watched your video before doing my first block today and it was SOOOOO helpful!! Especially the explanation of the yellow stickers, saved me sooo much time! Thank you!!!
I really liked your video. No other driver went through the process of how to leave the package and what to do after. Very helpful. Keep doing more videos.
Thank you for this. I've been searching on how will you know which package to deliver first and in what order. Other videos left that out, you didn't. Great job!
i did amazon flex in tampa fl from 2017-2019, when they just started. If I had 3 delivery stops. I always stack my first packages on the passenger floor seat and my other on the passenger seat or backseat. The reason i did that. It helped me delivered those packages less then a min or less. I also bought a folded dolly from walmart that really helped. Those things i've done always got me scheduled like 4-6 times a month.I made $300 in two days and made over $100 in a day with tips. Doing two days of 8hr shifts. Get's u that $$$. Now i actually work for a few yrs now with amazon
You have very nice and gentle voice, thank you so much. Your video help me to understand how Amazon flex works. I will try to start here in Alberta Edmonton.
Also I've been a ups pvd driver and I can tell you, their packaging system is way more organized. We deliver packages in the same neighborhoods but we get more like usually a hundred in a day
I was so nervous about doing my first batch, but this helped so much! I was wondering on average how many packages you normally deliver in one block. Also are the deliveries typically in the same area/close by?
I have been working at amazon for a year now. I did the PFSD(PrimeFlexSameDay) shift so many times, that I never knew the yellow stick told you if it was stop one and so on. I always knew the yellow sticker told me which route the package goes on, and would also show me the TBA(tracking number) to make sure it matches the TBA that’s on the shipping label. The more I know! I will be on the lookout whenever I have the chance to do the PFSD shift again. That’s pretty dope.
Thanks for your video helps so much im doing this too with ny husband as a driver! The only problem is i live in downtown seattle the warehouse that we have to pick up the packages are in everret so far double back and forth!
I'll jump on the comment pile. I went looking for directions that Amazon didn't provide about sorting packages. All I got were videos about complaints or how much money people made. This was very informative, thank you for this!
Hi. I did my first block last week. It was supposed to start at 5:30 pm to 10:00 and I had 42 packages..but by the time they gave me the packages and I took off it was past 5:30. I love working at a fast pace environment, but it was hard to see the home addresses and some houses didn’t even had a house number so I took longer than expectedly. At 10:00 I still had 10 packages left, so I called customer service and they advised me to finish the block.. which I did. had 42 packages, 40 were delivered, I returned 2 and 10 were late. Do you normally deliver them on time? My experience was frustrating, but I want to give it another try. So my question is.. if it happens again( hope not) and I can’t finish on time.. should I return the packages and not finish or continue even after my time is up ..? Thank you 🙏🏻
I had the same problem my first week it will get easier. after a month The GPS is actually pretty good it literally won't let you drop the package off at the wrong address. Sometimes in rural areas there is no address so I follow the blue dot to the black delivery arrow and leave the package without ever seeing and address.
Can you help me get started? Im in San Antonio, i drove to the location and there was no where to drive through and pick up packages. I went to two locations. No one had a clue what i was talking about.
Question ??? You have someone helping you out who drives and gets off at the warehouse right?? Is that allowed ?? I ask because I take my husband but he's not allowed to get off or help??? Would you know why ??
Hi! I would like to know who took the block, you or your father? I heard that if you took the block, you should the one who is driving and bedsides that , I also heard that the person who take the block is the one that can get off the car and touch the package. Please let me know if it is true or not. Thank you
Does Amazon flex or other Amazon… offers you to deliver large boxes? As example, instead of delivering 20-40 packages I just want delivery one package, I don’t mind driving far, I just don’t want keep stoping in a lot of places as You do.
I’m going to try this. I love Amazon and have open availability every other week as a homeschooling mom and week on week off schedules my boys go to their dads every other week. I think this could work.
I watched this yesterday on my first day cus I didn’t know what to do and I only watched the first couple minutes cus my shift started lol I wish I would had watched the night before because I had 50 packages and I spent a lot of time looking for what I was dropping off first and ugh it was a hassle
how can i choose a warehouse, or it can appear when they give an order? i can see a lot of offers , mainly food delivery , i dont know where to go , pls. help
