    Thank you for taking the time to show us the process. Recording and doing your job all at the same time is difficult and time consuming, so I appreciate your efforts. Great video. Have you ever experienced aggressive animals on your route? Or any difficulties trying to drop off packages on the front porch, i.e. locked fences?

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  2 роки тому +2

      Glad it was helpful! I have had animals loose while delivering but thankfully, none were aggressive or came towards me while out. I have had one house that did not have a gate code (huge mansion house) and the owners weren't home (tried calling, amazon stepped in) and unfortunately I had to take it back to the warehouse. Others say to drop it off over their fence but I do not like to do that as I would not like that done to my packages! Hope this helps!!

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  2 роки тому +1

      I couldn't say how much you would make as I live in NC so I'm sure the rates for blocks are different. It also depends on which route you take (packages/food). Food deliveries you typically make a decent amount extra due to tips - although, tips aren't a guarantee! I would start with one block a day so that way you aren't rushed or overwhelmed and you can take your time if need be!

    Hello, good video. I will be starting Flex soon. My dilemma is I have 4 or more Amazon warehouses. I was able to put in the code for each to locate them...except the main warehouse Vut1. SLC UT. There are 102 blocks available and all at this mysterious location except 1 at Dut3. Very few Whole Foods come through. I don't know what the difference is between warehouses. Any suggestions out there? Thanks

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  2 роки тому

      Thank you! The warehouses are packages and they send you to different towns/areas depending on what is near them. The Whole Foods/Prime Now/Fresh are groceries. I would pick a warehouse that is near/around towns that you like or are more comfortable with as that is what you will be delivering near. You can always just pick different warehouses to try them all out and see which you like best! :) Good Luck!

    Question how do you know which packages to do first ?? Or does that matter.like do they automatically show up what is first when you scan them from the distribution center

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  2 роки тому +1

      You know the order of packages depending on the route. They have the route assigned to deliver in order. When you’re scanning the packages to load in the vehicle, you can try to organize them (if you have a specific method). I arrange them by size and the house #. That way when I get to the stops, I know where to grab since it tells me the size of package/address

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  4 роки тому

      Great question! You do have to scan each individual package prior to leaving the distribution center. You scan a QR code to start which uploads your route and the packages that go along with it. You then scan each package to ensure that every package on your route is accounted for! Hope this helps!!

    How much was that 3 hour block for? The Amazon gps is absolute trash for me! It lags alllllllllll the time
    After each delivery I spend, up to a minute or longer, waiting for the GPS to kick in! The GPS takes more time than any other aspect of the job. Also you get some really bad routes sometimes. Addresses can be down country rocky roads and gravel alleys. I prefer Amazon fresh, or 3 hour package blocks. Anything over 3 hours usually runs past your block. 4 hours blocks take 4.5 to 5 hours in my experience, and I hustle, So I know these 4 blocks are overloaded. Also, haha, I pull up in driveways.

    What happens if you are delivering to a gated community? Are there instructions or a code for how to get in the gate? If you are unable to deliver a package do you have to take it back to the warehouse?

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  4 роки тому +1

      There are usually instructions to get inside the gate. If not, you have the ability to call/text the customer for how to get in. There are codes that people have given in the facebook Amazon group but I have yet to try any (haven't needed to) If all else fails and you can't deliver the package, you do have to return it to the warehouse. Try everything you can before returning the package back to the warehouse!

    Hi thank for ur helpful video, how much u can make weekly ?

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  4 роки тому

      Thank you for your question! It really depends on the route you choose (time, groceries, packages, etc!) Also, it depends on how many routes you do weekly. I do this as a side hustle so I make a few hundred a week from this! Hope this helps!

    • @adivaonadime

      A cargo van would def be a beast at this job. You could also do a longer route! I'm not sure how much they cost but if you are looking to do this long term, investing in a van like that would be ideal

    • @dmac3927
      @dmac3927 4 роки тому

      I completed my first shift, horrible day, my route was 20 minutes away from warehouse , 34 packages with 7 packages out of my area, bunch of gated communities with no gate code, returned 10 packages a hour and a half after my shift that took 20 minutes to get back to warehouse. My shift was 3 hours that turned into almost 5.

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  4 роки тому +1

      Oh my goodness! I have had routes previously that take me 20-30 minutes to arrive to from the warehouse :/ The stops that do not have gate codes can possibly be found if you call support or attempt to contact the customer! Also, if you go over your shift, you can either call support to get an adjustment or send an email and they will adjust your pay. I have never had to do that but know many that have gone over and received adjusted pay for their extended time. Hope this helps and best of luck!!

    How I get the vest

  • @Abuadam0723
    @Abuadam0723 4 роки тому

    hello how do you sort the packages in your car

    • @adivaonadime
      @adivaonadime  4 роки тому

      It varies depending on how many boxes! Usually I keep an ikea bag in the car and put all the envelopes in that. I sort those by house number "1234" in order from smallest to largest. Keep that in the passenger seat. Then the remaining boxes I sort them in the backseat alphabetically. Left side is A-J and right side K-Z. Large boxes go in the trunk. I switch it up depending on the route and amount of packages but that is an easy way to do it! No right or wrong way! You will find what works for you! :)
