      I wanna do Lyft or Uber but I’m just gonna say hello when passengers get in and that’s it. I don’t like talking. Besides everyone is on their phone.

      @@themachine8009 Actually, a lot of the time people do like to talk. I when I did it I would just greet them, ask them a basic question and if they seemed like they'd talk I'd talk with them. If they put in their headphones I left them alone. You can just tell when people don't want to interact. If you can be interesting and cordial it goes a long way to garnering tips as well as it's nice to pass the time.

    Can you see where you'll be driving, before you begin your block with Amazon Flex? Because I heard that in my area, it's beginning to get more and more common that Amazon is making drivers drives 60-100 miles a day because they keep on adding new counties, and yes I did say counties.

    I tried amazon flex for the first time a few days ago, and it's horrible lol... its rare to get any blocks, and if I do they're all for $18/hr. I'm not complaining about the wage, it's more of the amount of work vs the wage. I make the same or even more with grubhub or doordash with a lot less effort. I've made up to $100 in a 4 hour period with grubhub, doesn't get better than that.

    • @MaceValor
      @MaceValor  5 років тому +1

      Yeah flex can be pretty shitty especially with getting blocks, as for the food delivery, $100 in four hours might sound like a lot but how much of that goes back to gas

    • @Blossom-i3h
      @Blossom-i3h 5 років тому +2

      The Abraham HD i used to do Uber eats and still do occasionally, but the money is never for sure. Some nights I’ll make lots of money but some nights I’ll make nothing. Atleast with amazon flex you get a for sure wage.

      I've answered this question in detail in another comment - long story short every package has a sticker with a number in their order of delivery, for example 1-70. Larger numbers go towards the back, lower numbers up front - that way the closest package is the one for your next stop

      There’s a lot to unpack here. First off, the sticker was there when I bought the truck. Second, you won’t subscribe just because of a sticker? All I care about is people finding some value out of my videos but the fact that all because of a Trump sticker on the back of my truck has convinced you not to sub is kinda crazy. I hope you did find something worth taking away from this video outside of getting triggered over a sticker.

      At the start when he showed you the map you'll notice that all the icons are numbered. That's the order you will deliver the parcels in for your block. The labels also have this identification number printed on them.
      So for example, if you have 47 parcels to deliver that day, you're going to want to put 30 - 47 in the boot, 10 - 30 in the back seats and 1 - 10 in the front seat (if you have a regular car). Just a quick example to explain how the drops work, you'll end up coming up with your own routine.

    Nice tutorial but I'll bet you got let go after posting this video. My god you are taking phoyos of the customers labels with information & showing the doors of their houses also!! You derelict!! We were instructed to place the package label facing away or down for privacy, & u dont photo the labels for the internet. Cant believe this hasmt heen removed by now. But yeah dude, ur organized and fast!!

    • @warrenpeas
      @warrenpeas 5 років тому

      you are right. they also do not allow pictures of addresses on houses. He broke pretty much every rule they teach you in the Amazon delivery driver training classes except he actually rang the doorbell and hid some packages which most people don't do, and we were told Amazon uses a company to randomly follow drivers to monitor them.

    Hi please answer this haha I really hope you see this, but do you think they would allow you to do this with your kids, like if I had them in the back seat, I know it'd be hard for me to do and no I wouldn't leave them by themselves, I just need to know please if they would allow me, have you ever seen someone else with their kids at one of these Amazon warehouses, or can you please ask the next time you go if that'd be possible, I don't have anyone to watch my kids but I need to make some money very desperately please, thank you thank you so much!

    • @MaceValor
      @MaceValor  5 років тому

      So that is a very odd slippery slope. Technically you are not aloud to have anyone else with you in the warehouse. It's for safety and liability reasons, however as an independent contractor you can, technically, have anyone you want ride along with you and Amazon cannot deny that as you are not an employee. I have seen plenty of people in the warehouse loading up boxes with their kids in the car. I advise against it 100% but I understand your situation. Gotta do what you gotta do but just know that you can potentially terminated for doing so since they can deny people coming into their warehouse that are not contracted to work with them

      Yes you can have your child or an adult with you. They won't be covered in case of an accident though. You must have enough space for all packages.
