    One of the reasons I like going to the daytona beach warehouse is because all the packages have a sticker on them that says in plain english what their stop # is. It's a lot easier to sort that way. Though I don't always go by the order Amazon wants. Sometimes that route-determining algorithm is drunk!

    I put packages 1-20 in my back seat right to left. The rest are in my trunk right to left also. I had 43 packages my first time. Finished a 4 hr block in exactly 3.5 hrs and made 98 dollars. Not bad!!!

    Good evening Toni! Hey I just went back active driving for Flex and live in Bradenton (Howdy neighbor). I asked for Sarasota but I'm not having any luck catching an early morning shift like Seffner has. Does Sarasota have early morning blocks or do I need to request to be switched to the Tampa Bay region? I'm East Bradenton and the Seffner location is about a 10 min longer drive from my house compared to the Sarasota center.

    • @GigMom
      @GigMom  Рік тому +1

      That is awesome! As far as I know, Deffner would be the closest sub same day (offers early and). They change the zones up because I used to see Sarasota and sometimes I would go there but when they separated the zones, I don’t see it anymore so you will probably have to switch to Tampa in order to go to Seffner.

    *QUESTION for anybody who can legitimately help me regarding being an Amazon delivery driver : Today was my first day and it went absolutely horrible. I don't want to get into it but when the app has you make a stop for a delivery and there's also a few more deliveries on that same street name do you deliver each package then drive to the next address on that street and repeat the process or do you deliver each package by just walking? Might sound like a dumb question but on the phone they gave me the GPS is fucking horrendous. So hard to see exactly where the other stops are located on same streets or even a street over... It had me walk a package to a house that should of been closer to where I stopped because of the app said it was but it had me walking at least a block or so carrying a heavy package...* 😡😒

    • @nickyminaj19
      @nickyminaj19 3 роки тому +3

      If at all possible, I drive to every stop, even if they are close together. The only time I walk is if I am in the city and delivering to apartments buildings where the is no public parking. If you have to walk, bring a big tote bag with you so you can put your packages in it and arent trying to carry them all. Also, the in app navigation can be pretty terrible so if I get confused, I type the address into google maps, it usually always gets me to the right spot. Hope that helps some!

    Hi GigMom I really enjoy watching you hustle on these platforms... However, watching this one with Amazon Flex you stated you delivered 32 packages but never said how much pay? Also, tax time do gig working have you paying taxes?

    • @GigMom
      @GigMom  3 роки тому +3

      With logistics, they do it hourly by block since you never know what route you’ll get. For this block it was a 3 hr block that starts off at $54($18/hr) BUT I got it on promo for $63($21/hr). I got a different block the other day that was a 3 1/2hr block & only got 22pkgs. Most of the stops are on the same street or Neighbohood so it’s super easy. The pay varies according to how badly they need ppl. Once I got paid $120 for 3hr block!

      @GigMom  3 роки тому +4

      We receive 1099-NEC(non employee compensation) forms at the end of the year, & pay taxes based on that, but With everything I keep track of, I itemize my deductions & have never had to pay.

    I'm doing my first flex tomorrow and for some reason I'm so nervous. I read online at this location that everyone is ghetto but I also read they are nice so I guess it's up to each person's interpretation,(altho it is in a ghetto area). I'm doing a 5 hr block for good money so I'm worried about the workload...i hope I can organize it in a way that works like you did, thanks for the info...oh..and hey, where did you get the vest? I want something like that!

    • @GigMom
      @GigMom  3 роки тому +1

      They give you the vests at the warehouse, so ask someone when you’re there. You will be fine, just worry about you when you’re there, no one else. Try to keep the packages in order by numbers, like 300’s in one area, 200’s in another & so on, IF too can. Sometimes, when its 4 numbers, you go by the last 2. Don’t be nervous, just pace yourself. Don’t do anything different than what the app tells you, first stop to last, & you will be fine. Fill up before you go & show up 15 minutes early. Good Luck!

      @@GigMom Thanks, I saw a video that explained some about the numbers, so I think it will help...apparently, most, but not all the warehouses are actually numbering them in the order of the deliveries and if it has more than one package, the number next to it will change, like 1st order will say 1-(1) and then if it has more than one it will say 1-(2), at least that's how I understood it.

    Hi Toni. My only question (believe it or not, lol) is: Did you go the exact route order the app/map laid out for you? I have seen video after video of flexes changing the route order bcuz it will have you zig sagging and going back to an area you have already been. That's the part that stresses me...if I follow their order, would I finish in time. My first drive with Flex was logistics and it was a nightmare for me and very stressful ( bcuz of the navigation).
