The only thing that's depressing me is that one nutritionist on youtube says certain foods are bad for you and the other nutritionist says those foods are good for you. You all need to get together and figure a way to stop confusing normal people that want answers.

I am a 92 year old man who requires no daily medication. I always have oats and an egg for breakfast.

I have been eating oatmeal for almost 60 years and I am healthy.

  • @MikeCraven

My mother is 91 and eats oatmeal everyday so did her mother who lived to her 90’s as well.

The key to being healthy is to ignore what you read in the media and see on UA-cam and just eat what you like in moderation. Clearly, don't eat the same things day in day out. We require balance, but the body is generally tolerant to most things.

My Grandgrandma lived till age of 101, she ate oats and potatoes all her life. She also ate a lot of eggs, cottage cheese, sauerkraut and buttermilk. Those last three she was doing by herself at home. She thin all her life, till her last days she also had a shot of Advocate almost everyday🙂

Thanks for making me beyond depressed. According to you pretty much everything we eat is toxic and killing us. You say the things other Dr's say are good to eat are bad. So what I take away from all this is it's impossible to live and I give up. 😢

You've recommended millet as a healthy alternative to oatmeal, but I just watched another video and the doctor said that millet is really bad for your thyroid. I'm really having a hard time finding foods that are healthy to eat. It seems there is something bad in everything. So, if breakfast cereal is bad, anything with sugar or made with flower is bad, in fact, all processed foods are bad, too much fruit is bad, bacon and eggs are bad, millet is bad, and now, oatmeal is bad, but maybe not as bad as the other things that I've mentioned. We have to eat something so considering the alternatives I guess oatmeal isn't so bad. What do you think?

To date I have questioned the advice of alleged professionals many times. Most of those have dropped dead. Oatmeal killed both of my grand parents, but they were a hundred years old before it finally did them in. All of my friends that loved lots of eggs and dead animals were gone in their 50s and 60s. I'm 75 and poisoning myself every day with oatmeal, blue berry's, ground Flax seed, Pumpkin seed, Chia seeds, Walnuts, Etc. But one thing I notice is I'm not jammed up all the time like my dead friends were.

Take everything this man says with a grain of salt. I eat a massive bowl of oats every day and I’m healthy as a horse. I’ve got a flat stomach, tons of energy, feel great and sleep great.

  • @carlyndolphin

I eat organic rolled oats every day and I’m slim. My blood tests came back good too. Oats are good for you.

  • @smoozi1678

Oatmeal made with hot water only and without added sugar is a great food for both gut and heart health. I've been eating it for a long time and my gut has never been healthier

  • @tubingtonite

Oatmeal soaked overnight unrefridgerated in vanilla almond milk (not the one minute) is one of the best foods I can eat for my stomach. I have eaten this for many years and am not overweight and almost never have any cavities. I buy 25 pd bags of organic oatmeal.
