      I'd love to hear where you would place Crickets as a protein source. Especially if you farmed them yourself. As a person who plans to start a small farm in the mere future and plans to utilize Eggs, Crickets and Salmon from Annual Salmon Runs as my primary full protein sources.

    Thanks, Dr. Gundry, for letting us all know that vegetables have tons of toxins and anti-nutrients! I had the worst gut issues for 15 years diagnosed with IBS. The dr. kept saying eat more fiber. But the worse I felt. I quit eating all fruits and veggies and all my symptoms disappeared! I now eat meat, seafood and eggs and feel like a new woman. Every time I have tried adding veggies back into my diet, I get the same symptoms and feel horrible. At 76, I finally feel good.

      They are not farmed raised because they are small, have a short lifespan and taste and smell not great, to put it mildly. They are really high in omega-3 while being very low in mercury (because of their short lifespan). All this would've make the sardines the best food in the list had it been included.

      @AI-vs7sm 7 місяців тому +4

      Well, this should be easy! Plants are all carbs ,so, those are out, fruits have fructose, worse than carbs,, grains turn into glucose, don't need any extra of that, because your liver makes all the glucose that your body needs, any extra has to be removed using elevated insulin levels, but there are legumes, no, those have glucose in them along with the protein! So, yeah, I guess there aren't any veggies or fruit that don't load you up with extra glucose/ fructose. Lets think this thru. What did you eat before you were born? You were on a Adkins diet! After you were born, you were breast fed, protein and fats! Carnivore diet! When you got to solid foods, what did you start on? Gerbers Green Beans? Uh-oh! I think that's where you got off track! Your body makes its own glucose, just supply the protein and fats, you will be fine!

    • @AI-vs7sm
      @AI-vs7sm 7 місяців тому +3

      But, again, keto/carnivore doesn't raise insulin to elevated levels on a constant regimen! Vegan tries to blame keto for clogging up cells with fats, but, fats were there first! Fats are preferred fuel, glucose is supplied by the liver, not from eating carbs in excess,( hint: ANY carbs are excess), the reason cells burn glucose is to get it out of the bloodstream before it damages organs or arteries! Consider this: most of the vegan sites have interviewed Dr Alan Goldhamer, of True North Clinics, where they routinely water and salt fast patients for thirty, forty days, eating NO carbs, fruits,grains,or legumes, surviving only on their own fat stores, ! How can they then claim that carbs are " ESSENTIAL ?

I bought on sales then cut into portions and froze, used slow-cooker to tenderize the tougher cuts. Saved carcasses and used same cooker to make bone broths.

    Lectins in tofu is very minimal unless you eat it raw. It’s very healthy and contains complete proteins. It’s a staple here in Asia.

    Context: Crohn's Disease/Ileitis
    I'm trying to reintroduce beans to my diet by pressure cooking them then lacto-fermenting them.
    Pastured Eggs and tuna are my staples. Trying to minimize animal protein, though, thus the beans.
    If I can tolerate beans I'll go back to being vegan. I was flaring every two weeks and I think it had something to do with lectins, and candida.

    • @LongDefiant

      @@ChappySinclair The reason I hadn't gone with squash was because I was flaring on ANY sugar/carb/complex carb. That's what led me to the candida issue. I've been taking oregano oil, MCT oil, and grapefruit seed extract to get that moving and it's much better.
      I'll grab a butternut squash and pressure cook it and see if it's compatible again.
      The absolute best thing for me has been monthly water fasting. I've fasted for 3 days and 5 days so far. I'm due for another and I want to do 5 days again.
      I like Wellbee's SCD approach. I hadn't been able to handle any dairy though (probably the candida again).

    It's all about the money. I to looked at plant based and was upset they all have bad oils. They don't care about your health just getting the cost lower so more people can buy it. Also you cant find all the good foods I see on UA-cam here, I think there's a Whole Foods 1.5 hr away but they only go to richer areas I guess because they are more money? I eat farm raised salmon, can chickpeas and tons of chicken wing but if you looked at the way I use to eat you would agree this is better.

    Would be nice to just see an episode on the S category. I think there is such a big looming confusion also over oxalate foods vs lectins and which is truly more harmful and to be concerned about. My understanding is lectins are far less troublesome than compared to high oxalate foods which when taken into consideration some of the foods are ones you suggest eating.

    adding spiral noodles to gulash is very popular here in austria, but i will not add that carb junk. the carbs in beans are already enough. maybe potatoes for the higher satiation.

    • @GundryMDYT
      @GundryMDYT  4 місяці тому +1

      Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to us. The "right time of the year for oysters" refers to the peak season for oysters, when they are at their freshest and most flavorful. This can vary depending on the type of oysters and where they are sourced from. Generally, oysters are considered to be in season during the colder months from September to April. We hope this helps clarify things. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
