Thanks, Dr. Gundry, for letting us all know that vegetables have tons of toxins and anti-nutrients! I had the worst gut issues for 15 years diagnosed with IBS. The dr. kept saying eat more fiber. But the worse I felt. I quit eating all fruits and veggies and all my symptoms disappeared! I now eat meat, seafood and eggs and feel like a new woman. Every time I have tried adding veggies back into my diet, I get the same symptoms and feel horrible. At 76, I finally feel good.
Same here! In less than 3 weeks of eliminating all plant matter, 65 years of gut distress disappeared. I feel fabulous for the first time in my life. Whenever I eat more then a few tablespoons of plant matter, my gut hurts again.

It would be helpful if you make a list of veggies that we can eat everyday, veggies we can eat once in a week and veggies we can eat only once in a month.iam Naji from beirut lebanon
Well, this should be easy! Plants are all carbs ,so, those are out, fruits have fructose, worse than carbs,, grains turn into glucose, don't need any extra of that, because your liver makes all the glucose that your body needs, any extra has to be removed using elevated insulin levels, but there are legumes, no, those have glucose in them along with the protein! So, yeah, I guess there aren't any veggies or fruit that don't load you up with extra glucose/ fructose. Lets think this thru. What did you eat before you were born? You were on a Adkins diet! After you were born, you were breast fed, protein and fats! Carnivore diet! When you got to solid foods, what did you start on? Gerbers Green Beans? Uh-oh! I think that's where you got off track! Your body makes its own glucose, just supply the protein and fats, you will be fine!
But, again, keto/carnivore doesn't raise insulin to elevated levels on a constant regimen! Vegan tries to blame keto for clogging up cells with fats, but, fats were there first! Fats are preferred fuel, glucose is supplied by the liver, not from eating carbs in excess,( hint: ANY carbs are excess), the reason cells burn glucose is to get it out of the bloodstream before it damages organs or arteries! Consider this: most of the vegan sites have interviewed Dr Alan Goldhamer, of True North Clinics, where they routinely water and salt fast patients for thirty, forty days, eating NO carbs, fruits, grains,or legumes, surviving only on their own fat stores, ! How can they then claim that carbs are " ESSENTIAL ?

I eat farm raised salmon, can chickpeas and tons of chicken wing but if you looked at the way I use to eat you would agree this is better.
Would be nice to just see an episode on the S category. I think there is such a big looming confusion also over oxalate foods vs lectins and which is truly more harmful and to be concerned about. My understanding is lectins are far less troublesome than compared to high oxalate foods which when taken into consideration some of the foods are ones you suggest eating.
How do you know if salmon is wild caught? Will the employees in seafood departments know? We do shrimp, salmon, and crab. I want to make sure it's all ok. We also do canned light tuna.
Hi there! We recommend looking at the print on the packaging. Usually that is where it will be listed if it is wild caught or farmed. We hope that helps!
@@GundryMDYT We buy ours fresh, so there is not a label indicating that information on the packaging.
I enjoy all your videos and follow your lectin free diet. I enjoy my new diet! By the way, is soy lecithin high in lectins?
Hello there, thank you for your support! We're so happy to hear you're enjoying the lectin-free diet. Soy lecithin does not contain lectins!
My wife and I have been on Dr G diet for 5 years. My wife recenly fell her cuts and bruses healed fast could the diet have helped?
Alaska salmon, sardines ! What about organic buffalo ?
i make gulash today and add beans to the beef. and this will cook for hours to render out the collagen from the beef.
adding spiral noodles to gulash is very popular here in austria, but i will not add that carb junk. the carbs in beans are already enough. maybe potatoes for the higher satiation.
That sounds delicious! 🙌
Hey, Dr. Gundry. Can you make a video addressing stevia and if it has an impact on fertility?
We love this question! Adding it now to our list to possibly cover in a future UA-cam video. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more exciting videos!
Love ❤ Dr Gundry! This was the best video. Thank you so much and I will be sharing ❤️❤️❤️

What do you think of tea especially herbalife which is so popular
All types of tea are Gundry approved!
he doesn't distinguish between what type of cinammon you should eat. Ceylon (Sri Lanka) is the good one.
Thank you doctor. I like to hear your detailed
Wow 😲 I learned a lot thanks 👍 from Florida ❤️🌞
Thank you! 🙌
I do not listen to any other doctor. In my opinion, he is the best ever. I follow his lectin free diet and I love the new way of eating and my body does not react to everything I ate as it did before
what about sardines in olive oil? are they healthy and a good source of proteins?
Thank you so much for your question. You can find Dr. Gundry's list of approved foods here: bit.ly/46qpXOx Thank you!
This adds to my sudden urge to move back to the country, on a lake, with chickens like in the 80s. As long as it has a long driveway with defensive positions. 😊
Best protein source is grass-fed beef
Learned something new about beans and chick peas. Does the information about canned light tuna also apply to wild canned salmon, sardines, and mackerel?
Great question! Yes, wild canned salmon, sardines, and mackerel are great sources of protein similar to tuna. 🙌
This is better than tv 😊
We're so happy to hear you're loving our videos!

I'm surprised that there weren't more superfoods. I thought sockeye salmon and sardines should have been on that list.
Need more of these videos
Thank you for your interest!
I wonder if some of the bottom tiers items are higher in EU/Asia. I guess they are, but probably not by that much.
6:20 Could you please explain "right time of the year for oyster" ??
Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to us. The "right time of the year for oysters" refers to the peak season for oysters, when they are at their freshest and most flavorful. This can vary depending on the type of oysters and where they are sourced from. Generally, oysters are considered to be in season during the colder months from September to April. We hope this helps clarify things. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
Love this ❤
