I personally consider eggs from my backyard chickens to be a Super Food 🙂. This was fun, thank you!
Eggs are S
I would think my mother raising chickens in the backyard was disgusting. But now I miss her, her wisdom and the eggs.
Canned wild Alaskan salmon!!!!
That was awesome….but you forgot to include sardines 🙀
I don't give sardines to my cat suffering from kidney disease because of its high phosphorus content.
What about sardines? Small fish, low mercury, plenty of omega 3.
Highest amounts of purine. If you have autoimmune syndrome like gout, avoid.
Sardines are Dr. Gundry approved! 🙌
I don't give sardines to my cat suffering from kidney disease because of its high phosphorus content.
you forgot sardines
I love sardines, natto, and all goat/ sheep yogurts and cheese!
Thanks, Dr. Gundry, for letting us all know that vegetables have tons of toxins and anti-nutrients! I had the worst gut issues for 15 years diagnosed with IBS. The dr. kept saying eat more fiber. But the worse I felt. I quit eating all fruits and veggies and all my symptoms disappeared! I now eat meat, seafood and eggs and feel like a new woman. Every time I have tried adding veggies back into my diet, I get the same symptoms and feel horrible. At 76, I finally feel good.
Pasture raised eggs, grass fed beef & organs, sardines & mushrooms for the win 💪
Beans and legumes are just fine better for your health and better for the planet! Gundy’s theories are based on the products he sells!
You might want to take sardines off the list. High purine rich food.
Most European canned products are pressure-cooked/pasteurized.
I really enjoy this format! Top shelf production, thank you! My superfood choice is canned lemon peppered sardines!
Love this! Dear Dr. Gundry, what about sourdoughbread, ‚Sauerteigbrot‘ It is very popular in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
love the video format it's fun to watch and learn something new everyday! thanks Dr. G!
We're so thrilled to hear you've been loving our videos! Thank you for watching. 🙏
Thank you Dr. Guidry! Excellent content!🎉
Thank you for your feedback and support! 🙌
Really valuable as I try to coach my clients! Though I like your detailed science and the way you usually present, this reaches a different audience and was FUN! I reaffirms what I have been teaching and doing for my own family and health for the past 18 years. Thank you for showing up for humanity in the nick of time!
Wonderful video Dr G! Very helpful.
What I like the best about your videos, aside from the great information, is that you give us alternatives. Thank you.
We appreciate your feedback! Thank you! 🙌
Really helpful Dr Gundry !!! Love the way you presented it too !! Thank You !!
Thank you for your support!
@@GundryMDYT I am new to your channel and I am fully impressed with your knowledge. I have a question that someone else has posed however which is the issue of oxalates. I have had one kidney stone in my life and it was pure hell. The urologist said it may have been the culmination of many years or it may have been my diet and of course recommended water and lemon juice which is really hard to remember. Since learning about oxalates, even with my horses pasture I am wondering what you're feelings are since most of the veggies that you recommend are high in oxalates
Thank you for any feedback. I am a new follower and am hoping to change my lifestyle for the better
Love this kind of episode !!!! Thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you for your support! 🙏
Thank you for the great information Dr. Gundry! Tuna (no mercury) and mushroom (always cooked) are the best super foods!
These are my favorites! 😍
Thank you for your comment! 🙌
it was time an angel like you would come among us all.thank you
Great information! Thank you!
Hemp protein powder, sardines in water (canned), nutritional yeast.
May gosh. This was an awesome video. I didn’t know about temph and quorn.
thanks Dr. Gundry!!!! Gonna clear out my stocks of canned foods now!!!
Dr. Gundry,
Please explain WHY sardines in water are to be preferred over sardines in olive oil?
because often times te olive oil will be rancid so it will go from a good fat to a bad fat and another thing is that you dont know where the sourcing of the olive oil comes from and when you dont often times it will be cut with seed oils and why are these bad? they oxidize cholesterol molecules
its hard to say because sardines in water could be sourced straight from the tap
Dr. Gundry - thank you again for an excellent and insightful video...
Thank you for your feedback! 🙌
Dr., why would you recommend Quorn when most of their products contain sugar / chemicals (Calcium Chloride - Calcium Acetate), and maltodextrin (also sugar.)
He did say that he only recommends the two specific products he showed in the video. Not the brand and everything it offers.
@@twochainsandrollies Have you looked at their ingredients as well?
Thank you so much for all of this important information!! Please don’t stop!!❤
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
Thank you Dr.Gundry for the knowledge…i eat all kinds of meat but in moderation.❤
Love this bloke, so down to Earth.
love the new GUT format!, ditch the background music please.
This Dr is the best. He’s helped me get back energy that I was missing since childhood. I sleep better now, I feel better than I did in my 30’s. I highly recommend implementing his advice and take Total restore product for daily routine indefinitely. You have to allow time to heal your body.
We're so thrilled to hear Dr. Gundry's advice and supplements have been helping you on your health journey! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. 🙏
Love ❤ Dr Gundry! This was the best video. Thank you so much and I will be sharing ❤️❤️❤️

Hi! We're sorry to hear you feel this way. We appreciate your feedback and will do our best to make changes in the future.
I would add full fat organic milk kefir. Also canned smoked herring in water. Maybe smoked Korean oysters in olive oil.

I enjoy all your videos and follow your lectin free diet. I enjoy my new diet! By the way, is soy lecithin high in lectins?
Hello there, thank you for your support! We're so happy to hear you're enjoying the lectin-free diet. Soy lecithin does not contain lectins!
I do not listen to any other doctor. In my opinion, he is the best ever. I follow his lectin free diet and I love the new way of eating and my body does not react to everything I ate as it did before
Would be nice to just see an episode on the S category. I think there is such a big looming confusion also over oxalate foods vs lectins and which is truly more harmful and to be concerned about. My understanding is lectins are far less troublesome than compared to high oxalate foods which when taken into consideration some of the foods are ones you suggest eating.
Alaska salmon, sardines ! What about organic buffalo ?
What about canned Sardines in olive oil?
Hi there! Thank you so much for your question. You can find Dr. Gundry's list of approved foods here: bit.ly/46qpXOx Thank you!

I thought for sure sardines would be on this list!
I love sauteing mushrooms with garlic. I was wondering if you could tell me if chocho protein powder is safe to consume. I mix it in a glass of unsweetened coconut milk.
Hi there! Thank you for your question. Gundry MD cannot speak on brands we are not affiliated with. We recommend reaching out to their personal team for more information. Thank you!
@@GundryMDYT hi. I understand but chocho is not a name brand. It is a nut that is made into a powder that has a high protein concentration. Just want to verify that the Protein of the chocho nut is not lect based. Thank you.

Good morning sir; I am Edward and I would like your opinion on meal replacement products such as KaChava as I take that as my breakfast every morning. I know you have a horse in the race with “greens“ but other than your product which I know about and I’ll probably purchase what is your opinion on “field of greens“ and “AG-1”?
Thank you very much for your expertise and honesty in your response!
Respectfully; Edward in Connecticut USA

Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon Smoked from Kroger or Whole Foods ,I eat 4oz every day
Dal/ lentils cooked in mud pot. Millets fermented and cooked.
How about other vegetables, spinach, artichokes, or are they too low in protein to be a useful source?
OMG really excelent information thank so much... But please subtitulada in spanish!!!!

Organic eggs, yogurt, and nuts all the way for me😁
I wonder if some of the bottom tiers items are higher in EU/Asia. I guess they are, but probably not by that much.
Hello Dr gundry I was wondering if you could take a look at Jennifer's 2.0 keto friendly bread I was wondering if this would be a good choice for gut health or a bad choice forgot People's health
Great question! We'll add this to our next FAQ series. Be sure to tune back in!
That is a shocking list. Almost all the animal proteins we commonly eat are off the table. What about smaller fish such as sardines and mackerel? I do soak overnight and pressure cook my beans, so are they an "A" food? I do love cooked mushrooms!
Sardines are great, at least as good as light tuna.
What about BISON, BUFFALO anf/or LAMB??? Aren’t bison/buffalo in particular required to feed ONLY on grass??? 14:23
Hello there! Yes, those animals should all be grass-fed. 🙏
Is green gram (moong) safe to eat without pressure cooking?

Years ago while working for Dieting company fresh 1st frozen 2nd canned last
So i guess canned is better? Totally i can not do any shellfish or red fish thank you canned Wild Planet Albacore Tuna seems to work now days? And i never could do beans of any kind growing up family ate bean everything 😢😂never could do milk nor yellow cheese 🧀
Context: Crohn's Disease/Ileitis
I'm trying to reintroduce beans to my diet by pressure cooking them then lacto-fermenting them.
Pastured Eggs and tuna are my staples. Trying to minimize animal protein, though, thus the beans.
If I can tolerate beans I'll go back to being vegan. I was flaring every two weeks and I think it had something to do with lectins, and candida.
Beans are terrible for crohns.
@@southern842 So is being an American without health insurance.
But I digress, what exactly makes them bad?
@LongDefiant Healthcare system isn't going to do anything for you anyway except dick your system up even more with drugs that don't work. Beans are complex carbohydrates and have insoluble fiber which are both indigestible. You need easy to digest soluble fiber foods like well cooked and pureed butternut squash, zucchini, pumpkin, carrots(boiled at least 3 hours) and blueberries(cook them down to a jam if necessary). Add eggs(not boiled as they Cause gas), venison, bison, beef, chicken, pork and turkey. The more wild the better. Cook meats broiled to start off. Then start cooking in olive oil and tallow when symptoms start to reside. Take natren or visbiome probiotics and candidase for candida.

@LongDefiant IF you do have to have plant protein which I wouldn't do until you're in full remission you can try red lentils. You can get good ones from Wellbees which has a specific "gas free soak" that they use. Even though lentils have a good amount of soluble fiber, the insoluble can't be cooked out like how carrots can be and the complex carbohydrates are still hard to break down. The benefits of getting protein from animal sources is that meat is completely digested in the small intestine and its nutrients are fully absorbed as that's where all our nutrition is absorbed. Plant foods like oats, beans, rice lentils etc are full of indigestible Carbohydrates and insoluble fiber that passes straight through the small intestine causing the pain, gas, bloating, diarrhea etc. Once it hits the colon most of the food hasn't been broken down by the small intestine giving no nutrients to your body and the colon just expels it as liquid or loose stools.
Fantastic ....I"ve been a fan of yours the past year , I no longer have inflamed liver due to your advice on 'sugars' ,lost weight, and have become so conscious of what I eat.....Thank you, thank you, thank you....I take every day your virgin oil, MCT, and Pro-bio 3,,,,,,
