I've got a 66 Bel Air 2 door post running a 454 here in New Zealand. I love looking at these car vids, would really like to move to the U.S. one day and start collecting some of these cars. Once they're gone they're gone so try to save them all you car people watching. Thanks for your vids mate they're awesome.

The Ford Galaxy fastback was a 67'. You walked past another 67' Ford Galaxy fastback also. This was the one & only year of that body style for Galaxy fastbacks. The Impala fastbacks were also 67's. What a Yard!!! Thank you again for the guided tour. What a selection of cars! Unbelievable that a public junk yard with this array of cars is still in existence! 67' is my favorite year for American cars. Lots of fine examples out there. Hope the yard stays open & in tact for years to come?

@@timmebruer5205 A typical video of someone that doesn't know what they are looking at and doesn't care. This is just a look at me, what I did load of bullshit. There were three money cars that are worthess now, (Because the drivetrains were removed.) but he didn't notice them. (70 to72 Mustangs.) but the only reason he did this was to say he did it was to show his face and run his mouth, which is the exact thing that most people don't want.

@@johnfranklin5277 Spend your money any way you want, however YOUR response to my comment has nothing at all to do with MY comment. My point was simple: one can drop a lot of coin in a project car and the finished car will only have limited value. My business is rescuing old muscle cars and I always caution my clients to consider the costs involved against the finished car.

IT'S getting to the point where IT'S more money to restore these rusty old cars than what they are worth when finished. IT'S a shame, the parts prices are now sky high. These cars will never be restored.

So you're talking about a $40,000 loss and a piece of American history?? Guess it depends on how long the buyers money is......and if it means that much to them to restore a vehicle to take such a loss.

The two fastback Chevrolets you called 1968 models are actually 67's. The car you thought was a Ford Torino is a Mustang 4th generation 1971/73. Nice tour. It's my version of Disneyland.

These piss me off. They show one tenth of what is there, they pass over the gems to look at crap and then show too much of what they do look at. Then there is the fact that show the names of them and license plates and then the niv tags. ALl of that is uselse especially the vin tags. They are useless after someone removes the drivetrains just like the car.

Back in my day when most of those cars hadn't even been built yet, a back seat was the hotel and it wasn't uncommon to see a girl with the back of her dress all bunched up in the back. People don't realize how easy it is to fix them up with all the new floor pans and sides, tops, firewalls.... you name it and they make it somewhere except for the firewall to A pillar bulk head and the serial no. that went on it. I got hold of a chevy tri years rig that had tree land across the windshield and the body was soft there anyway. I found a four door with mint top and firewall + pillar and hung it together and did the floor pan as well. Guy was telling me I was wasting welding gas. I put it all together ruff in two weeks an the next two weeks were just making it right. Between the two I had less than a hundred dollars cause the one had four speed in it so I had to buy that. One months time and five hundred in paint, welding materials and acetylene for my welder/torch. I put it up for sale in a out of town magazine and thought that would sell it but no bites so put it on market place and it sold for twice asking price in three days. Fifteen thousand dollars clear in the pocket... do you make that kind of money every month??????? I was also selling long and short block chevy and ford engines and making clear three thousand every month I was in business. They were top self engines with no short cuts and really ran good so they sold themselves. All told for one year and a about two months of just driving around looking in back yards for cars that could be towed away... some even paid to haul off. I had put in the bank forty five thousand an I hid the same amount in my back pocket. I worked when I wanted to, did what I wanted to and made more money than any job I ever had and wasn't as tired. I worked for my very wealthy brother who threw more money away than I will ever make as he owned rentals (houses) and so money wasn't a problem. I worked for him and he told me if I put a motor in his little 450 case dozer that he would give me fifteen hundred dollars.... I worked in my yard, shop, and in three days had old one out and new in running. Forth day was just cosmetics an when he saw it his mouth dropped. Thing was I knew him well and once running good, parked it out back for two an a half weeks. He thought I was still working on it so never bothered me. He paid me and no problem peeling off hundred dollar bills. After he had it for a while I asked him if he had more work and he said yes but it might be too much for me.... what is it... yada yada... his excavator needed help so did it and it paid even better but he caught me messing around and ask me if that was how I make money and I told him the truth... if done too soon then the pay goes down and all the others get more for same job that I do. So showed it to him now working and he paid me but no more work cause he wasn't going to pay a hundred dollars a hour for work/LOL. Its all in presentation.

I would have definitely loved to see what all he had left for parts or hole Vehicales for that year also!! Did he still have any trucks or blazers left from 1967-1972 Chevys????? It’s been several years since I’ve been out there!! I guess I don’t have a lot of money & almost every time I went out to get stuff from him he had the stuff but would only have enough money for one or two things on my list instead of being able to afford everything on my list!! He’s definitely a nice guy & he definitely started with the trucks that I absolutely love the most also!! Will you ever do a video on that years of trucks there for everyone?? I definitely no that there is a lot of your subscribers that would also love to see those trucks also!! Let me no please!! Awesome video keep up all the good work!!

Best comment at 12:37! 15:30 is that a Bronco or an international Scout? I agree about the 74 to 80s Camaro, lots made and plenty of potential but all were factory small block so no braggin rights like having a factory BB gets you with the older cars. Of course you can put anything you want in them, but the big dollars at auctions still seem to go to factory BB cars.

Google "Doug's 4 Wheelers". Right on the 4 lane that runs past Pella.

Prices must be high for all that stuff to just be sitting there. I'm assuming, but I could use that 4.11 9"

I live about an hour from there, I always liked that he doesnt stack em like alot of them do. There used to be a bottle green 72 charger SE there, looks like its gone now. We had 2 yards in Atlantic, Ia that were similar, gone now. I wish i had the money to grab one out of there. But I'm a loser. Good video. Thanks.

Amazing that GM would go through the trouble to stamp different rear quarters just to save a nickel for a third tail light on the delray/biscayne..

I thought, only the Impala had 3 tail lights on each side, I had a Biscayne, Belair 2 were on each side, correct 🤔

They hardly sell things,.see how everything is packed in there? They haven't been moved forever. I been there and know his brother. Outrageous prices, hence why they sit there for years untouched
