You guys are Master Craftsmen. Your knowledge, approach and skills are Awesome. My father was in Auto-body repair for almost 50 years - As a teen and between 1945-1990. My dad was highly respected in our city, and I was fortunate to see lots of repairs he did. If my dad were alive today he would he would have High Praise for your work.
I spent many hours unsubscribing to channels that no longer have my interest in their content or found they are not honest. I kept this channel for a few reasons. Your approach to repairs and how it was done is much the same as I would of done it. Yes I am now seventy four and not here much longer seeing my health decline and not able to afford that status of the presidents health care system. I do compare this channel to other channels I watch and see a group here to get a super hard to complete job accomplished. If I remember right, the dash in these cars was welded in, made it impossible to remove. Sure it can be done but the advantage is not enough to warrant to do it. Using same types of linkage for the clutch impressed me. I did fab work from late fifty nine in a shop for logging equipment which included fixing bunged up crew buses that met a corner with a drunk driver at the wheel. Yep, saturday night was cold beer in the creek for when they were finished work for that week. Hard to believe those guys, myself included did not have a sandwich or candy in hand for every five minutes of work. We packed lunch in a brown bag that had last night leftovers, plus a sandwich... and three thermoses of coffee that a man could walk on.... left in a tin cup would eat a hole in the can. One other channel I kept for good reason (I might mention the five window advance design brought me to the channel) .. is a channel called INVision Prototypes. Nick is one heck of a design and build person, and works with his dad. I do hope you check his channel out and see great playlists. I always return favor by sharing your channel name to others I recommend. Nice work and not too gaudy fake looking. All work can be done with a lot of simple tools by anyone willing to spend the hours of work involved. Time lapses make it look like a weekends work but go to a wrecking yard and see great rigs left rotting because of loss of interest, costs, change in jobs... tons of reasons for their project going south.

Let’s be honest, a classic that was a shell when Lou was around, took us from Mike and Rick and through the Tommy era, and was 4 years of show builds, is a spectacular vehicle. #Powernation, I would love to see a 2024 update on this beast!
One of the Racers in Arlington, TX had a 1961 Biscayne Coupe. It was powered by a souped up 409, backed by a 4 Sp. with Posi-Traction rear end. Nobody around could beat it. At the time, I thought it was ugly , Fifty years later, I see it as a beautiful Machine, that did it's job.
Painting the centers of the Foose wheels black was a mistake. I think the chrome would have looked sharper with all the chrome and stainless on the car. But, red might have looked good too.
Power Nation the one show I love too hate to watch. They're so many cars come out of their garage I'd love to have seating my garage in the mornings so I could be cruising around all day and the Red Sled is no exception. Loved the ending at the drive-in it back some memories with a chuckle.

I have seen 1 impala in my small town, almost 37 years back, 1987, it was a 2nd owner car, may be 26 year old, baught by a prominent person of town, Huge fins, fluttering soundbof engine , Quite impressive, when hardly that town used to have not more than 15 cars total. Old memories
Unbeliveble work! You made a "MuscleCar 2024 Impala", to me one of the best cars never released in USA. I'm Italian, I know what I say because my father had a black 1961 Impala in the late 70ies and all 80ies. Chevrolet, to me, made a real great car. You are amazing guys, what You did is unbelievable to me. All my compliments (You made a car for my actual 68 years of age 😁). Very well done, all my compliments.
Oh. An oldie that is a goodie. It feels like ancient YT automobile era already... Not my kind of vehicle but watching the work done is inspiring nonetheless.
I remember this one. I think my grandparents had one in cream or beige. In the late 60's I took my drivers test in their butternut yellow Impala fastback. What a great car.
Lol, that comedy around lead :D :D That had me in stitches. As a kid I was melting lead on an open flame ALL the time. We all were. No protection at all. How could we only survive?
Wow this is my age. What a brilliant job. I’m looking for a ole first ever 1965/ 66 Mustang. Redone. My dream car. My brother had one when was a teen. Don’t know what happened to it. Sweet ride
I’m amazed at how many of these old cars are still left for dead sitting in someone’s driveway or backyard. You rarely get deals if they did in fact keep it in a garage. I know that if I owned an old car it would never get parked for decades. In fact it would probably rack up more mileage than the daily driver!
My first car was a 61 Bel-Air in root beer color. (as as the Impala but with 2 lights on each side on the back). I bought it in 73 for $125. That back seat can fit 2 16 year olds very nicely. The trunk can ft 5 kids for sneaking them into the drive-in theater. The engine compartment was huge and no emissions equipment so you could sit on the fender, put your feet on the engine and replace the spark plugs very easily. You could see all the way to the bottom of the engine so if you had a bad starter, you could use a screwdriver to "short the starter" into starting standing up. (times were tough for a 16 year old during the recession, so don't judge.) I always parked on a hill so I could pop the clutch to start it. A lot of memories in that old bucket of bolts.
The 1958-1964 X frame with the midship driveshaft bearing wasn’t designed for high torque & high horsepower engines.I had a 61 Impala bubble-top coupe in the 1970’s. 327 with fueler heads & a 5:57 Pontiac rear end. Don’t remember how many midship driveshaft bearings I replaced. Currently restoring a 1961 Impala Sport Sedan. Will leave the standard 283 V-8 and 2 speed PowerGlide as is, to save my midship bearing. CB
The cool thing about a 283 the early years was that all the internals were forged. I put one in a Nissan Hardbody pickup. It was the perfect engine for that light little truck.
Thanks for doing something close to what we have to do with Indiana cars. Nice to see someone else dealing with the rust and BS we deal with in salt county
good job guys.. i appreciate people who do clean, meticulous and quality work... the chevrolet impala's in-line six cylinder engine is an engine I like very much.. but it is very difficult to find an in-line six cylinder impala anymore... in-line six cylinder......it's awesome..(this is my opinion) I respect your work..

I remember this one. I think my grandparents had one in cream or beige. In the late 60's I took my drivers test in their butternut yellow Impala fastback. What a great car.
Unnnnnnn-Believable !!! The only word kept coming to mind watching you guys in action was GENIUS.
My favorite Impala is the '61... I love the show! Thank you for making my weekend!
Great end result, all the hard work shows. Wish there was more video of the finished product though.
I've never seen so much Bondi being used...
lots of work put in guys...nice
Lol, that comedy around lead :D :D That had me in stitches. As a kid I was melting lead on an open flame ALL the time. We all were. No protection at all. How could we only survive?
Wow this is my age. What a brilliant job. I’m looking for a ole first ever 1965/ 66 Mustang. Redone. My dream car. My brother had one when was a teen. Don’t know what happened to it. Sweet ride
Amazing build. The emblem painting is something i have never seen before. Only thing i would change would be the digital cluster. I prefer it analog.
Dads got a fully restored 61 Belair sport coupe, 409, 4spd, and it is such a sweet car 👌
You did a good job putting everything back together.
You have a real nack for this kind of stuff.
The amount of "love" that's gone into this restoration...
I know absolutely nothing about cars but I find this fascinating to watch. No idea what they are talking about, I just enjoy it.
These Cars were Iconic, you guys did a Beautiful job. Enjoyed the Video ! 🌹
The 1958-1964 X frame with the midship driveshaft bearing
wasn’t designed for high torque
& high horsepower engines.I
had a 61 Impala bubble-top
coupe in the 1970’s. 327 with
fueler heads & a 5:57 Pontiac
rear end. Don’t remember how many midship driveshaft bearings I replaced.
Currently restoring a 1961 Impala Sport Sedan. Will leave
the standard 283 V-8 and 2
speed PowerGlide as is, to
save my midship bearing. CB
The cool thing about a 283 the early years was that all the internals were forged. I put one in a Nissan Hardbody pickup. It was the perfect engine for that light little truck.
Quite amazing how enough young guys and the right tools can make all of this look easy.
Turning rust to glory! I once tried to fix a bike and ended up with extra parts-can't imagine doing that with a '61 Impala
Thanks for doing something close to what we have to do with Indiana cars. Nice to see someone else dealing with the rust and BS we deal with in salt county
That floor pans looks really nice Y'all did a great job The frame looks great too
Hard to believe this show was shot in 2008!!! Quality old school stuff waaaaay before UA-cam BS rebuilds.
You guys built a whole new car, lot of work was done and involved in the process.
These guys are great! They have some serious metal fabrication skills. The car looks fantastic❤
Your channel content is great, it realistically reproduces the process of repairing old cars. Looking forward to seeing more programs!
We appreciate the nice comment.
good job guys..
i appreciate people who do clean, meticulous and quality work...
the chevrolet impala's in-line six cylinder engine is an engine I like very much..
but it is very difficult to find an in-line six cylinder impala anymore...
in-line six cylinder......it's awesome..(this is my opinion)
I respect your work..
Thanks so much! Appreciate the comment!
Hey you're putting a real motor in that car that's a real heartbeat that's awesome❤❤🎉
That airbrushing was absolutely awesome to watch.Great skills bro😎👍🏼
This was my favorite rebuild of all.
Definitely up there, for sure! I highly recommend the My Mechanics channel. What he's been doing with a 240Z over the past year is pretty amazing.
By far the best restoration I have seen yet. Well done guys!
Love these "Full Builds" pure joy. Would like a little deeper depth in details (nut and bolt) but that's me. LOL
looks like original paint so there will be no surprises. it is amazing all the cool suspension parts they make for just about everything now
WOW ! this is one UA-cam video that i watched non-stop ! Loved every minute of it !
Your work is truly admirable, keep it up. Congratulations directly from Minas Gerais - Brazil!
