We put our hearts into each boat we buy and saying goodbye is never easy. We are still in awe at the places we were able to travel to and the wildlife we saw along the way. This was by far the best $100 we have ever spent...

Isn't that the same boat-building facility that Sailing la Vegabonde is having theirs made in?
Pretty sure...
If you get a chance, it would be great to see y'all get to meet.
Just ask some of the staff or workers?
They have 1.82M subs.
Wasn't the boat sold over the summer?
Mountain Mist reciprocated the love you showed her when she transported you to a wonderland of creatures, mountains, forests, and endless waterfalls. Thank you for taking me along.
Myst
My husband and I love your videos; they bring sunshine, water and beautiful underwater videos right into our home. My husband has Alzheimer’s, so we don’t get out much.
Yet, you two bring us joy. Jetty is such a sweet trooper, we love that puppy.
Our grandson is a new doctor but he loves to do the foiling on the Lake on weekends to reduce his stress.
He loves watching your videos when
He stops by to visit.
I think that between how the boat turned out and the experiences that you had on her this was by far your best project. Happy trails.
Words fall short of how this project and adventure define you as two remarkable individuals! This old soul is inspired and proud to have followed you throughout the project. Great times, hard work, and to believe how this has to be so sweet and satisfying for your souls. So happy for you two!
Sierra, I nearly cried with you. Good luck with the new boat.
And hugs for Jetty.
Good it's not just me... tear ducts functional and operating. Best wishes to you three.
Can you connect me get a 200$ boat
I wanted this girl so bad...I hope whoever bought her are using her like she deserves...You guys made her beautiful! And usable. I live in Ballard by the docks..as a sailor, I want my boat to work/take me places.
Can get a couple thousand feet of that 1/2" poly line (4×500') for a few hundred bucks. That way you can have enough to go around the trees and back to the boat.
The family who purchased Mountain Myst made the deal of a lifetime. God bless
Tony & Susan here, you made us so proud. Really
You two did an awesome job on her.
Mountain Myst loves you back……for bringing her back to life!
Yay, Tideweaver, (our boat) made the video! It was great meeting you two at the marina. You are just as nice in real life! Fair winds
I don't usually comment (I know, slacker), but this series was great, especially this episode. You really touched me. Thanks for sharing.
I'm guessing you"ll have a hard putting this adventure and project out of your mind........what a gem Mountain Mist turned out to be.
You guys are so wonderful, so talented, and show so much determination. I have enjoyed watching you rebuild this beautiful boat. I hate to see her go too, but I'm looking forward to your new adventure too. God Bless You!!!!
Goodbye Mountain Myst. Bummer you couldn't keep her. Sometimes we have to make choices. Regarding important decisions, seems you always make the best ones. Can't wait to see you sailing again.
Out of all the boating and sailing channels that I watch, you guys are definitely my favorite. I have learned so much from you and always look forward to the day that the wife and I can maybe own a boat. Until then, We will continue to watch you. Hate to see this adventure end but, am looking forward to the next one. Safe travels.
Couldn’t do it without you !!❤️ happy to have you on this adventure with us!
Love all the comments. I like watching this channel
Surely the best boat story on UA-cam !
She is an awesome boat. Look what your going to have in a few months. 😊🙂😄
Beautiful people ❤
We looked forward to your sharing of your life on the boat, you will be missed. We will be watching for any future posts.
Outstanding, with a new boat in the building stage, we would like to thank you bot for the adventures you have shared and pray both safety and happiness, moving forward. Enjoy!
I remember watching the breakdown of each and every expense video you did. There, you said it was worth it 100 times over. I agree. The three of you are fabulous. 🤗
Wow! I didn't know you were in our sailing ground...
Belated welcome 😎
Hi, I don't know if you will get my massage in a bottle, I had to hold back my tears as I go through these projects and have the same feelings, I'm so proud of you both, great job and can't wait to see your next adventure, sail on, from White Wolf sailing, God bless 🥲😀😎
Look at you young people! From youngsters to maturing peeps! Goodonyas! Well done! And the Adventure continues!
What a ride . You live many people’s dreams .
That was one beautiful boat. Captian Bill looked very happy with that Trawler.
The devotion to the hard work you shared with us is appreciated, your love for each other and lifestyle is obviously genuine... so refreshing. Your folks did a good job raising you two.
Wow pretty amazing transformation!! Beautiful 🤩
I watched this a day or two back and cogitated over it... I can't stop myself thinking she was worth at least $100K, especially these days. New owners got a heckuva deal on a super nice boat.
After 3 yrs on a 52 footer...hard to go e up that space! BUTTTTTTT......BETTER DAYS AHEAD!
The transformation from start to finish was amazing. We are currently restoring a 1967 Grand Banks 36 Woody. We bought her in July 2022. Progress is slow, but steady. We can only work on her a couple of days a week. So, it seems to be taking forever. I know she'll be Grand again when we are "done" ( work on a wooden boat is never done).😅. We hope to be underway for short excursions around Chesapeake, VA, and the ICW, at the end of May.
You did Mountain Must proud, and she reciprocated the love.
That project was a real feather in both your caps. Give yourselves a big pat on the back. Cant wait for the new Cat to hit the water.
Such a great journey with Mountain Mist 💙⚓️
New adventures ahead guys!
Congrats guys, one door closes another opens. You will soon be on your new Catamaran. You both are amazing and passionate at what you do restoring boats.
You two can make anything beautiful !!!
We will follow your adventures on land or sea and even a Baby.
Perfect ending handing her over to a family with 4 kids to continue the adventure!
Congrats on the sale of the boat. Look forward to seeing you in the Seawind family.
I'm so sad, you qorkws so hard and she is beautiful and perfect 😢

I think we all fell in love with the boat with you. Thank you for taking us along!

On to a new adventure! Good Job and I hope to see another boat in your future!
WOW congrats. I bet it was hard to let here go but you just had to look ahead to the warm winds and beautiful waters coming. Happy for you.
Your ultimate goal was to fix her up enjoy her and sell her, id say your journey took you to every corner of your goals. Nice work ,you two crushed it. Congrats and happy sails to your next adventure.
New owners are going to have a ball! 🎉
So.. it was be Very!..
Good luck in next project!
I've enjoyed the ride with you. No doubt you are both very talented!
I watched all the videos of Mountain Mist. The next owners will hopefully love her as much as you did.
Dude you must have one great woman there. I will be Honest here and say I had a great one too but I have to say Sierra is still one step up. Hope she is as cool in real life as she is here. Good luck you two. Life is a dream!
I am glad to hear that your new Cat is ready
Better Days Are Coming! Sail on!
There are clever knot channels here on yt. A few of them can show you how to make a release/tensioner knot that is easily retractable. Good adventures!
Everyone loves a nice trawler ❤
Seawind 1260 if I recall. You may see Nick and Teresa as their Ruby Rose II 1370 is almost ready. Wow, getting closer for you! Best, :¬) Webhead USA
I get goosebumps watching this. You guys have such a wonderful life. I missed my calling and I’m afraid it’s too late. Peace! I wish you guys nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

I always feel when you have invested time and love into a project it becomes a part of you. You two will always have a spot in your heart for Mountain Mist and the adventures with her. Congratulations on selling her to the next adventurers.

You guys did good…onward and upwards…stay safe…
I feel the pain....
Great job! on to the next!
Going to miss that boat
Good luck with your new boat! I’m sure it will be an awesome adventure. 👍
And now onto another chapter. Way to go guys.
Fortunately you were off to a good start from the beginning because this boat was solid and had good bones... Good engines... Majority of the work needed was cosmetic..... So when people take on a big project, it helps knowing how to pick one that you don't need to replace and rebuild everything on the boat..... Of course you can, but then it's going to take a lot more time and money to do it...
Thanks for taking us along for the ride, showing us doubting thomas's that hard work and a dream is all that's required in life every adventure is another feather in your cap of knowledge for your next adventure. Which I'm sure Billy has already well under way.
Congratulations, and condolences, I have on several boats and know what you’re feeling, U2 are amazing, thank you for taking us along with you, the adventure you’ve been on has been great to watch thank you for sharing it with everyone, U2 are an inspiration to many, and I wish you the very best in your adventures to come and your new boat, it will also be interesting to see you and watch, thank you so so much for sharing God bless and Godspeed
You can be proud of yourselves you paid 100 dollars plus whatever it cost you to bring mountain mist up speck a good job was done you got what you wanted for her well done you made her a beautiful boat but you worked for it and had a lovely cruise with her here to your next adventure the thee of you
Sad but happy 😃 and all that love ❤️ and hard work passed on
well done, literal blood, sweat and tears. great job, hope it paid off.
"The name of a rock group that best describes your wedding night ?"
' Blood, Sweat & Tears ' on the 'Newly Wed Game' a few years ago . . .
. . . . left the bride crawling under the table as the audience roared ! !
on to the next adventure guys
Awesome so happy for you guys. I love that boat
Cool. Congratulations on the sale and the new boat! I am right now on a new Seawind 1260, in Vietnam having crossed from Nha Trang. I'm volunteer crew. We've been spending a lot of time looking for all the things not available in Vietnam. (Like tapered bungs. None in Vietnam, small ones in Subic Bay, Philippines (there's a pretty good chandlery here). We might also be able to help you with all the stuff we wished we'd have brought with us because it's not available.
I was the West Marine to VN 'courier': three bags 150 lbs. Definitely buy and bring Starlink, (I think one of the best videos on it was your channel so this might be old news) sign up for the Regional Roaming package. $150USD/month. And you're good to go. It worked right from the dock in VN. We all love it. (When I said I wanted to bring it during a Zoom call in January it was like, 'it probably won't work, maybe not this trip...' Works great.) I'm using it right now. We didn't even bother with 'free yacht club WiFi. Probably never will again.)
Almost none of the stainless rust remover stuff, dielectric grease, etc is available in VN or the Philps. You could probably get these things in your container... but it looks like it's probably already on it's way. Bring rope. I always travel with 8 or 9mm and it's always welcome. (I've yet to walk on anyone else's boat and there's been enough rope.) We tied up the dinghy with fender ropes.
I looked through your videos to see if you had made a Starlink video (couldn't find it) and noticed that you'd rented a cat. So I clicked on it (I'd already watched two of the three) noticed the Seawind design and then San Juan Islands. So I said to the guy sitting ten feet away, "Hey Jon, I think these guys rented your boat." Yep. Jon's the other crew member on our trip to cross the North Pacific. Small world even though as sailors we can visit most of it.
Really enjoyed seeing you make the amazing changes to the boat
I'm about to say the obvious... Why don't you have a set of headsets to speak to each other.
What an awesome yacht! I will miss seeing your adventures aboard.
Interesting , Thank You . The adventure continues , new boats have problems too . onward
Wow! You two did an awesome job of putting that boat back together, and I know after all the blood, sweat and tears you hate to sell her. I felt the same way after modifying a 1976 Dodge Maxivan into a camper van. I designed the interior, built most of it in and had the bed frame built to my designs so that it had storage underneath, and icebox thyat I installed, insulation, curtai9hns that my wife made, etc. That van carried us all over California and Nevada camping and exploring the state for 11 great years.
Thank you for making me cry happy tears👍🏻
It's really great that you saved the boat and gave it a new life.... I can imagine what would become of the boat if you didn't save the boat.... I seen lots of really great boats that needs special people that not scared to put some work into it and give it another life.... But most of them end up being scrap.... But you both did a great job the boat looks amazing
Thanks guys, great news and great job. We usually only comment, Go JETTY GIRL. This time you two deserve a BIG ATTABOY and a GIANT CONGRATULATIONS. PLEASE give JETTY a bunch of hugs and kisses from us. Stay safe we love y'all 👍🏻👍🏻💕💓🐾🦴
Excellent news and congratulations 🎉
