- We are incredibly excited to share with you the delivery of our Seawind Catamaran which is in fact a brand new model, the Seawind 1170. We will be showing you around the whole boat in detail in the next video but for today we wanted to share with you how we got here and some of the unique features of the 1170. Been Binge watching since I found your UA-cam channel, and am loving the excitement that you are experiencing. As a young boy growing up in New Jersey on the Delaware River and watching ships going up and down the river to Philadelphia and ports all around the world. I dreamed of building a boat and sailing around the world and then I found out that I get very seasick at about 14 years age and did not heave access to the funding to continue the dream.
As I got older, I discovered medications to resolve the seasickness issues. I married the love of my life after college and the Marine Corps, and took my wife on a number of cruises. She loved the cruises but was not keen on building or buying a boat as she was basically a woman who loved her family and wanted a nice home, etc. nearby family. We took numerous camping trips and traveled half way across the USA, but none of the trips lasted more than 3 1/2 weeks, and she was ready to head back home to her safe place. I am vicariously living through your travels, sails, boats etc. and am happy to see that the two of you are living your dream to the max. Take care, fair winds and keep the videos coming.
Worth the wait ....I see a lot of protection from the elements. The lines and appearance is sleek and beautiful. The nav/edit station is simple and functional. Can't wait to see where Glory Sue takes you. Beautiful dedication to your mom's makes it even more special.

I have been continually amazed at your willingness AND ability to take on very hard projects, which I really doubted could be done, but, here we are. I have an immense amount of respect for you. A 1170 huh man I love it, the long roof is a major game changer for me an anyone living a board because the sun is awsome but it's hot and it's a huge help for weather, looks like this is perfect as a hosting or live aboard boat, has tons of open space an then all the living stuff is below safe out of the way but set up super nice with room below also, I really like this layout with how it proportioned,

Interesting how four of favourite vlogs (‘Sailing Nahoa’, Matt & Jessica, the Wynns and you guys) are all in different phases of getting very different brand new catamarans. I can understand the different phases of excitement from “Can I do this?” to “Oh my God it’s finally happening!”. I myself ordered a new car months ago and have just got the thrilling news that it will be delivered over two months early... imagine what that’s like with something ten times more expensive which is transportation, home and livelihood all rolled into one! Keep us updated; Teach Jetty to edit, if you have to!

I been here since the (My Sailboat is my Home Video). I believe you was at 200-300 Subscribers 9yrs ago. I had just bought my Allegra 24 Full keel blue water boat and wondering if people can live on a boat that size. Turns out you can and Bill showed me that. I’m so proud of you kids. I’m old enough to be your parents but I feel that I learned so much from you kids. Being a Farmboy from Indiana I knew nothing about Sailing or Sailboats. I was here from the start and seeing you hit 200k subscribers and now take ownership of a new Cat is amazing.
Billy that little sailboat Tula you called home took you to Florida to meet an amazing woman that shared your love for adventure. 9 Years later, several boats and many adventures you just bought a new Cat that most can only dream of owning with the best woman ever. Tula hi from Alberta,Canada. A belated congratulations on taking receipt of your new home/boat she is magnificent. A great boat fro a great couple. All that sanding, painting and repairing your previous boats improving their values has finally paid off. Now we all know boat work is never done but now its mostly learning how she sails, adding your own personal touches {a water maker possibly) as in decorating and organizing.
She really is an amazing looking boat, have fun enjoy her you certainly deserve it.

I have been pining over an 1160 for a while now, but did not like the central BBQ at the back. I LOVE that they moved it to the side to provide a back bench long enough to lounge on!
