This was genuinely the most helpful and detailed version of squared corners I've seen. I especially appreciate the camera angles you've used. Having such detailed shots from the side give a view that's so often missed in videos. You are so appreciated. x
Hi Ruth. From memory these were 7 inch squares baked at 3” high. In order to get a nice ‘square’ I would have cut them into 1 inch layers and stacked them 6 layers high. With filling, you’d get close to 7inches which creates that true cube look. At the end of the day it really is best to use your own eye and judgement though. I hope this helps a little and good luck with the cake! I’d love to see it when you’re done! J x
Ok, so before I watch anything... Your hair is EPIC! How did you get that amount of stunning during a PANDEMIC!?!? The rest of us have horrific hand-cut fringes.
How did you get that amount of awesome full stop!? Thank you lovely lady. I assure you that what I may have made up for in hair colour/style, I’ve fallen short with in the whole ‘extra iso padding’ department 🤣🤣🤣
I’m so sorry but I don’t. I bought this one in Sydney Australia in 2011 from the cake decorating studio I interned for. So sorry I can’t help with this one 🙂

What size pans and how many did you use to make the square cake? I want to try and make the robot cake for my grandson's birthday.

What if I live somewhere it's hot. Still leave it out the fridge over night?
How did you make the ganache?
Can I use the same cake board top and bottom?
You definitely need 2 separate cake boards as one needs to be your top guide and the other, your bottom guide. 🙂
THAT'S CAKEABLE oh I meant like can I use the same SIZE cake board lol not the same one I used for the top and reuse it for the bottom
What's your ganache ratio?
Do you sell the scraper that you use to fill in the ganache on top with the red handle?
No I don’t sell any items. These were purchased for about $2.00 from my local hardware store 🙂
THAT'S CAKEABLE what are they called ? Thank you for responding. 😍
Do you have a link for your rolling pin ?!
