Nikki, is there ANYTHING you cannot do? Glass blowing, archery, writing books, making jewelry in the olden days, etc. No wonder your husband said you were the most interesting person when you were dating! I think I'm remembering that right. Love you both!! Thanks.

My husband is a master electrician in TX, AR and MO. It can be difficult to get residential service work done. Customers frequently tell him that other companies wouldn't even answer the phone. Most companies are understaffed because there is a shortage of journeymen and masters.
We're in our early 30s and when we were in school, trade work was actively discouraged. College was the one and only path kids were encouraged to take.

yes, we did that with our central air. We closed on our new build in May and put the A/C in the following March. We just didn’t want to finance it for 30 years.

I think this episode is a great illustration of how their marriage worked in the beginning. Christine was simply a tool to manage Meri. Mary felt as the first wife she deserved XYZ… Christine was there to move it over. Except now we’re at the point where Christine started to realize her worth and she’s just not willing to lay down and let someone else get what they want before she gets what she wants.

If it was a sincere offer it would have been miserable to have Robyn as a surrogate. Meri would have been left a single mom with a newborn while saint Robyn was pampered by Kody as she recovered.

It will NOT be hard to say goodbye to Kootie & Sobyn. I think there is a growing groundswell among fans to stop rewarding these two marital monsters by continuing to be their source of income. The recent episodes TLC has been releasing of the “talk backs” and “look backs” and seeing how hostile & resentful both K & R are to having to actually WORK for their paycheck is adding to that groundswell. They BOTH need to get off TLCs tit & get jobs. Let’s see them add to their Charles Dickens christmas village on minimum wage, which is all they are qualified to do - they should at least work with some honor for a change.

I think it's typical that trades put small jobs on the bottom rung,
They prefer big, high-paying jobs (of course)
...so they're always waiting for more of those & pushing small jobs back.
*BUT* it's not fair & does suck!!

Very typical that construction, especially, is delayed pretty close to 100% of the time (Vancouver, BC).
    Waiting for supply orders,
    Wrong supplies ordered,
    Waiting for subsequent supply order,
Bigger, more lucrative jobs push back smaller jobs,
    Over promising on deadlines,
Mistakes made & time to correct,
    Blablabla!

Apparently.... Meri wanted the wetbar because she and Kody were doing an MLM called LIV water and would host get togethers at her house at the wetbar. But she couldn't mention it on the show, of course. And that's why she paid for the extra herself.

I remember on the show Meri said that the wet bar would be helpful since she hosted the family gatherings, and it would make it serving everyone easier.
But now we know that Ch never felt comfortable at Meri's family gatherings. In their autobiography, Ch said that Meri would often put her down in front of others, and earlier this season, Ch said she was always tense at the big family gatherings - I assume as a result.
So Meri got her wetbar, but not many family gatherings were hosted at her place.
Maybe they had more MLM gatherings.

I inherited my home from my mom, she tried to get things fixed and so many didnt show up or would do half the job and not come back. I keep trying to tell my partner that you have to learn to do somethings by yourself. One i dont always have money to pay a professional for smaller jobs, obviously im not going to do things i know nothing about like electric but i can change a fuse.

In regards to Merri’s decision: My guess is it took her so long to decide Because she wanted something more from Kody. By this time in their lives Kody & Meri may or may not have been having sex.
