The gift that Kody is referring to was 30 rice crispy squares, one for each year they had been married. It was a 30th ANNIVERSARY picnic, not his BIRTHDAY. He did not know how long they had been married. No anniversary gift for Meri. The anniversary picnic was televised. I dubbed it 'The Last Anniversary' when it aired. Turns out I was right. They fought in the car. Meri had asked him what he would do if she leaned over and kissed him. She says that he pulled away from her. She felt frozen out. That picnic may have been when he realized he didn't hate her any more but no way was that a moment he considered reconciliation with her. Meri's description of the day matches what the rest of us saw and heard. Kody's story is just that, a story that makes him sound like a possible hero but the 'other women' sabotaged it. Robyn is the only woman that backs his story. The other women don't know what he's talking about. I believe Christine, Meri and Janelle on this one. Robyn is the game player who knows when and how to back Kody in his game.

Kody's biggest fear is poverty. He will drive all of the women and his kids into poverty before he risks his own financial state. Example: Janelle and Savannah were desperate, he turns his back of them and left Janelle to find her own solution with was the 5th Wheel. Time for all of them to separate their finances. Robyn too. None of them are financially safe with him
Where does Sobyn get the money? Just from the show? If TLC drops them then she would have to work outside the home.
He's a prime example of 'Big Hat, No Cattle'.
He let his own biological child live in a trailer while he lavishes Robyn’s 3 kids with a big house and cars…shows you hes grooming them! Just like he cared less about Ysabelles needed surgery…focused in Daytona “cosmetic” surgery. He paid for that but not his own flesh and blood?

Why wasn't Robyn asked why do you call Christine a liar? Why don't they show Robyn, Kody and Christine therapy sessions, conversations and Kodys bad and humiliating statements about Chrstine? Why doesn't anyone ask her; would you stay with a man who says such things about you, again and again... Why doesn't anyone ask Robyn why did your first marriage broke if you don't let something like that happen? These interviews are a joke!

I think the only truth Kody said on the tell all was that he was afraid of poverty. The whole family has been dependent on TLC for their income for years. They live way beyond their means. Robyn and Kody had the only functional marriage beginning in Las Vegas. I think Meri, Janelle and Christine agreed to stay in the "family" for the show only due to the money. When Christine called it quits that's why Kody, Robyn and Meri felt betrayed, as they needed everyone on board to be "sister wives". Meri had been living the lie for 10 years and she, Kody, and Robyn expected Christine to do the same. Now that the truth is out that's why Janelle is now " separated" and why Meri sat next to Janelle instead of Kody and Robyn at Logan's wedding. The whole story line has been a farce. Once the new 4th wife came on Kody found love was done with polygamy. And done with all the kids he had with his first 3 wives. Which explains the horrible treatment of children. He has totally moved on. And now he's worried that TLC will end the show and the money train. Hence; poverty.

I have a plethora of feelings about yesterday’s 1st tell all. I really was hoping the host would of asked more hard hitting questions. Maybe she may ask them in the later episodes, but after yesterday’s episode, I don’t have much hope. What I wish she talked about were:
1. How is it you can’t afford to pay off part of Coyote pass so Janelle can start building, but you had money to put in an offer for Christine’s house.
2. How is it you traveled to 2 weddings, but due to your concern with Covid, you couldn’t drive with Ysabel when she went to college? ( I know it was because he was being petty with Christine, I just wanted to hear him being challenged in that.)
3. You stated In earlier seasons, each relationship doesn’t affect your other relationships. Yet this season, you told Christine you stopped liking her because she was mean to Robyn. Plus you told her she wasn’t willing to be a part Robyn’s kids life. *Then shows clips of Christine trying to work on her relationship with Robyn, then clip of Christine clearly stating she was offended Robyn didn’t ask her to watch her kids, instead of the nanny.”
4. You stated you were upset when Christine decided to leave the family without running it by you first, yet you stated you no longer considered yourself married to Meri (unbeknownst to her). In fact you said if she left and found another guy, you wouldn’t care. How is what Christine did bad, but how you’ve treated Meri is ok?

If the only thing K is scared of is poverty, then he should stop going so far in DEBT with fancy cars, giant houses, undeveloped property, and massive credit cards. And THANK YOU for bringing up the 'you're not divorced til you have sex with someone else'. So according to Robin's statement, she was not 'divorced' until her wedding night with K. 🙄
Thinking actually she claims divorce while courting Kody, so either she slept with someone after hubby 1, & before K, or, like I firmly believe, she & K were banging it out prolifically while courting.

They both seemed to be so hot for each other and I wondered if they snuck off and did it before they were married. All the footage of their courting moments they looked like they were ready to find the nearest bed and go for it. But as far as Robyn's divorce from her previous husband - it was a legal divorce done through the courts, so I think Robyn considered herself divorced.

I recently started my own re-watch, at season 9. Going back after watching the current episodes is VERY eye opening! Season 9 episode 4 had the trip Christine and Kody made for their anniversary when they included the therapists, and went to the beach and built that rock tower to represent their 'relationship'-do you recall that? All of their current problems were already on display during this therapy session-the writing was on the wall even back then. And when Kody was getting ready to marry Robyn he said that line about poverty being the only thing he feared. He's always been an asshat.
The show never fails to disappoint! Every Year at the end of the Tell All, I think, is that it? And every new season, I think it's going to be good and I'm always left thinking, "I'm never going to get that time back.". I'm in Missouri, shaking my head in disbelief! Arg!

In another recapper video I learned that the producer and creator of Sister Wives, Tim Gibbons, lives down the street from Kody and Robyn. 😮 Adds a whole new element to this 1:1 and explains why the show lets Kody and Robyn get away with their BS.
A crappy producer tries to create a false narrative on a “reality” show. His bias towards the ‘villains’ makes it a fantasy show!

I thought the same thing years ago. Meri had an ally in Robyn, where she has always had a strained relationship with Janelle. I think Christine was usually the peacemaker, but got along with Janelle better than she did with Meri.

All I got was Koodie sticking his tongue out, he grabbed Sukayana’s upper thigh, he used a tautology (how is she a game player? Bc she’s a game player). What makes more sense than Kodys story is that he didn't want to go public with Meri and his separation so he needed to deflect blame. He said before it was a double standard that they could leave and he couldn't but yet he did leave Meri before he even said that. He doesn't want to be a hypocrite so he made up a lie.

I feel like Christine was telling Kody exactly what she needed for years and he refused to give it to her. I don't think it was a game. I think she considered leaving many times but chose to keep trying. She told him that she was unhappy and needed more and he got angry at her for speaking her needs.
I’m convinced that Suki doesn’t watch the show. That’s the only reason I can think of for her soft interview questions.

Roblyn wanted to be an actress .meet Oprah . write a book so she put her self out to accidently meet the browns . So it worked and the polygomy religion all were wondering how it happened so fast . Then find out puddle monkey productions had come calling also in 2009 . Puddle monkey wrote about it on their website . Under projects. So roblyn is a fame hunter the reporter said

The wheel thing is most likely a reference to the Utah pioneers and the handcarts wheel from the 1800’s. Those type of references are common in the LDS religion, so I’m sure it is within the FLDS as well since it is before they separated from the mainstream religion. Utah has a holiday called Pioneer Day and many of the local churches go on yearly treks dressed as pioneers pulling handcarts. Family history and the pioneers are huge within the church

Kodi did say Christine’s freak out at the family get together over his possible reconciliation with Meri was 2 years before she kicked him out. That would have been early 2019, which is prior to the rice krispy treat 30 year anniversary which was in 2020. I know Christine is amazing, but I doubt her ability to “lose her shit” specifically over something that hadn’t happened yet.
It would also mean he knew personally about her claiming to be in a loveless marriage - not just hearing this from the kids.
Kody is a pathetic liar. He could try harder.

The worst bit was Kody saying that marrying Janelle and Christine were like ‘pick me’ while he panted like a dog. He keeps focused on Respect but he disrespected two women who are the mothers of 12 of his children.

I agree Jon, I thought Suki was terrible last year and she is still terrible. We need a interviewer that has training with narcissistic people. And possibly a man, because I think Kody like to intimidate women, including the interviewer.
Piers Morgan needs to be the interviewer for this Brown family tell all. John, I guarantee there would be fist a cuff's at some point. Nicki, Piers would hold they're feet to the fire, up to including video footage from all past seasons. Then he'd start with questions that would make everyone blush. Piers is known for being an "A" hole. Lol
