At first I wondered whether Kody wore gloves to cover up whatever "ring situation" he had going on at the time.
Now, I'm convinced it's because he enjoys the APPEARANCE of being busy, more than he likes actually being busy.

I've noticed Nicki has reversed other words that are in the same category and I forget what medical.term is for that but it has to do with how the brain stores info in categories (men who are husbands) .
I introduced a patient when I was 47 after months as Marilyn .... her name was Helen. I had to think forever as to who was Marilyn. When I was 19 to 21 I had a student hourly job In a departmental office and we shared photocopier abd mail room with another dept , whose secretary was Marilyn ..... white page boy cut, slender, introverted.... my brain had a space for that. Apparently.

There’s one gate to enter one street with 9 houses. One huge house facing the gate, then a cul de sac on each side with 4 houses. They did a pretty good job at keeping the other houses off the show as much as they could.
I thought it looked like their 4 were at end of a cul.de sac with maybe another 2 houses on each side of the street between cds and street you get to it from.
They did not show the parts they didn't own much. That's neat to know the layout and gate so close.
This!! I know they talked about the neighborhood being nice or the neighbors spoke and said the browns were fine and nice.

There was five houses in the cul de sac, you can see the fifth house on the left side corner, in aerial drone shots. The house was on the corner edge it had artificial turf with cement square block walkway up to the house. Other than the aerial shots you never see the house in the entrance to the cul de sac. The homeowners were not part of the show in the fifth house.
Wouldn't you hate to live in proximity to Kody & Crew?
Can you imagine how awkward and uncomfortable it would be living in that 5th house. I am not saying that any of them are bad neighbors but the overall situation has to be so loaded and having so many neighbors who are that connected with each other...so uncomfortable!
Remember when Kody hung lights from the houses across the cul du sac? What if the residents of the 5th house didn't like it? I could see Kody stepping over boundaries all over the place, to say nothing if the film crews being there

Their road is a road with cul-de-sacs at both ends. You go in the gate then can turn left or right. Their 4 homes are on the right and to the left is 5 more houses for other people, so they are not the only ones behind the gate. There are 9 family homes behind the gate. Their homes are a bit over 4000 sf each.

We're cursors at our house. Not the computer mouse kind. But back when...like 20 years ago, my daughter and her friend would say "what the frack" and I was always yelling THAT'S JUST THE BABY F-BOMB YOU CAN'T SAY IT. Because it's the way they spew it, right? Lol. Fun times, parenting.

I 100% agree, I have a basket full of work gloves and they’re all dirty, mismatched and some have holes. It’s like Kody buys a new pair of gloves for every task.
Also, it’s a gated development. There’s two cul de sacs at either end of this gated development. The road John is talking about is the side street to get to the gate and other developments adjacent (which is connected to a main drag). Centennial was a pretty up and coming area, trying to be as flashy as Summerlin with the gated developments.
Sorry, I’m editing this as I watch. My friend used to shoot competitions for archery, she did Vegas all the time, she even shot in South Africa. Archery is a crazy little community. I’m not surprised you came across a wack a doodle. My friend found and married 2 from the community. She got me a really good deal on an Bowtech that was for a pro shooter. Iodized purple and the limbs have sparkles 😂 I call her Tina Sparkles and I could never imagine having a relationship spat with my bow 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I know what John is talking about. It looks like when you through the gate, the road veers towards the cul de sac and then forks the opposite direction. There appears to be more houses down this road, but I think it's all apart of the same gated community that's walled off.

When i got divorced, i kept my married name esp since i had kids in school, so we'd have the same name. I never changed it back, cause i liked it better. ( and the woman my ex married kept her name) 😊
At one time the adults said something about the children not believing them because they have been disappointed before.
They treated Kody as a demigod until they learned their own value. He loved them until they realized that they were worth more than he was willing to offer. And they left the day that they realized that nothing about Kody was worth having.

My teen and I have come up with a new family last name (because we fled the people who share that name). It has nothing to do with any family lineage on any side, and it’s just for us!
Meri made it worse (about worrying about not getting the house) by not getting her paperwork in on time and by delaying the construction when she kept showing up unannounced so she could scrapbook the building experience
They were unable to cover how dysfunctional she was .... I finally watched most of the whole 18 seasons and I hope she was properly diagnosed and treated at some point (which they would not disclose, understandably).
No one can imaging seeing Kody and thinking… I want that!
But it does explain the tension between Meri and Janelle.
I use 'sugar plum fairy dust', instead of expletives and now my daughters say it too when they are cross or frustrated, they're both under 7.
They were huge houses. Each just over 4,000 sq ft.

Gate Watch 2024
So the entire family had to delay Christmas for Robyn and her kids. Similar to Robyn having to wait to celebrate Christmas with her step father who spent the holidays with his wife and other family.
Kody was hiding his rings.
At the time of the cul de sac house purchase it seems that the paperwork and Meri's changes causes problems to secure her move in and finances. And I noticed that they talked about it being such a long process to secure the Flagstaff mansion for Robyn. So perhaps it was because Kody's finances with his legal wife are more complicated? I remember Christine saying something about how Kody didn't refinance their Flagstaff house with his name on it. I wonder if it was so he could secure Robyn's house? Just random thoughts.
About the gloves: Hes protecting his manicure j’that Robyn advised him on, maybe, just saying 😂

They can sell the three other houses and move to another subdivision. Knowing now Kody wasn’t doing his husbandly duty at Meri is meaning his kid at Meri is never saw dad the mood makes more sense than it did when this aired. Don’t blame the kid for seeming so unhinged at the time. The parents would often say we are doing this and that and never materialized so they knew not to get excited. This they almost pulled off. Meri was first wife and legal wife and how could the house not go first with dad on mom’s house.
