I’m totally in agreement about the balloons! People forget that what goes up will eventually come down. And when they come down in my pasture it really ticks me off.

My husband hates Sister Wives and anything associated with the show…except for your comments. He thinks John is hilarious with his comments and eye rolls. The narcissist hates when someone else starts playing with the toy they discarded. Not trying to say christine is a toy or an object but in kody's eyes she was. He's heated because he didnt expect someone would love her and she would enter her glow up era.
Also it makes him look bad. Thats the speech of she has to trash talk him to her new beau bc the new beau couldn’t marry her if he found out she left a good man. He can’t be a bad man. He can’t have done her wrong m, that would make him wrong. Narcs are never wrong. They can justify everything.
I've made jokes about Robyn being disappointed with real life conversations not going the way she n Kody practiced. It just hit me between vision boards and manifestation I think she's literally dumbfounded when things don't go the way she IMAGINED! Poor Sol in about 10yrs Robyn's going to have a breakdown because he's not married to 4 wives and living in her backyard"But...I wrote it on a balloon..(dab the eyes)ooonnnnn a ba ba balloon on on on your ffff ffff first birthday".

I believe Kody did begin showing favoritism here too it just wasn’t as noticeable. Don’t forget Janelle’s idea for the gym was dismissed. He even suggested for her to come up with a business plan. Just to turn her down.
Whereas The Bird didn’t have to present anything. They worked as a family with a professional to come up with the business plan for the investors 2 years after it was established smh

I wonder if Kody married Christine because of her family’s position in the church. That would have been such a coup for him. I do think he loved her too but she was much more willing to call out his crap which he would hate.
Here's my two cents: Kody loved Christine as a person but he's shallow and disliked her appearance. So I think HE didn't let himself love her fully because she wasn't attractive in his head. Her personality and self he loved but he didn't want to give her affection bc he thought he was too handsome for her. She felt that and shit went left. Imo.
I believe Kody is a narcissist and just knows the word love.
I never understood why Kody loved himself so much. He is ok…but not a prize in the looks department. His hair geez. And Robyn was pretty but not drop dead gorgeous. And she has aged like an old boot. Christine looks great and has always looked fresh and light.
Kody knew Christine was polygamy royalty. He loved that. Not Christine completely.

@@cindy-ml7vo yes, and they have both said MANY times that he and she had a very silly relationship together (all of the other wives have said this too) and they enjoyed joking around together and all these things. THAT is why I think that he liked her personality, and of course he liked her status as Polygamy Royalty...that should go without saying, but I dont think he liked her appearance.

I think that Kody as a narcissist isn’t capable of love as we know it. He’s either trying to appear normal and calling it love (acting) or he’s using the idea of love as a bargaining chip to control people. It’s all transactional and superficial.

I love pageant of the Masters. My daughter went to Chapman University and we would go there every year on the weekend week dropped her off at school. Now that she lives in LA we still go every few years.

You will be disappointed to know that my parents fed me pizza all the time as a baby. I wasn't getting whole slices or anything., but they would feed me little pieces of the cheese off the top and I loved it. My mom had pizza the night before I was born and craved it all her pregnancy and at the age of 45, I still love pizza.

Yeah, I thought My Sister Wives Closet was a stupid idea from the get go, especially the name, if they were going to market something clothes would have made more sense, they could have outsourced the work to a Chinese sweatshop that employees children (like they do) and probably made a little profit.
My sister wives closet sounds like they would be selling used clothes. They probably would have made more money shopping thrift stores for high end clothing and resell that for a higher price. Since Robyn likes to shop so much, she would have been perfect for that type of job.

Robyn has told Kody he never loved them cause they complained about him, and she constantly compared her marriage to the others kept pointing out what her and Kody have is real, if he complains about the OG3-Robyn told him that means he doesn't love them, so guess what direction he went??? the rest is history! I'm so glad you guys brought up multiple wives and scripture! Cain (the murderer) includes descendants, one who also murdered, and one who took two wives....it is not encouraged by God as Kody claims. Abel was replaced by God with Sethe, to grieving Adam and Eve, and Sethes' line produced the first people who called on the name of the Lord. If you take the idea of first mention, and this is the first mention I know in scripture re: polygamy, God is contrasting this practice with calling on the name of the Lord. Kody is always pointing out it's biblical. Imo polygamy is scriptural like murder and prostitution are scriptural. They're in there, but they're not for an example to follow, or practice. They're mentioned because it's an accurate historical account, besides being living, operative, washing, food, light etc. Kody believed what his church told him without looking into it, and now he regrets it, so he is just discarding his family. He's blowing it, and in that arena, he's going for it. He's throwing precious relationships out. I just do not understand.

Kody doesn’t love anyone, not even himself. If he did he would get therapy and make an effort to change his destructive behavior. I think he lusted, manipulated, and exploited these women to meet his own selfish desires and whims. Relationships to him are conditional on the grounds of how does this benefit him. This includes his relationships with his children. This is my take on him and I think he’s a sh$$$ person who’s a lost cause.

Kody wanted to rule his own kingdom in heaven and to do that he needs a certain number of wives and children. The women and children were a means to an end for him. Nothing more nothing less. The promise of being a “god” in the afterlife was his motivation. Crazy thinking but crazy cultish religious views drive it.
