Merry should have moved into a smaller place with cheaper rent so that they could then put that money into her house. The fact that she had a gigantic rental and was getting extras for her house is what made it ridiculous Especially when Janel is contributing the bulk of the money

i think meri paid for those extras herself since she wanted them and didnt want to take from the family money and at the time she was still married to kody and assumed she would be hosting most of the family events at her house and didnt one of kids having a issue with a certain mom go live when meri for a little while? she had two rooms made up for kids so they could come over and play and stay the night. its not like the extra room wasnt going to be used. and yes those other wives pointed out that she had less kids and you would cry too if someone picked on you about your weaknesses. Also you can tell when he stopped having relations with each wife by whether or not they had cold sores on their mouth because Meri started looking healthier when it stopped which was in vegas and christine and janelle when they went to where they live now. i didnt notice that until my husband pointed out the favored wives had sores on their mouth.
A quick thought about Meri and the wet bar. Meri only has one child amd not great relationships with Janelle or Christine. She says she needs to wet bar for the older kids and to host family gatherings. Maybe she worries that without the space in her house to host people and make it a "fun" house she will be pushed out. We know from the current season Kody has given up on their relationship and this might have also been a sign for the other wives to stop making the effort.
It’s weird how people always forget that meri was the legal wife, and janelle, christine are concubines they were with a married man, janelle divorced meri brother to be married with kody, all these women were spewed with jealousy but people wanna come for meri I find that weird, she was the first wife and the most screwed out of all the women. I said what I said. As for janelle she to need be held accountable for marrying meri husband , christine, they need to understand why meri didn’t not like them. I get that they were in a cult but since they now left they need to have some empathy but they lack that empathy and it’s annoying to watch.
I find the whole wet bar situation incredibly triggering because of my Mother issues. She would always indulge herself at the expense of her family because she felt she was more deserving. It made me really see Meri’s true colours and all this “family” waffle became incredibly transparent. There are other moments I could mention, but this and the whole renting a huge house with a pool from the family money is where the tide turned for me when it came to Meri. She’s incredibly manipulative and and seems to always put her needs above anybody else’s. And her weaponising her infertility was just awful to watch. If she hadn’t behaved this way, she would have been a fan favourite, because I don’t think there’s anyone who doesn’t feel empathy for her fertility issues and struggles.
Yes! I always felt that when Meri met Robyn, she instantly recognized a kindred spirit. Someone who was as controlling & self-centered as she was. BUT Robyn took that to a whole new level....when you add her terrible lying, manipulation problem. I think Meri's more of a straight shooter?❤❤❤
