I've watched and read a ton about the nuances of this game, and for just starting out this is by far the best. You're answering questions that people have and don't typically get covered in Let's Play. Great work. :)
@@jobechan2306 Yes, you're right - sorry, there is a quick clarification of wording: a tile's MAXIMUM amount of liquid is dependent on the liquid itself. In the case of water, the maximum a tile can hold is 1000kg, or 1 ton. For more advanced calculations on other liquids, it is best to consult the Wiki. The calculation in the video is more of a basic example on how to get to 2 tons of water, 4 tiles that contain 500kg water each. Pressure damage and maximum pressure for each tile is more of an advanced concept that would take more in-depth review beyond the depth of this video.
This is legit the first decent guide I've found, not all these other ones giving tips on bed placement, meanwhile I have no clue how to get food
The one thing I regret not putting in the video was food 😭but the video was getting too long already.
@@Jetaisalex Oh that was a bad example, your vid simply shows so many actual beginner things, which is great!
I was shocked to learn that "Oxygen not included" actually includes oxygen.
Finally a good explantation of the buttons and breakdown what you need that's not an hour long.

Haven't actualy gotten the game yet but good to know this is here!
Thanks for this video. Am considering getting the game and this is the only video I've found that explains super basic stuff.
It's a great game if you like colony simulator/building games with some exploration and tons of content!
The mom joke made me sub
Nice job, man. The gas pump really stumped me. This vid makes it easy to understand. 👍
Liked and subscribed for my mom
9:47 "In the American system, a ton is the negative square root of 500 pounds"

9:47 :-)
2 tons is 500kg?
1 ton = 1000kg, each tile can hold 500kg of water, so 2 tons would be 4 tiles, each holding a maximum of 500kg of water
@@Jetaisalex each tile holds 1000kg lol what

UA-cam actually went forth with removing dislikes. Here's your public dislike counter, feel free to upvote this comment if you disliked the video! 🤣
I feel like these dislike counter comments always get a few people liking as a joke
