This may be a pretty Basic Gunner Tip far below the level of a Haz 5 but dont get into the habit of shooting bugs across the map lol, Its tempting cause you typically have the spare ammo and his effective range is much longer then the other classes (Minus Scout maybe), so you engage thinking "Even if I just get them low its better than nothing" but you still end up burning ammo that you dont need to, Its a bad habit that can be admittedly very helpful up to Haz 5 but then becomes more of a hinderance lol. There are times that warrant it sure, but it should be an exception Also dont hang on to shields too long, A lot of gunners OVER respect its utility in a sense and end up basically hoarding them for clutch situations, which makes fights more difficult for your team as whole. They are powerful so dont waste them, but they are tools meant to be used so use them lol

So the bugs dont have more hp?

I just had a thought, [SQ] can E.O. be played using joysticks? I thought there was cargo hauling and salvage occupations, that you didn't list (or I didn't see listed)? ;-)

My personal guide to perks: Best perk is strong arm because it lets you deal with mineral chunks faster, throw flares like a scout and gain more info on your surroundings. Blind dwarf is a dead dwarf. Second best perk is berserker because pickaxe is an incredible terrain shaping tool that also allows for emergency damage (or wave clear) without expending ammo Third best perk is hoverboots because dash is unreliable and volatile, pickaxe usage is risky but trusty rocket shoes will never fail you in more ways than you can think of, breaking falls, keeping you away from bugs in a tight spot, burning bugs if you have no ammo and helping you use pickaxe Fourth best perk is field medic because a lot of people play iron will or die in general so you better get to reviving them. Worst perk is Iron Will because it requires you to have loser mentality and die for it to succesfully work

Most important tip for haz 5: DO NOT PLAY DOOM MUSIC! You will be too enticed to kill everything that moves and end up going down a lot

I play driller and i just handle every swarm by making a bunker and we just shoot at everything that tries to enter, if they start to break through gunner throws shield it usually works

We get it. You main scout and only made this video for hazard 5 scout. You should rename the video to hazard 5 scout instead of letting everyone think you're going to talk about hazard 5 in general. Shake my head.

Ammo efficiency of your build is very important compared to other haz levels, because you will need to do a lot more killing.
