I've been using a Fruit Cereal Flavored Whey with Non Fat Greek Yogurt with Instant Oats. I put them in my food processor. Sometimes I may add a few sliced strawberries. If I want it sweeter, I usually just add some Stevia. I love it. Sometimes I may omit the oats and put some lower calorie cereal with it. Such as Bran Flakes. it gives it a crunch. Obviously, I put the cereal in at the end. I make it in the morning. Perhaps I'll let it overnight to see how the flavor infuses

Edit: i was reading through the comments and got my answer but still wanted to leave a comment. Great video and really excited to try a few of these. If I’m lactose intolerant do you have a suggestion about using something that isn’t casein powdered protein? I know I’ve had to stick w whey but the creaminess of casein seems like it adds an essential component to the recipe.

Yes absolutely. Casein adds a creaminess that whey will not create. But I'm sorry to tell you what to add instead of casein. I have no idea which lactose free ingredient has the same texture

I wish my stomach tolerated anything other than Whey, the caseine version looks so good! Definitely gonna try the carrot and apple one soon, thank you for this! Always appreciate more breakfast options, especially sweet ones since I can make them as a dessert if I want to hahah

Hope you like it! Whey will be totally fine but not that thick

same surprisingly lol. inspired by this channel, i bought 5 lb casein. felt horrible. stomach burning, headaches, sent it right back and bought 5lb whey coming soon. you wouldn't think it would be an issue since they're both derived from the same product. but yeah. - note symptoms are milder when mixed with something like oatmeal. but still not enough for me to use over whey.

can you tolerate soy protein or pea protein? They also get thicker than whey.

@@weisscoaching pea is tolerable although not very filling on its own for me. soy has a similar reaction as casein, but milder. i try to avoid it. whey has been the best for me. only issue is protein farts with whey if i have to much in one go.

@@weisscoaching I have bowel issues (IBS) so I'm afraid those would be even worse.

Have you ever tried cream of rice? I'm tired of oats and was curious to try it but it requires some time on the stove

Gotta admit I dont really like oats. I tried the one you did with chocolate for a year, not a massive fan. But I just bought all the ingredients for these and hoping one of them hits the spot! No need to make a cut harder than it needs to be :)
