You are my favourite cooking channel because you show the macros breakdown for all the ingredients, making it easier for me to swap things if necessary. Plus the overnight oats is the best oats recipe I've had and I have been eating that every day for the past month. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Congrats on the sponsorship, dude. You deserve it for making such useful videos.
Thanks a ton!
I can't get over how good these all are. I use 1 full scoop (25g) of protein powder and it still tastes delicious! I add blueberries to the apple pie ans pino calada recipe as well. These have transformed my mornings!
I'm gonna try it on Monday, and if I like it it's gonna be my go to breakfast on work days. Gotta love a breakfast you can just pull out of the fridge and eat. Plus the variations make it so it won't get boring. Thank you so much!
I don't normally post on videos, but I have to say thank you for the videos you make. You've completely changed the way I look at making food, I'm healthier and happier because of it. Thank you!
Thank you so much :)
🤡
@@azca. bro why you gotta bring other people down who are actually working to improve themselves
These are great..always looking for quick breakfast ideas
Tried this just now with a little adjustments because I'm going more for weight gain and mass. This tasted good before I even put it in the fridge! Can't wait to try it in the morning at work!
This looks worth trying. Typical overnight oat recipes are very heavy on oats and water and light on "milkiness"; these options between casein and yogurt seem much better.
Best thing is that these are so simple and easy to make they're worth every minute because the end product is super tasty
Love this!! I’ve got a few anabolic overnight oat recipes saved and am looking forward to trying these, especially the carrot and banana recipes! Thank you for making these. 💪🏻
Steroids?
I love the organization and straight forwardness of your information, thank you for doing what you're doing. I work outside for a living and wouldn't mind seeing some nice lunch ideas that I can bring in my cooler????
Thank you. I will do more meal prep videos in the future. Already testing a bunch of them
Just made some of these and they're delicious! Finally some easy meal prep foods I actually wanna eat.
You can also add the cocoa powder to the banana one, and it tastes 10 times better!
Felu, I must pay my admiration to your hard work and creativity when delivering these absolutely delicious and filling recipes. This morning me and my partner had a go at the Avocado Chocolate one and it was finger licking good! Absolutely excited to try the other ones!
P.S. We also added blueberries, peanut butter and granola. Incredible!
These are so good!!! My favorite one is definitely the "banana bread". I add pb2 (sometimes chocolate flavor), replace vanilla extract with blue agave syrup, and throw mixed berries on top right before eating. Perfect breakfast dessert 😋
I haven’t been eating breakfast consistently for maybe 3 or more years, and I made the apple pie bowl last night for this morning and oh my gosh, this is the exact tool and meal I need to start better spacing out my meals. This is awesome!
i cant wait to try these! tysm
Thank you for the demonstration of whey and casein protein powders!
always happy to try diferent variations! i hope i'll find my new favourite. thanks 🤗
hopefully you will like them
I can't wait to try these!
If you are vegan, you can substitute casein for soy isolate/hydrolized protein powder. Soy protein isolate/hydrolized similarly to casein make quite thick paste when combined with water.
that's cool to know. I will definitely try this out. thank you
@@Felu Yeah the soy protein definitely absorb more water than whey from my experiments.
I've heard Soy Protein Isolate is one of the worst, is not the worst for liver health. Worse then fructose and MSG. I stay away from it.
@@patdonnelly9349 Can you give a link to a study with such claim? Im very interested. BTW -fructose and MSG are not harmful per se.
What do you sub for the Greek yogurt?
You can also use oat bran to upgrade even further. More micronutrients.
These recipes sound very good! I will try the Pina Colada and Bananabread ones next time I make oatmeal. I usually eat it with apple sauce or other fruit sauces (Alnatura has Apple+Raspberry+Black Currant Sauce for example which is delicious), Chia seeds and some cinnamon or cocoa powder depending on the fruit.
sounds great, hopefully you will like them 🙂
If anyone's been searching for a way to make it keto, try substituting 50g of oatmeal for 3tbsp of flaxseeds and 3tbsp of hemp seeds. It's like eating frosting almost
Looks very tasty! I have to try it too for 100%!
these all look amazing!! thank you for sharing! I already have all of these ingredients so it'll be easy and fun to make :D
Hope you enjoy!
I love overnight Protein oats. About half the time, I use liquid egg whites instead of powder altogether. It helps it all be a little creamier.
How many grams of egg whites do you use to replace the powder?
@@russelltokdemir3845 I usually just use 1/2 cup regardless. Then use water or almond milk for the rest. You could probably double it.
This guy is the best I’ve come across . Every dish is legit tasty as hell 🤓
I've been using a Fruit Cereal Flavored Whey with Non Fat Greek Yogurt with Instant Oats. I put them in my food processor. Sometimes I may add a few sliced strawberries. If I want it sweeter, I usually just add some Stevia. I love it. Sometimes I may omit the oats and put some lower calorie cereal with it. Such as Bran Flakes. it gives it a crunch. Obviously, I put the cereal in at the end. I make it in the morning. Perhaps I'll let it overnight to see how the flavor infuses
Maybe a bit of honey would be a good addition.. That's what I think I'd try anyway.
Many thanks !
Good ideas …
I think i will definitely give the first and last option a try. Ive been watching your recipes lately and i think these will definitely use these to help me gain muscle
As always, excellent content
All of these look really delicious 🤍
Thank you so much :)
Glad you like them!
Had overnight oats a few days ago! XD Thank you for showing us how you make them hehehehe
discovered this guy yesterday, he's a legend
Keep up the great work 👍
Felu - I made the banana bread oats, omg they were divine! I left it in the fridge for two days, that really enhanced the banana flavour even more. Thanks for what you bring to the low calorie cooking scene!
thank you 😊 I'm so glad you liked it
Can't wait for your book bro, you're a genius!!
Thank you!
trying the carrot version for tomorrow's lunch. I'm going to buy pecans and raisins for future batches. most definitely going to roast the pecans a little for that extra POP! thanks dude!
Hello, my friend! Loving your videos...I was wondering if there was a replacement to the protein powder in this recipe. Like milk. Also, can you remove the protein powder altogether and still have the recipe work?
Wow! Every time I visit this channel I find something new and delicious!! 🌟🌟🌟
thank you 😊
You are welcome, I look forward to your cookbook.
what would i do when i dont have casein and im just using whey? halve the amount of water? im also skipping on buying it since it is much more expensive here
I really enjoyed the banana one this morning ❤
Wow! Another amazing episode.
Thank you
Damn the pina colada oats looks great. Would've never thought of that combination. Thanks!
You're a life saver! Always have these in handy. Thanks for showing new variations
Thank You! Felu-
i made the Apple pie overnight oats.
this recipe is my new favorite breakfast :)
Nice :) I love the apple pie but I think the avo choc is my favorite
Hi! Can i ask how long you can keep this in the fridge before it goes bad?
hey @felu, which bowls are you using? :D Thanks
just found channel and thank you
Thanks a lot!
I usually do chocolate protein powder, PB2, and some nuts or I'll do vanilla protein powder, some berries, and nuts.
Any recommendations with chocolate casein instead?
If you have problem with glucose use full oath not that express one its much difference in that glycemic index express has above 90 thats a lot and normal less than 50 .
What can i use to substitute the protein powder? Milk powder?
try lemon curd in the pina colada one
Looks 👍. I'd prefer to toast the oats unders the grill to get rid of the anti-nutrients. If i eat oats raw i get diaria.
Can I achieve the same creamy consistency, if I dont have casein, by just not adding water? Casein is very rare where I live and only whey exists in shops.
Also would it lose its consistency if I heat it in the microwave before eating it? I like having warmer breakfasts in winter.
I toasted the walnuts real quick in a pan before putting them in the banana oats and WOWWWWW. Great stuff chef! I can stop shoveling bags of trail mix down my throat for breakfast now👍
Good stuff!
A raisins with walnuts is a must when making carrot cake oatmeal. Those little extra calories wont bother you when you try it out,you will forget about them instant, believe me. And dont forget a pinch of nutmeg. P.S. Use pinch of salt in every oatmeal you make it makes a lot of difference.
I'm so glad i clicked on this because of that Whey vs Casein powder mix tip alone
Glad you liked it!
I like overnight oats, but I feel like if I add protein powder it causes flatulence. Any experience with this, tips?
I've never hard overnight oats. Looks like a nice alternative to porridge but is there a savory version?
Can you do more overnight oats recipes please ?
You can find PB2 at cvs too
Avocado is rich in fibers I eat it with breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Felu thank you so much for the content. I've been using some of your recipes as a base/inspo for meal prep and they are cheap and delicious!
Nice, thank you 😊
Great video! Which macro counter do you use? (The one show in your videos when you show macros.)
It's called MyFitnessPall
Great channel mate, keep it up cheers
Thanks, you too!
Do i used unsweeteened yoghurt?
Hallo, von wo kaufst du diese Fage Jogurt? Ich habe überall gesucht, finde ich aber nicht.
All these oats! I love oats.
Can you just add less water to the whey? When I add just a couple Tbs, it turns out like pudding. But maybe it tastes dry when added to oatmeal.
these receipes are amazing been eating the overnight oats for almost a month now, i live in australia so i been using a brand call pure product australia micellar casein chocolate. Gonna try the avo choc receipe next week, instead of using greek joghout i might sub that with skyr yoghurt
Thank you, I'm glad you like them!
I've been eating your chocolate version that you made in a previous video for a while, but was getting a little bored with it. I tried the apple one today and it was amazing! Definitely going to be trying the others too.
Great to hear! Hope you will like them
How far in advance can you make these? I'd hate to make 5 days or a week worth and have them spoil.
This recipe has been incredible! I’ve been switching between apple and banana over the last two weeks! I’m thinking of using the base to try making a pumpkin spice overnight oats. Any thoughts? I figure using pumpkin instead of applesauce and pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon should do the trick.
Thank you. Pumpkin pie spice will absolutely work. I did it already myself. Will make a recipe as soon pumpkin season starts
Why do you use water instead of milk? Doesnt milk add more flavour and healthy stuff? Great vid i loved it and made myself some apple pie overnight oats and will taste tomorrow! Cheers
Hi Felu, I don‘t have any Casein Protein Powder at home but Xantan Gum. Can I use Whey+Xantan? I really love your recipes, keep on going :)
I have honestly never tried this with whey + xanthan gum but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work so I day try 1 recipe and see how it goes
I love overnight oats 😍 I have a similar recipe but I use Whey Isolate and Magerquark… btw. seems like you generally prefer Greek Jogurt, is there a reason why?
I buy greek yogurt or skyr depending which one is cheaper in my grocery
Love the content! New subscriber here :D how long can I keep them in the fridge though? and what r ur thoughts on switching oats with chia? Thanks in advance!
i had them in the fridge for 3 days and there were still good. i wouldn't swap out oats for chia as us almost double the calories. but 5-10g to add extra protein and fat is perfectly fine
Do the lemon one again, but use zest instead. Maybe even cook it in some sugar. It's not healthy but might hit that pina colada part.
I bought casein protein powder once, and I did like it, but it's not very popular and very difficult to find. Since I'm on a limited budget, I have to stick with whey protein for now.
Whey works just fine all you have to do is add just a little water (like you would for protein sludge - PB).
Are these recipes for single servings?
Use lemon zest instead of juice in the piña colada version, it still tastes of lemon, but isn't bitter
Edit: i was reading through the comments and got my answer but still wanted to leave a comment. Great video and really excited to try a few of these. If I’m lactose intolerant do you have a suggestion about using something that isn’t casein powdered protein? I know I’ve had to stick w whey but the creaminess of casein seems like it adds an essential component to the recipe.
Yes absolutely. Casein adds a creaminess that whey will not create. But I'm sorry to tell you what to add instead of casein. I have no idea which lactose free ingredient has the same texture
I wish my stomach tolerated anything other than Whey, the caseine version looks so good! Definitely gonna try the carrot and apple one soon, thank you for this! Always appreciate more breakfast options, especially sweet ones since I can make them as a dessert if I want to hahah
Hope you like it! Whey will be totally fine but not that thick
same surprisingly lol. inspired by this channel, i bought 5 lb casein. felt horrible. stomach burning, headaches, sent it right back and bought 5lb whey coming soon. you wouldn't think it would be an issue since they're both derived from the same product. but yeah. - note symptoms are milder when mixed with something like oatmeal. but still not enough for me to use over whey.
can you tolerate soy protein or pea protein? They also get thicker than whey.
@@weisscoaching pea is tolerable although not very filling on its own for me. soy has a similar reaction as casein, but milder. i try to avoid it. whey has been the best for me. only issue is protein farts with whey if i have to much in one go.
@@weisscoaching I have bowel issues (IBS) so I'm afraid those would be even worse.
Keep up the great videos. 😀. I am German too btw ;)
Top tier channel
Thank you!
Where do you find Steel Cut oats in Germany? is there any brand?
kölln has them
Have you ever tried cream of rice? I'm tired of oats and was curious to try it but it requires some time on the stove
No but I already have it on my video list. That is something I definitely want to try
Gotta admit I dont really like oats. I tried the one you did with chocolate for a year, not a massive fan. But I just bought all the ingredients for these and hoping one of them hits the spot! No need to make a cut harder than it needs to be :)
How long does this last in the fridge? Wondering if I can make a weeks worth and take it to work
I had it in the fridge for 3 days and was still good
Von wo bekommst du PB2? Nur aus dem Internet? Und was denkst du von More Nutritions "PB2"?
How long does it keep in the fridge?
Is it possible to meal prep these recipes?
yes absolutely. 3-4 days is totally fine
My belly always hurts when I eat overnight oats... And i hate that but because overnight oats are awesome breakfast. Super Quick at the morning so you can sleep few minutes more 😁
