People underestimate Skyr. When i was travelling in EU and was on extreme saving mode i used to eat one full pack of skyr with some fruit toppings. It will costs less than 2€ and you will get 55gr of protein with decent amount of carbs and fiber. No-brainer.
I mix vanilla or caramel whey protein with cottage cheese and add fruit for a sweet breakfast. With quality whey you can make this up to 50 grams of protein and about 300 calories and it’s really good. Could even make dessert
Honestly idk how people can bate broccoli, its really amazing if you cook it right. Here's a side dish i made that i can share: Ingredients: 100 g broccoli 125 g chicken breasts - cut the chicken breasts into short strips - season them with any seasoning (i used garlic salt and cajun seasoning) - add a teaspoon of oil to the pan and stiry fry those breasts -once chicken breasts are cooked, add broccoli and add a pinch of salt. Serve with rice, noodle, or eat jt alone Total: 302 calories 40 g protein
I love shrimp but I keep getting mild reactions like getting a bump on my lip and my throat swelling but still able to breathe. But I found a way to go around this, I would cook the shrimp until they become shriveled and tough, that was, its juices won’t have any effect on me if I cook them away, and now I eat shrimp with no side effects
I am Polish and I used to get a lot of my protein from no fat twaróg. It has around 19g of protein and 3.5g of carbs in 100g. Now that I live abroad and it's hard to get my hands on it, I substitute it with low fat mozzarella.
Another cheat code with dairy: if you need the consistency of cream but doesn't impact the flavor of your dish greatly, mix non fat greek yogurt with fat free or 1% milk until you get the consistent you're looking for
0:35 I agree with that approach. I am only interested in the nutritional information presented per 100 calories. It would be essential to specify this information in the following format: calories per 100 grams, followed by the remaining details per 100 kcals. But, as it would be usefull an correct, we will not see that.
hey Felu, what's the oil spray can you're using? Could you link me to it? It seems like you're living in Germany as well so it should be easy for me to find.
Felu, loved this video and I had 2 questions: 1) Any tips for meal prepping if I get sick of eating the same foods? 2) Do you worry about the GI index for purposes of losing weight? Like I hate sweet potato but love potato but am worried about the GI (assuming Im overweight but otherwise healthy but my parents both have diabetes thats why Im wary)
Felu, could you link the spray bottle for the oil that you use in the video please? I'm lucky enough that my parents in Italy make their own olive oil since they have like 80 trees in their backyard but I never found the right bottle for the oil

Random sidenote, I really wish we could get those half dozen packs of eggs in America I've never seen them anywhere but in videos with europeans, and they seem so convenient, I don't eat a ton of eggs, so when I buy a whole dozen, more often than not they go bad long before I can finish it.
I also live im Germany but couldnt be able to find oil spray, where did you buy? Great content, very informative bi the way. Also, do you have a weekly recipe for high protein intake for weight gaining, around 3000 calories a day?

Hi. I would be interested knowing which olive oil spray bottle you use? I couldn’t find it on the linked Amazon list. I tried a few from Amazon but they didn’t really work great. Do you have a recommendation?
Hi Felu, is there an alternative for Exquisa cream cheese widely available in the American market? I’ve tried searching and nothing matches the macros of .2% Exquisa coming in at 80 cal and 10g protein. Laughing cow is very close but something in a box with spreadable cheese would be great.
But hear me out coz this question is probably common for you. I can weight the chicken raw at 150g and its 32g protein right? So when its cooked it no longer weights 150, is it still 32g protein. I need to know this from the source, meaning you Felu
Egg whites(Albumin) are alone pretty inflammatory to the gut. The fat and nutrients in the egg yold help balance out this with its anti-inflammatory properties. So for this reason, it's actually better to eat the whole egg for the increased digestability. This only applies to pasture raised eggs though, otherwise you definitely dont want the yolk in your body💀
i like to eat one of those 500gram "mager quark" from netto. easy 60grams of protein. a little bit of milk and 1 or 2 drops of sweetener and 1 sliced apple. not the best taste, but nice stats.
If you have a scale, the best way to know exactly how much oil it sprays is to put it in the scale before spraying and then after to see the difference.

I'm not sure how are potatos so high on satiating ranking. I can eat whole baking sheet of baked potatoes in one sitting :( I have to avoid them like plague or I will overeat.

Hi, you mentioned the egg white contains more protein per 100g than egg yolks. This is a myth, it's not true. Yolks contain 16g per 100g, while egg whites contain 11g per 100g.
Definitely interesting to watch, though I was more interested in the amount of protein. It seems shrimp and chicken is the best option in terms of calories/protein ratio.

Skyr is quite expensive in my country…
