Amazing work! Im trying to add a custom fbx animation but it doesnt seem to be working, is there any tutorials on how to make and export fbx animations that you suggest?
@@RoyalsAndRogues using from blender. Made a simple spaceship with 3 different objects parented to this main ship. These objects go up and down and basically function as air breaks
@@spottedhyenaOwO Just tried a blender export with my plane model and it two Spheres parented to it and it works fine for me. Is it not coming in at all? Be sure to double check the master scale (you can click "fit scale to simulation in the latest version scale and orientation are the usual culprits for me ) Also when exporting from blender be sure to check "back animation" and make sure the animation is a reasonable length by adjusting how many frames the dope sheet is.
I think you best bet for that would be using a particle emitter and exporting the particles as alembic files and replacing the points with arrows or tracing them with lines
Not sure what you mean exactly. If you mean you have an aerospace client who wants to use embergen for drag and friction testing for real world applications, then no. Embergen is not a scientific research tool. If they want visualizations of turbulence it can do that but it is a vfx program for films and games and not a scientific/research tool.
The best places to look would be: Render Node> Export > Image Size Shading Node > Rendering > Raymarch Sharpening > Check on and slide up as needed (Usually works like a charm) Shading > Smoke (or whatever you want to sharpen) > Density limit/clamp Volume Processing Node > Post Processing> play with Negative Dilate and Sharpen (If you have motion blur or something this might be the culprit) Simulation> Simulation Size> Upscaling > x2-x3 ‼ Requires a lot of GPU memory Good luck @rajkart

I don't have the trial version but it should give you full access for a 2 weeks then cut off. You can test Blender compatibility with their free VDB's. Look up any "how to render VDBs in blender" to make it work.

I really need a tutorial on using Embergen to simulate combustion. 1. The explosion must happen inside a contained custom volume at -65 degrees. 2. The explosion must be able to be compressed as the piston raises up. 3. Need a spark effect to ignite the explosion and create a realistic explosion spreading out from said spark in slow motion. 4. Explosion needs to transition into smoke, and exit through an exhaust. I can't find anything that would even support this.

If you are talking about the post modulation try bringing your source, and ramping curve Min % up.

is there a way to hide the model? so that the only visible is the smoke that takes shape on the model's body ?
Yeah, just click the collider node go to visuals and uncheck show shape.
The shortcut for show shapes is "H" so hitting that should also remove them.

It should be under "collider" > "shapes" >Import
If not you need to update your software.
