    Would you take this technique one step further by opening the blade and if so would you sweep across the line of flight or along it?
    Thanks

    I started doing this method this year. I just wanted a simple way to chip around the greens. Also, To keep my hands quiet, I actually installed jumbo max ultr light (s) grips on my 54 and 58.

    Hi Alex, seems so simple, too good to be true! Can't wait to try it out, just wanted to question the power behind the shot as you do not seem to cover off on this? i realise it will be a trial and error at first until i understand how hard i need to hit the ball to get say 20, 30, 40mts etc but do i have to swing harder with the high lofted version as compared to the low closed face version? Hope you can spare the time to respond, really enjoy your channel!

    Hey Alex, I have a couple of questions about putting: do you use your torso or shoulders to swing the club and how do you start the downswing? Do you pull it back and let the weight of the club fall towards the ball or is it another feel?

    Alex, quick question regarding this method: is it workable from the fringe or greenside rough? Are there any adjustments that one needs to do, or is another technique needed?
    I've been working on my short game using something very similar in a Phil Mickelson video, but yours gives better info on hand position.

    • @AlexElliottGolf

    I have actually entertained this technique before aka steve stricker, just worries me feeling like having to be so rigid PLUS the hardest kill shot for me is the short sided, little green to work with tight lie and feel like I would be brutal

    Everybody that shows chipping on YT has a nice cushion of grass around the green to chip from. What about when the grass is very thin and it's not smooth enough to putt it? This situation is very aggrevating for me. HELP

    • @interestedbystander196

    You ARE using your wrists. That slight hinge as you finish your backswing makes all the difference. Just saying

    • @steveschwab922
      @steveschwab922 Місяць тому +4

      I interpret dead hands to mean limp, not stiff. I notice my wrists hinge if I take a large enough swing using my chest. The weight of the club head pulls my hands back and forward.
      But honestly I feel like I am rocking my shoulders more than I feel like I am moving my chest.

    • @AlexElliottGolf
      @AlexElliottGolf  Місяць тому +2

      for sure but IM feeling no to little wrist that is the focus of this dill
