Another super video and well explained. Golfers are so eager to skip important points and want to hit as hard as can as soon as possible. That’s why at driving range most are hitting drivers and almost swinging off their feet. It is so important to get the fundamentals right and the swing has a good grounding to enable more power and subsequently more distance. Keep up the good work.

in 15 years we have never played in April as it is too wet or we have snow...last week we played (well I thought we played LOL). I am now 1 week behind on your videos. I used the club up and choke down to make an effortless swing. It worked even without working on it on the range. Next week I will use the 8iron tip to get back to good golf again. Short game was terrible I will need to watch your 100 yard in videos. Thanks Alex for the video!

Hi Alex, question: seemingly all great golfers use forged / small sweet spot irons which is contradictory to tennis, where the greats are using enormous oversized rackets. Can you help me understand why bigger isn’t better in golf?
It may have to do with the stationary ball in golf vs the moving ball in tennis.

Yesterday I went to the range working on fixing an over the top swing. I hit driver better than ever and it felt natural. I flubbed EVERY shot I hit off the ground. If I teed the ball up even a tiny bit I could hit irons ok. Off the ground was absolutely unplayable. Rant over.
I had the same problem. What I do now is to start my iron swing with a forward press where I move 60 to 70 % of my weight to the lead foot. I then try to keep it there as long as I can during the backswing.
