Alex I appreciate your videos. I have actually started doing the slower swing and will incorporate your drills to become more consistent. Keep up the great work. A South Carolina fan.
Don't know if you'll read this, but on phase one I was told to point my shoulder at the ball and end the other on the ball. If you look at your form it's exactly what you are doing. Will try phase 2 and 3 of your lesson tomorrow! Thanks from Texas!
Great tips again as always Alex! Definitely going to have to give this a try, recently the wheels seem to have come off both of my long and short striking. I go from thin to fat but mostly fat. Something I've taken up to circumvent my poor iron play on while on the course is to utilize my 4H or even just recently a new skill I seem to have acquired is a driver off the deck which I never even thought of doing in the past. My perception is that I have focused a lot on my driver of late and have really been getting that working for me, but seemingly it has affected my iron swing. I'll definitely be giving this a try to see if I can reset my muscle memory and get my iron play back.
Great video Alex, this works, I've been playing around with this a few weeks back and I'm getting more consistent with my shots, will tweak a bit using this video
Another Great video Alex. Looking forward to my course opening in Another 4-6weeks so I can get back out and put my winter practice to the test. Cheers
Another great video and so well explained. Why is it that a lot of club golfers have the same fault and despite numerous lessons seem to revert back to their original fault in time. There are not many that retain the change of swing that they learnt in their lesson!
My father in law played this exact swing, even stopping “half way” in his back swing to set his hands and wrist position, to multiple club championships in his 50’s and 60’s. He mentioned Peter Jacobson’s “waiter position” at the top as his primary swing thought.
*This is all it takes! GET 1/2 way back just like this you will have control & power in your entire golf swing*
Alex went to course today once I settle in 50 front 42 back with your TIPS. Thank you!
Great lesson!!!!
AE Golf lessons-tips always effective and fun to waych!
Glad you like them! thank you!!
Becoming a fan, Alex! Never heard that right elbow in front of the right rib cage tip before; that’s a good one! Wish I knew that sooner
Patrick, I highly recommend joining the Saturday club...you will become addicted to this channel because his tips really work
Just wanted to say I'm just getting started,.couple lessons,.your videos, love it!

Alex, your videos are absolutely the best. Thanks so much for all your effort.
Thank you Tony! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
The basics are always the best. Thank you.
I hope it helps

Thanks! And i know; it’s a good point!
Great video as always Alex, your tips never disappoint! Can you do a video with drills on how to use the ground correctly to generate power?
Thanks! Yeah courses - will try and cover this in another video
Thanks alex... i will try it 😊
Please do!
I am in much better control with a half swing and achieve greater results. Thanks again Alex.
Thanks, Alex. I've used this and some of your last few videos, and now I have dropped at least 15 shots from my 9 handicap 😉
Nice work!
Alex, I have not seen any instructor advocate turning the left elbow out and away from the body when the swing is initiated.

Exactly! 👍🏼 we all can do this!!
I finally figured out who Alex reminds of. One of my favorite actors, Kenneth Branagh. ⛳ (Wallender, Shackleton) 🙂
THanks Alex, wear navy trousers on muddy days mate.
What mechanics do you pay attention to to keep the club at the right distance from the ground and hitting up into the ball
Great question!! Keep your eyes on the channel
I’m playing tomorrow (Monday). I’ll let you know how it goes.
Look forward to hearing about it!!
@@AlexElliottGolf I worked fine when I did it correctly. My 4iron is the only one I’m have trouble with.
Great video as ever Alex….. why are there never any other players on your course? Is it a membership of 1? 😂
Haha, i always make sure there is no one near me when filming 😂
They are not half swings though are they? They are almost full backswings
They feel half - it will all-ways ride longer with momentum
That recent comment I was speaking of driver
💪👏☝️
Appreciate it
What only 3 stages this time ? 😂
James, tom and joe. Do you train anyone without a popular name? 😅
Yeah
🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌
Have you noticed your “half” swing is in fact much more of a full swing
Lead arm parallel, half swing!
SET UP. BALANCE. SMASH IT
Youre not bad but stop promising things that won't happen. It's bollocks and click bait.
Okay
