Video look familiar? If so, it's because you've seen Nicola's version of this collaboration - this is mine - with my finds and how they cleaned up and history behind them. If you enjoyed this - see more of my Mudlarking videos here! bit.ly/337N6Yc
I like the younger crowd getting into history
I agree! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Nice to see kids with interests in things other than daft computer games or moaning they’re bored.
Yes so sweet to see them getting into this hobby..
It is so encouraging to see two young men outside doing something worthwhile and interesting as well as having UA-cam channels. Thanks Si and Nic for encouraging them
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Oh my gosh, Simon, the torpedo bottle with the fairy lights is STUNNING 😲🥰!!! So touching and wonderful to see the both of you mentoring the next generation of mudlarkers 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. 😊🤗🤭😘
Thank you Juliet, it turned out great! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Oh wow I absolutely love the New Cross bottle! It's beautiful! Thank you. You're so clever 💗
My pleasure Nic, I’ll bring it on the next mudventure! 👍🏻🐾🧡
@@Sifinds thank you! Yes we need a mudventure soon and I have your mud cave present which I need to give you!
Passing on and learning new information and new locations, with the younger “mudders.” I love how you incorporate, or share, along with others. You have a generous heart.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I love that you and Nicola joined these two young mudlarks on this outing! You all had some great finds and your upcycling as always is the best...I especially how you displayed Nic's bottle. It's lovely:)
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
The flagon top is good to stick in the gravel in a fish tank. Gives the illusion it's complete and provides a bedroom for the fish 👍🍺
Awesome idea! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I commend you both,and here’s why:
Young people are in peril right now.
History is so often lost to them, and they are, proverbially speaking, doomed to repeat it.
Simon,Nicola, the both of you are securing the love of history to young people.
This is vitally important!
Cheers to you both, for your kind and priceless work!
I absolutely love the upcycle you did for Nic. Its beautifully done!!!!
Fantastic day this was. 🌟🌟Haha Banksc Adam during Covid Period. I wonder who Adam is Now ...😂
It was indeed! Location No.2 next!
@@Sifinds Indeed!
My cousin and I were mudlarkers back when we were kids on a muddy bay in Delaware, USA. We found treasures and wore boots and beach clothes. We got hosed down then helped clean the fish, peel corn on the cob and the rest was up to the grown ups. We love your adventures, artistic creations and history lessons as our families were from GB. Thank you!
That’s awesome thanks Sandy!
How lovely the lamp-bottle you made for Nic! I wish so much to visit you and go for a mud-walk with both of you....
Stay healthy and always have nice finds!
Thanks! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Love the bottle that you did for Nicola. Liked seeing the younger generation mudlarking, too. You’re a great mentor.
Thanks Kath! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Emery’s broken vessel is a large crucible for the smelting of metals.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
@@Sifinds You bet! Good array of embossed bottles too!!
Yup. Beat me to it
Wow mudlarking vicariously through all my favourite people!! Thanks for all you do for our learning and enjoyment. So very appreciated during these times! Thank you thank you very much!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Aw thanks Gianna! Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
That was a great hunt and round up. Thanks for taking us along!!
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Real nice hunt. Nice of you to help out the younger larkers. That was a awesome gift you made for Nicola.👍
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
This was a wonderful video. How kind of you and Nicola to take the time to support the young mudlarkers. So nice to see the younger generation interested in the past. Absolutely love what you did with Nicola’s bottle. Your artistic creativity shines again. Have a great week and keep safe.
Thank you kindly Diann!
Adam and Emri make me smile!
mud loving brings the generations together, I have noticed that before
Thank you Marcel! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Lights were fab. Keep a plank of driftwood, turn some ball feet and drill holes in2 plank 2 drop the torpedo bottles in.
I love that you take all of those beautiful broken bottles that would otherwise be left behind and turn them into something useable and desirable. Nicola's bottle looks wonderful with the lights.
Thank you!!
Love the light! I would have driven myself crazy for at least an hour trying to figure out how to stand it up the other way.
Great fun with new friends and Nicola, thanks for taking us along. Have an awesome day Si.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
My four favorite murklarders!! 👍🏻👍🏻♥️♥️👍🏻👍🏻
Adam and his mate Emri are Kings Of Filming. He makes the most beautifull artistic videos while larking, Nikola is the Queen Of The Pipebowls and Si-Fi is the King Of Upcycling. He goes to exciting places and finds and upcycle lots of beautifull bottles.
Love to watch you all. 😃
Greetings from the Netherlands 🌷💮🌷
Thanks Imca! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Adam and Emri sure showed you a nice spot, I also love that the younger generation has an interest in history.
Si Finds crossing the Rubicon/muddy slope, nice lol.
It's great seeing boys/kids interested in something other than video games. Turning Nicola's bottle into a fairy lamp is genius.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Si teaching the young dudes about their finds was so lovely! Great video guys! 👍😊
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Skittle bottles sit in tea cup. Love the Ivy lamp.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Hey Si, you could make the skittle bottle into a lamp . Little lights inside would be beautiful
That certainly put the mud in mudlarking! You were so great with boys 🙂
Thank you! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Great day all around!
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
you guys are priceless!
It's great to see young people interested in history and "hands on" can be more interesting than reading about it. Emery's vessel is a crucible for smelting metal. I love what you did with Nicola's torpedo bottle! Super neat!! I always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing!
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
That torpedo bottle with lights!
Great video and it was lovely to see youngsters getting involved in mud larking - they had some great finds.
I loved your collection of water bottles too and I thought that the lamp you made for Nic from her bottle waa beautiful.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Awesome mudlarking Si! Love all the finds! Amazing that all the bottles were bottled water. The work you did on Nic's bottle is beautiful. Thanks for everything. Kelly/Indiana
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
The up cycle for Nicola came out gorgeous😍
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
No worries about dual footage, just a different perspective!
Si your creations are wonderful.
Awesome finds! Always glad to see you and Nik collaborating and sharing the love of mudlarking!

You’ve done a terrific job up cycling Nicola’s torpedo bottle. I’m sure she was impressed.
She loved it. Thanks 👍🏻🐾🧡
Simon, you are so clever! I love what you did with Nicole’s bottle! I also always look forward to hearing what you’ve researched on the history of your finds!
Cheers Donna!!👍🏻🐾🧡
love the upcycle you made for Nicky. You've really gone above and beyond on this one. She is absolutely going to love it. Nice to see you oldtimers (tee hee) helping the young ones with getting going with their adventures.
Haha thanks Janice 👍🏻🐾🧡
WAWA is a large chain now which we all love. WAWA is a native Indian name where the the famous WAWA dairy farm all began in Pennsylvania, USA
Love what you did with the bottle for Nicola.
That's it, I'm packing my bags and moving east! Your rivers and beaches are so much better than the ones round here!
Edit: Just read the other comments... Us mudlovers love seeing you and Nic together ❤️ and we understand that this may result in some cross over of footage (most of us do anyway!) Don't ever stop your collaborations in fear of us seeing repeated content ❤️😘💕
Thanks Beth! Much appreciated 😊👍🏻👣🧡
@Beth Dixon ❤'d your "Edit." It would be a shame to see collaborations stoppd in fear of repeating footage. To me, it's like getting to watch a good movie twice!
FANTASTIC water bottle lamp !!! OLD NOTTS. LADY, USA 😍
I LOVE LOVE my upcycled bottle from your store! Thank you Simon! 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Love what you did with the bottle for Nicola !
This was a great video! This site seems like it has lots of treasures yet to be found. I just 💕 your fairy lamp-so calming to just look at it. Thanks for all you do.
I love what you do si. Wish I could too xx
Wow! Wonderful upcycling!!
Great that you and Nicola inspiring those two young boys. It's nice that those boys are interested in the old relics of the past. I like how you fixed up Nic's bottle. 👍
Thanks Lee! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
It just ASTOUNDS me how stuff is just EVERYWHERE in these spot! Incredible.
agree ! what an amazing place
It’s not really astounding considering the brickworks right next to this creek used to transport bricks into London by barge, and then bring town ash (rubbish) back from London by barge to use as materials to make the bricks. That’s why it’s all there.
Thumbs up to Adam!
😊👍🏻👣🧡
Awesome finds all round, and it’s nice meeting new mud larkers. Well done guys. Stay safe and well 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨✨ love the up cycling too awesomeness
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Great video and hunt in the mud. Very cool that you brought the boys with you. Very educational and I believe witnessing the enthusiasm for the collection of history is contagious.
Thank you Jay! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Loved
Great stuff, so nice to see kids interested in a cracked pot as opposed to a crack pipe.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Good job stayin on top. Nick! Haha
Thank you Mary! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
You made a cracking job of Nicola's bottle, Si...looks great😊 I'm keeping my finger's crossed for some more upcycling content, love watching you create something new from something old. It fascinates me how you turn wood etc. Thanks for another brilliant video.
Thanks so much! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Loved this. So nice to see the youngsters being interested in mudlarking. Also loved the torpedo bottle light.
Cheers Scot! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Barrett’s Brewery was based in Vauxhall (Bondway) and made Stout and Ginger Beer. If it was mineral water it might have said Barrett’s-Eler instead.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I love the varieties of the bottles. Beautiful and love the history of them. 🥰
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Thanks for sharing, you are so talented. Love the blue one . It looks like an egg in a nest, beautiful. I'm sure Nicky love it. Love watching you guy's 🥰
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Pretty good place in finding those bottles but really muddy. Nice to see some young ones taking an interest in mudlarking. Not too bad finding all those things there.
I forgot to mention. I absolutely love what you did with the bottle and turning it into a light. Beautiful!
Thank you Sally! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I love the upcycled bottle with the lights and ivy. Very cool!
Thanks Shanne 👍🏻🐾🧡
Watching these videos weekly are making me want to come to London so much! Would love to ask you some advice when you have time Si. Thanks for your content- always cracking background music too!
Cheers David! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Good afternoon everyone. Great finds. 👍🐺
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Ha ha, I should have waited til the clean up. Well done
I love the way you displayed Nick’s bottle. You really have an artist’s touch. ♥️♥️♥️
Nice to meet the kids! I love your little fairy lamp! TFS Hugs!
Thanks Margaret! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Nice one Si & Nic! You’ve gave those youngsters great future memories ❤️
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
The torpedo bottle light was very clever.
Thank you guys! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Hi Si, I knew the difference in the videos. Of course you and Nic and the boys were together, so some filming would look the same. I watched the whole thing and definitely knew it was different with your round up at end. Nic ‘s bottle came really nice. I’m sure she loved it. My Dad always would say don’t jump the gun, give it some time. Thanks Si. Stay safe. Joyce/America 🇺🇸🙋♀️. ARROW *🎱
Thank you Joyce, trouble is some people do jump the gun - expression must have something to do with starting a race!?! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Yes, from track and field races. As early as the 1900’s. Your spot on sir. 🙋♀️🌹
I enjoy watching you upcycle your finds!!!
Thank you Karen! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
This is such a lovely video.
There's a lot of gatekeeping in hobbies, I know that from my interest in entomology, the fact that you're willing to educate these children is just so nice.
Cheers James 👍🏻🐾🧡
The closest thing I've come to mudlarking over here in the U.S. was when my grandpa in New York let us metal detect his yard and dig it up. I found 2 bottle necks that had O.K. embossed on them, a metal bottle cap from an old Italia bottle, and many pieces of a 1955-1959 Clorox Bleach jug, including parts of the embossing and half of the bottle neck with the handle still intact. My mom was laughing at how excited I was to dig in a hole littered with broken glass. Can't wait to maybe do it next year when we go back out to visit him.
The thrill is n the hunt! You never know what you might find. true you have to dig a lot of crap, but every now and again you'll find a gem! Wishing you much luck in the muck!
Hi Blakeley, I don't know if you researched the OK bottle necks but HP sauce is a well known brand in the UK.
Could be from the OK corral ? Oops, getting carried away now.
@@michaeldicker4839 I tried to research the bottle necks multiple times now and have come up with nothing. The OK embossed on the bottle is pretty much cursive, but searching around that theme has lead me nowhere. I did happen to find a picture of some bottles that had it on the bottom, which claimed they were a specific brand of club soda bottle (which I don't doubt. I figured they were either soda or sparkling water bottles) but when I went to research the name brand I got, something totally different came up. So I've tried to research them, I just keep ending up in the same place I start. I don't think it was very popular since I couldn't find anything on them, but then again, what are the chances I find the necks of two of them right next to each other? One is green and one is clear, so I have absolutely no clue what they are. 🤷♀️
I recognise this place! I normally wander up the other end towards the mill. Great video. Can't believe I've only just seen this!
Scotland video was a fun watch too. Was up at ruby bay the other week. Beautiful place 💜
Awesome lark Si, truly for mud lovers, the lights you used, I also use, I make lamps out of plastic water bottles. Excellent work Si.🇨🇦🐘💜
Sounds great Marion!
Simon I love your "cleanups" and that bottle light was gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Nice hunt and cute reuse of the old bottle. Take care folks! 🦘🐾🐱👤👍
Thank you SW! 👍🏻🐾🧡
I love the bottle you up- cycled for Nicola . That is something I do with bottles I've bought. Something about the antique glass though (and the ivy in the little lid was an awesome idea)that gives it a mystical look. You and Nicola really took the boys under your wing that was awesome.😊
Thanks Mary!! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Si you are a role model, that is so awesome!
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
@@Sifindsyw
Wonderful to go over the finds. Great to see kids out and about as too many sit inside playing games. The bottle lamp for Nic is so pretty. I loved seeing all the upcycled bottles at the end.
Thank you Coni! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Love what you did with Nicolas bottle , it’s beautiful xx
Thans Carol! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I had the same idea, not exactly, but that was awesome and considerate of you to make that for her 👍😻
Love the light it’s clever.
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I love your videos, keep up the great work! enjoying every minute of them while it snows here in Flint, Michigan :)
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
All his videos are great so check them out. In Michigan myself
Mudlarkers are the best. I really like how you are so generous with each other, sharing finds and thinking about who likes what.
Cheers Chris! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Sorry for your loss. He was a very interesting man.
Hello Mud Lover's love your videos every one have blessed day
Thank you Mary! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Simon, you're a good man and artisan! You take things of the past and make them beautiful. The lamp you did for Nic, Lovely! And out with the Mud Lovers in training, what fun! I used to explore old dumps and plowed fields looking for anything interesting. Back then I wasn't nearly as picky as today. But I never passed up an interesting piece of glass or inscription on a side panel of bottle to look up. Thanks Kindly Si Finds for the adventure and your creative efforts to preserve and make beautiful our heritage. Oh yes, and that crude piece the boys found, I thought it looked like a crucible for melting metal but a sugar mold is a good guess as well. I'm glad you all weren't swallowed up inna muck but the risk is more than worth it! Love and Peace and Joy of Spirit! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Thanks DJ!! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Adam has the deepest adolescent voice...I was surprised.
Haha, I’ll take that as a complement 😁
Great finds!
Great video Si. Nic's bottle was ace!!
