FYI for folks here in the States, the program he mentions Time Team, is on Amazon Prime! Almost all 20 seasons of it. Amazing show for history buffs!
Funny old bunch aren’t they?
The episodes are also on UA-cam.
There is also a Time Team Official UA-cam channel. They have raised enough Patreon support to begin to make new episodes
For free on you tube now
As a sea glass addict, this would be wonderfully overwhelming
Right???? I just want to touch it all.
@@amywood748 Yes! We call them Mermaid Tears in the US
Right ??????
I wish I was there !
I would be in heaven 😍
@@julietaylor7297 I live at the beach in the US. I've heard a few people call it that but locals call it seaglass.
Was just thinking the same thing!
Si you need to offer mudlarking expeditions to tourists. I would LOVE to spend a few days looking for treasures on the Thames!
My wife and I were married in British Columbia. We honeymooned on the coast. We spent some time beachcombing. I picked up a lot of shells, ropes and wood. One piece of wood was used to display our wedding picture. I wish we had more time to do those things again.
In my landlocked home in Midwest USA, I'd be in heaven amongst all that sea glass 😍🤩
Another tremendous video Si. They honestly get better and better. Also, thanks for always uploading videos north of 20 minutes. The longer the better. Stay well man.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡 Tell your friends!

Sea glass for Nicola and her art work!
You should start the episode with "In this episode you will need scissors, glue, and multiple glass shards. Please, ask grown ups for assistance with the scissors, if needed." Nice cinematography! Amazing action shots of a bike ride! ;)
Haha Thanks Karin! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Nice one Si. Love seeing Nelly/Nelson again, great little side kick. Have a great week.
Just WOW sea glass resin glasses. Who would have thought. I raise a glass to you mate from me n Mini Si
Cheers 🍺
I miss time team, but thankfully channels like yours have somewhat filled the void
I’d argue ours are far better, we find much more than they do!
@@Sifinds Yes, I much prefer these type of youtube channels, the big TV shows can be very formulated & overproduced.
So glad I'm not the only one that says "wowser"! 😂
Not only is your Mudlover adventures always amazing, you as a person seem so fascinating! You show the Mudlover and crafter, and have so many friends that enjoy both with you, I would say you you are a pretty great guy! I wish we could see more of who you are as person in your daily life! As always a fan and Mudlover!
Hi Kelly. What you see is what you get with me, but I must admit I get very enthusiastic about artefacts, history and art, and of course Mudlarking, I’m just a nice normal guy x
Ahahahahahahah normal @si-finds???????? I must admit when I met Si and Nic they are just as you see them on the tube, Nic brought an enormous picnic and her beautiful bubbly self and Si was his usual excited quippy self. Love you guys and love your content xxx
Afternoon Si, the cups are absolutely stunning, just like looking down into a rock pool, with all the tiny bubbles just adds to the affect, people often collect and pick up little bits on the beach, and they could be made into memory cups,as a reminder of their holiday or special moments with someone that was walking along with them, the old post office sack is, very good look like a giant penny black stamp, your so creative and l love to watch you,as you share your ideas as soon as they are born, brilliant,xx take care so 💋
Thanks so much Anna!! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Nelson and a Brew, drippy lung tonic, cold windy luck in the muck, thanks for the Sunday take along ,with you. Great vid.
My pleasure 👍🏻🐾🧡
The Banksy-esque post office piece is crazy cool
Cheers pal 👍🏻🐾🧡
Love the sea glass tumblers!! Well done Si!!
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡 Tell your friends!
over here in Australia you wouldn’t pickup any bluebottles 😀
I love that you show how you use your finds. Making art out of "trash". That's special!
Brilliant what you did with the old post sack. You've a great imagination.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Obviously Nelson is a connoisseur of finely-crafted hand-made sea-glass glasses and is voicing his approval.
haha! Right Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
The glasses are outstanding, the air bubbles left really make these unique, well done!!
Thanks Kenny 👍🏻🐾🧡
Another great video bro. You and Nicola have become part of my Sunday afternoon ritual.
The postal sign and the resin sea glass beakers are splendid!
Honey once you name the cat , it’s no longer a stray, it’s your cat . Lovely up cycling.
Wow you U.K. folks find all the amazing finds !
Love watching you turning history into art ! Hello from across the pond 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Your upcycling projects are absolutely stunning this week.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡Appreciate that
Fantastic episode. Love the upcycled bottles AND the resin glasses. Wow wow wow
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
OBSESSED!! I'm a Si-lover!! Thanks for your kindness to Nelson - there are too many un-loved stray and abandoned animals in this world. I have 2 strays that I adore.
Aw. Cats rock
Luck in the muck with Si, wonderful with my morning coffee.☮️🇨🇦You are so artistic Si. The sign is gorgeous. Actually everything is gorgeous.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
I love that you are taking all those old items and giving them new life
Thanks!!
You have a definite talent for these restoration, Simon. Great job restoring these glass bottles. Cheers! Great to see Nelson again! 🇬🇧😉👍🇺🇸
Cheers matey!
The beakers turned out really neat! Couldn't help but think of Nicola and her glass fish when I saw all of the sea glass.
The two sea glass glasses are fantastic Simon. Well done x
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Love all the upcycled projects especially the sea glass. It's nice to see Nelson again too. You said he was a stray cat. Did you adopt him and he now lives with you? I hope so.
Yes it looks that way 🐈⬛ 😂
My kitties...Leo DiCatprio, Goldilocks, Princess Brulee, Reese's Pieces and Keikers (Momma) sends a "Meow" to Nelson!
I was like don't leave the beach yet, I'm not done looking. But imagine it was super cold. Stunning piece with Post Office tote. Absolutely loved ❤ the sea glass tumblers. #catlover #mudlover
@@Sifinds - Isn’t it always! They do pick their purrrson! But I only had one in my life that loved mud!
You are so talented. Never lose your creative side, let it continue to thrive.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡Appreciate that
I’ll bet Nicola is jealous of all of that sea glass. Nice job, Si.
This was my favorite day with you. Wish i could find some place here near me in the states that was covered in finds like youve had. I learn so much from all of you. Thanks for the share🇺🇸
Thanks so much 👍🏻🐾🧡
Si, you are so knowledgeable about your finds. I feel like I get a history lesson in each video. I’ve learned so much from watching you. Thank you !! Stay safe & well always. ~ Karyn 🌼
Thanks Karyn!!
Easily my favourite type of episode. Pretty day of mudlarking, watching creativity in process and a great cat. So uplifting, thanks for putting together this video.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡Appreciate that
Just the greatest 😊♥️
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
I don't see how you can pull yourself away from that place. There was so much cool stuff there. You have to go back! Loved your finds and what you did with them.❤🇺🇸
The resin sea glass cups would make lovely candle holders. And I liked the art piece you made with the post office bag: very clever with the queen’s silhouette. Very crafty, Si!
Love the Post Office bag up-cycling, what a great idea ( would be nice fight for someone born in 1979 )
Hi Si your filming technics and music choices are soooo good, I could feel the cold with you. Interesting finds and love your up cycling
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
I've been binge watching Time Team this week, funny you mention them! Your history is just so much older than ours! From Michigan, USA.
Thanks Cath! Yes it’s a great programme can’t wait for the new series
try coming from New Zealand, we are so young
@@serenadavis8289 you took the words right out of my mouth! 😂
But a beautiful place to live. I lived in the South lsland, Duneden for 3 years. Great country. 💕💕
I wouldn't be so sure of that, look up the Cerutti Mastodon site, said to be evidence of humans, or Denisovans as far back as 130,000 years! Also, Topper in the Carolinas, and Bluefish caves in the Yukon.
All evidence that the "Clovis first" model may be horribly wrong about American history. Like the 600 megalithic structures they recently found in the Peruvian Amazon.....
My green eyes get even greener watching your vids! Never say never one day I'll get a M/lark license 👍🏻
You have to get a LICENSE to dig in the mud at a trash dump?
🇨🇦🏴. Well, when this guy said he was going to take that dirty old full of holes post bag home and put it in a frame, I thought he was completely bonkers!🤦♀️. and thought, why the hell would he want to do that?! It is terrible!🤦♀️. Then, when I watched all that he did with it and the end product, it was fabulous! I loved it❣️. Then there was the sea glass! I thought the little bottles were cute, but then he made those glasses, I was amazed again!! Very clever this guy.

Always am amazed at the upcycling, recycling & the CREATIVITY that brings life into these once again...👍👏
I have stopped watching you as you seem oblivious to the incessant wind noise
@@lynnes698 wind noise was at the start. The rest was perfect.
@@lynnes698 oh no!! How will I cope 😭
Lynne S wind noise! Blimey you should come here after Brussels sprouts 💨
I was in hog heaven when I found Time Team video's a few years back. Recently I found another channel showing them, some I had not seen, some I had forgotten and the joy just keeps on giving. I am a closet archeologist. Read books, magazines, and video's on all things old.
Nice one!!
Love the tumblers! I can see the addictive nature of this, and how satisfying!
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
The Post Office hanging was so clever. Very artistic 👏👏👏
Holy Cow!!! Your imagination is truly appreciated !!!! Thanks for the inspirations! Can you imagine all kinds of things in that resin??? Its so fun watching you hunt and create!

Si you need to come up with some kind of pack that redistributes weight so you can lug more stuff out. There’s probably already something available out there. I hate seeing you have to pass on things because the bag is getting heavy.
A crane perhaps? lol
Sea glass glasses are beautiful. I'm not sure I would have put the queen's silhouette over the postal bag, but it's your art and you made it unique. Seeing your hands so cold and hearing the wind, i was shivering too.
Yay, new Si video! What a great start to my day. 🌹💗
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡 Tell your friends!
Just in time for my morning tea! Love your vids💗
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡 Tell your friends!
This reminds me so much of my childhood in the 70s with my Dad, at Erith on the saltings, we'd spend all day bottle digging as we called it. Glorious days. Thank you.
Channeling Banksy in your art now Si? Very impressive 👍🍻

Si. Your artistic talent never ceases to astound me! You should display things in a gallery.x
Aw thanks Sal
Nelly is gorgeous. Lovely sleek coat, you must be feeding her well. 😊
(First )Been waiting on this. Need a little mud on a Sunday morning .
Lovely finds
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡 Tell your friends!
It's not a mudlarking episode if there's no cat in the round up. Love to Nellie.
I found Time Team about 5 years ago and now I'm a patreon for it! I have learned so much history from it that I never learned in school.
Brilliant!!!!
Okay...you’re not normal! You can’t do all those brilliant crafting and up cycling on your own. You have little elves helping you! I must say your upcycling and resin cups are a must in every mud lovers home! Brilliant as usual. And braving that wind 😱. Waiting for another mud face ad! 😘
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡 It's all me baby, MUUUUUD lol
I think youtube directed me to you because I had recently binged EVERY Time Team Episode. So grateful for that!
Ah wow! Glad to be in such fine company!
Oh my....the sea glass resin project turned out amazingly beautiful. Nice accent with the ever handsome Nelly.
Thanks !!
Nice job not cursing while trying to get your sea glass beakers out of the molds! 😆 Cool finds, as always, and great upcycles.
Thank you for pointing out Time Team. I love that show. So much history in England.
Absolutely brilliant!!! Sea glass. Upcycling. Beer and cats!!! Perfect video! Cheers si! 👍💕👍
Si, your upcycling ingenuity never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for your videos -mudlarking, hovercrafting, metal detecting - always interesting. And hi to Nelly from Bellamy and Sabrina
I watch Time Team all the time! I love learning about our past.
Great isn't it!
That is very cool, Si. Remember art is what you love not what someone else loves. But I do think it's cool. Those pieces of embossed glass would make amazing pendants and or earrings. I love the glasses.
Love the Post Office sack art!
Thanks Bianca !
I have allways wonted to do that you found some well nice bits brother 👍 all ways injoy catching your videos brother
I LOVE that you upcycle these bits of history.
Wow Simon, you are such a talented guy!!
I love when Nelson makes the cut.
Nelly is brilliant, great upcycling of glass, and wonderful discoveries!
Thank you! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Love Time Team ❤ Lots of Great Finds ...Love the Cobalt Blue Glass.
Wonderful ! Thanks for showing geological context. Better than a travel program
Wow, Simon how amazing are those sea glass glasses!!!!! Gorgeous! Your mind is so creative! If you can get a mold for bowls that would be super too!
UGH! I missed your robot on Ebay because I didn't factor in "Daylight Savings Time" this weekend. It should have gone for more! Love your art and your heart. Stay creative!
Thanks Lisa. I’ll hopefully make more, but takes time to find the perfect bits and pieces 👍🏻🐾🧡
My greetings, Your a real handy artist !!! I admiere you so mutsh.
I almost bailed on the video due to the wind noise, but glad I stayed to see the wonderful art works you created. Your imaginative use of bits and bobs is fantastic Simon!
Well that’s what you get (wind) when Mudlarking the estuary despite a Mic muff
The sea glass cups are beautiful. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing your artistic talents. Love your shows.
I’ve watched most of the Time Team. I live in Texas. Between watching you, time team, Northern Mudlarks and Nicola I’ve learned a lot about England, and the surrounding countries.
The sea glass all along the shore is beautiful. I absolutely love Time Team. Restoration Home is fantastic also.
Si, those glasses were amazing! Great video. Nic's got her 100K subs. Come on mate, you're next!!
Yep, tell your friends!
The Seaglass Glasses were bEaUtIfUl!
Very kool Si! I love the post office bag. The queen is pure genius. I am never disappointed with your creations.
Aw thanks Cheryl
Looooooove Time Team! Mick, Phil, Tony, and Gang!
Phil is the best! Tony sucks coz he hates Detectorists
NICE! WORTH the waiting
This American came across Time Team (on YT) while recuperating from an accident, and I fell in love! Then YT suggested Nicola White and Si-finds mudlarking channels and I fell in love again! I had NO idea of the existence of mudlarking and it is fascinating - especially since you, Nicola and some of the others take the time to share your knowledge or explore and learn about the item. All the best, West Virginia.
Welcome to the wonderful world that is Mudlarking!!
Those sea glass glasses are gorgeous!
The bubbles in the glass pieces look really good in the cups. I guess it doesn’t matter if the sea glass is frosted cause that doesn’t show up but the bubbles in the glass makes it interesting.
These glasses came out gorgeous after you cut the tops off. All the bottles are beautiful really
