So beautiful. I can't believe what I heard was made with those machines. I think I will throw out my computer and return to basics. Thank you. You just gave me a new passion.
i got the entry level NiftyCase which came with 2 modules all under 300 bucks. i didn't realize it til later that it re-introduced me to the basics: the oscillators, waveforms, lfos. given the basics, i learned about finding sweet spots. what an amazing feeling. feels like a rebirth. i still don't know.... but it's beautiful just like this piece from Swatrick Payze. that is ONE HUGE BEAUTIFUL SWEET SPOT. very beautiful and heavenly. can't even express in words... thank *YOU* Swatrick. and thank *YOU* moog.
Hey fellow Moog owner this is great work. That M32 and the DFAM sound just amazing. They really are fantastic semi-modular synths. Really enjoyed your vid.
I just got these two beasts and was looking for a nice inspiration, this is so beautiful done ♥ mesmerizing and hypnotic and so delicate. Amazing job man
Really nice stuff. I have a dfam as well and it's nice to hear someone with a totally different vision from myself use one. I have thus far made only a sort of raw techno with it.
The most musical and intrigueing video I have seen using just Dfam and M32. I would like to know how you harmonised chords with a mono Mother 32?. ..please??? Most beautiful performance with electronic instruments. I have the Mother 32 and Subharmonicon so now I am saving for the dfam. Thank you.
Sam Levine Hey Sam! Thanks man... When i try to arrange my music in a daw it feels kind of cold to me. I love to express myself on the fly and go with it. Unfortunately i only have two hands 😀 So i i overdubbed the chords with my deepmind 12, but also in one take. Cheers, i hope i can add more stuff soon :-)
The best I have seen. Such sensitivity and grace. I have a Crave and am about to add either a Subharmonicon or DFAM. Which way do you think I should go? I was thinking Subharmonicon until I saw this. Eventually i will have both so its which to get first.
Hey there, it‘s been a while but here are some notes: the dfam was running a pre tuned melody. i tuned every knob to the scale of the mother. the dfam is running freely. i matched the tempo by ear. both synths are going into my daw and have been treated with some post fx (soundtoys echoboy and valhalla vintage verb) the dfam vco is also going into the mother ext in and is added in the mix here and there. hope that was helpful. enjoy your synths!! ;-)
I would love a little more details on the patch. I have been using the advance clock to sync. you are using VCO to mix to external audio. please explain more,. great jam.
manvscivilization Hey hey, it‘s been a while. Looks like i patched both VCOS from the DFAM to my Mother Mixer Inputs and the Mix out to my Ext. Input. With this patch i‘m able to play the dfam through my mother‘s filter and envelope generator on top of my dfam out. The melody of the dfam is preprogrammed via the pitch knobs. The clocks of both modules are free running and synched by ear 😉. I hope that was helpful. At 10.000 clicks i‘ll make another video with my extended system 😅
@@swatrick_payze I gave you my like from heart :-) and meanwhile there a much more than 10.000 clicks. Is there a chance you'll show some more making of?
So did you prerecord the melody or something? I want one to branch out from just using the ole midi controller but these things look so complicated haha.
@@MrJackal43 my guess the Moog one is digital to you. Realize there are analog instruments that have a save feature. For example, the DSI Rev 2, Moog one, etc, wise up first before texting.
100th comment. Two minutes in and its so good. I need a mother for my dfam.
Amazing, I’m in awe at how you managed to get such beautiful music to come out of these two tiny units. Masterful!

Been thinking about getting this combo and watching a few UA-cam vids to make up my mind. This is the best I’ve seen so far 👍
This is one of the most inspiring synth videos i've seen in a while. beautifully done.
Just gorgeous. Beautiful work.
thank *YOU* i think this is the best piece i've heard from this pair. sooo cinematic. can't even express in words the feeling...
I want to make the movie to this score.

May I ask what effects were you using here in this session (if any)? thanks!
@@RandomNoiseMusic hey there! thank you so much! I think I was using Valhalla Vintageverbe and Soundtoys Echoboy in a fixed setting
Amazing brother. Very beautiful and space ❤
Absolutely beautiful. I’d buy this album.
This gives me chills and I plan on buying this combo because of you.
This is so beautiful. I'd love to see and hear more from you.

This is incredible. Way to go! Keep it up!
Utter beauty... wow!!! Makes me second guess opting out getting the Mavis instead of the Mother 32...
❤ just great ! Well done sir!
Super cool stuff!! Keep it up. Will be watching out for any new content coming from you.
You’ve got to do more, man. This is legit and inspiring. I bought these two yesterday. As others in here said, because of your amazing work here. 👊

You’re next in succession to Bit Meddler and Ill Cosby. This a stunning piece of music, really nice harmonic and effect development. 🐝
Hey Thomas, thank you so much for your kind words. You guys let me keep it up. I hope i‘ll come up with something new this week. Cheers!
Gorgeous
Woooooow! This is absolute beauty!
Videos like this just make me want to impulse buy a DFAM. Love my Mother32 but it would just add so much
A stranger whispers ”do it” silently from afar
This is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I have no choice but to sub. Please keep it up!!!
great job dude!
This is fantastic! Nice work.
This is gorgeous
Nice mate.. only getting my head around the Mother-32... love the DFAM already so had to get its partner ;)
It's just good as it is 🎹🎼
This is great!!!
This is gorgeous. Love hearing some synthesizer music that isnt just a bunch of events on a grid.
Did you add the chords afterwards then?

Are you on patreon? Good expression. Love it! Thanx 4 sharing with us... ND
This… is something really hot from UA-cam!
Really, really good man!
wow!!!😍😍😍
I enjoyed that.
just wondering how many didn´t pick up on the fact that the deepmind is playing chords.
Would love to see it aswell. Great stuff.
How Do synchronize the Mother 32 with the DFAM?
this is the chord progression and melody from dimitri vegas & like mike in tomorrowland 2013 mainstage min 48
Crying right now , thanks :0
Love this
Can you describe how you did this? I have a Mother 32 + DFAM too but I cannot figure out how you did this?

Super nice.
Bravo 👏
any chance you offer lessons?
What is the DFAM doing?
are those synth sounds coming from the mother 32? or dfam?
Any chance we could see the patch for this? Been trying to find a sound like this.
Are the cord sounds from the Moog with a keyboard or a different synth all together? Amazing by the way. looking at picking this gear up soon.😁😁😁😁😁
He wrote in the description. Chords are from a deepmind 12.

Whole Life Crisis 😅 Thank you!!
Are you a friend of Com Truise?
At least i like his music 🔥
Awesome

He played the chords later on a DeepMind 12. The DFAM and M32 are not polyphonic.
❤️❤️❤️
duude! epic sound, i thought i know my dfam well but how the fuck did u get that extreme nice noice sound at 5:13 out of it?? never heard it before!
The problem is, you can't save what you just did unless you record it live. There needs to be a PC compatible version that can save all your inputs.
crazzylee I think that‘s the magic of playing a semimodular or modular synth. It‘s about improvisation. Capturing a moment and stick to it. :-)
Swatrick Payze I get that. With that being said I still think it should like a moog one.
That’s because these are Moog instruments not “digital groove boxes.” Go backs to your laptop boi.
@@MrJackal43 my guess the Moog one is digital to you. Realize there are analog instruments that have a save feature. For example, the DSI Rev 2, Moog one, etc, wise up first before texting.
HEY EVERYONE LOOK, IT'S SWATRICK PAYZE AND REVEEN!
Sadly all i see is your right arm ... nice sounds though. I was wondering where the chords came from and saw your info later.
WOW
Hey buddy, can you play on my funeral? But don't worry, it will take some time yet :))
