This is how it really went down for anyone curious:

Me: okay here are [10 absurd ideas]
Tim: I like all of those. Can we do [insert 5 more absurd ideas] too?
Me: Yep. But will the label will be okay with this?

Me: But like, for real tho, we can do this?...
Tim: Yep. Oh, also you'll unfortunately only have 1 week to edit cuz we have to launch it with the tour!

*shoot goes great. band is hilarious. some of the improv they did was so funny they had the entire crew crying.
*post prod vfx was most terrible thing ever. 3 people working 17 hrs a day for a week straight. fun fact my dog almost destroyed a 20 hour VFX render by unplugging a power cord. We had 6 minutes worth of jokes, gags, shots etc. that we couldn't fit in. So much funny stuff that will be hidden forever.
*10/10 would 420 no scope blaze it again.

Means it's his world we are operating in. That is the heaven of vices. That's all earth is fulfillment of desires in today's society.

As for what this video clip means (if anything) i didn't read a lot into it. I guess it mostly evokes memories of that episode of rick and morty where morty freaks out cause summer offers him a lap dance. I keep watching Tim around all these sexy dancers and thinking to myself "man... Morty is an idiot, id have smashed his sister no questions asked".
I think its a cool video in the sense that it strikes me as fairly hedonistic and im all about that lifestyle, but I'd be lying if I said I thought it had a deeper statement to make beneath the most obvious ones. I think its all too easy to infer meaning within media that was never intended to be conveyed, and the extent to which controversial imagery is used almost to a point of oversaturation in the clip makes me just take it as picture for pictures sake. And when I think about what I've seen of Tim, that strikes me as the sort of thing he'd do - commission an OTT video clip to give the "internet experts" something to chew on while he sits back and laughs at all the random stuff people pull out of their butts 😂
So idk. Im probably not the best person to answer that. I mean sure, I could concoct some convoluted set of generic themes and motifs that loosely fit what we see and adamantly claim that "this is what it means" but that ain't my style.
If anything, the only underlying theme I take away from watching this is like... "free, consensual love is the best kind of love" and im totally ok with that mantra 👌

Lokidooki not even close to true. The beats written while they compose the structure and melody, clay writes the drum parts last. He said it took over 6 days in studio to write the drums for Rich Kids
@@nostalgiajunkie they could have written drum parts differently for different songs, but Tim did say he sent goat to 6 different producers for beats and picked the best one. If you look at the writing credits for the album, it goes: Tim, the producers, then the rest of the band (with clay at the bottom).

They really created a style of their own. It’s complicated music that regular people can listen to. I can’t think of any technical music that appeals to ur average person usually the technical music only appeals to musicians but these guys really created something super special
