The rhythm section sounds better than it ever has. They're holding shit DOWN.
It's the best
Dude that bass is making some wet juicy farts! I love it
Hey!! I didn't see you there XD
when it comes to instrumentalists, you had better have a good bass player . This band does. Great bass!
This drummer is badass. He’s basically playing rap beats but on real drums. And it sounds so clean you could almost mistake it for a computer.
Hes playing trap a beat lol there's different types of rap lmao
@@edafr calm down bitch

@@edafr what's trap? Can you define it?
@@Senpaiaproves Rap song between around 115 to 150 BPM that uses hi hat triplet rhythms and usually some 808s and autotune.
The drum buildup from 3:27 to 3:42 is so perfectly written
Yeah your right
They’re ALL percfectly written lol. Clay is a master on the drums!!
I always loved the way the solo came back in with the staccato 64th notes... just now realizing 3 years later that it's entirely the groove from the drums carrying that super simple guitar pattern
This proves you can mix metal with everything and make it 10x sexier
this isnt metal though, or anything very close. Like i get it "hurr hurr not trve metal go away casuals" but, it's really not. Only thing about this song in particular that's even close is JR's solo.
@@3AwesomeLetsPlayers I assumed he was talking about JRs solo. But your right
True!!
I was talking about mixing trap music and progressive metal.
This is more of a chon + trap mix than a progmetal + trap mix...
Man their sound is becoming more original if that’s possible.
that is what they want you to think
who are they stealing from then?
If that's possible? Most of their output is such generic instrumental metal. But I'll agree this is certainly more unique.
Ya their old stuff was really generic, cool ideas, but everything was so bland. This new album however is everything they should've done. It's honestly insane

@@beast3oy360 don't know wtf you're talking about but the drums are very good. Sure they've mixed in some electronic stuff but live it sounds incredible.
@levi Curry the drums are from a real drum set tho.

S1 R3C0RDS that shred of his was epic dudeeeee. I used to always skip this song because it took a while to get started until like 2 weeks ago i let it play the whole and i was like whut tf did i just witness!!! Fckn badass
imho richardson's solo sucks. just a generic super distorted (tone is pure shit) extreme power/neoclassical shred-solo that ruins such an original and particular song.
@@francescom2027 Are you kidding me? the fact that he was still able to make a riff... Which is meant to sound insane, STILL chill... is what was badass...
@@joshuamachado6278 i don't know, i dont't feel the insanity and i don't feel the chill, i just feel an uninspired and too distorted shred metal solo, alexi laiho may have done that and it doesn't fit the genius song that goes from 0:00 to 2:45
@@francescom2027 I agree with you mostly. The song up until then was very original but the solo sounded like more Joe Satriani type stuff just like Polyphia's earlier stuff. Not that that sound is bad, and I have mad respect for Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, but... I've heard enough of that.
I crave variety to a fault so anytime I witness or hear something that I utterly have not been exposed to before, that right there is priceless.
This disc is amazing. Jason’s solo on this track especially @ 3:38 is unreal.
Jason's solo is absolutely unfrickin believable in this, especially at 3:40
