The crazy thing really is that Christoph is just as good as Manu, at least regarding technical skill. It's admirable how he happily gives the rest of the gang the space to shine while casually ripping through all their songs (even live). Truly a god in his own right. 🙏🏻
@@kapitaenkantine Scottie is very similar in Polyphia. He's every bit as good as Tim, though certainly more self-taught (e.g. Tim was taught how to thump "properly" by Tosin but Scottie just straight up figured out how to get an identical sound with a different technique on his own). He doesn't seem to mind frequently being the "rhythm" guitarist playing down an octave or pausing when Tim does a really tasty run in a riff (e.g. GOAT) to make sure that it doesn't muddy the sound. He doesn't seem to mind generally letting Tim be the "face" of the band even though the actual songwriting, by their own admission, is fairly close to 50/50. Tim definitely has a better sensibility for writing hooks and Scottie for solos, but they both write incredible verses and harmonies. They just released a live show from Deep Ellum, and the production on it is pretty good. Damn, Scott has really been killing it with his guitar solos as of late.
Phenomenal ❤
This album is their best yet by far. The guitar work is just amazing. The drumming is on point. The ambience is beautiful when it needs to be. And Manuel's vocals holy shit, he has improved so fkin much. No much more to say, just that since it release a few hours ago, i have it on repeat over and over again, so excited to see them live.
This is already the top song on my Spotify Wrapped for 2024.
levys vocal part went so hard need to hear him more
crazy good!
this album gonna go crazy
Tim’s entrance was everything I needed. This project is INSANE
Gotta be one of the sickest tracks ive heard in a long while
DAMN SCOTT SOLO WAS A BANGER!! He defintely needs to release more solo stuff, he is so underrated
That intro with the vocals is beauty.
The band says this track showcases a more darker and sinister side of Unprocessed. I think this is about existing unfettered, not being held down to any structured beliefs or prophetized way of thinking.
jesus buddy .. scott's solo is relentlessly gorgeous
this will be definitely played at my funeral
Amen Brother.
Thank you Scott and Tim
man i wanna hear manuel talk more about his vocals he's got such a good voice its ridiculous
Yes! Needed this collab!
I swear, if the whole of Polyphia collabs with Unprocessed on a future metal track? The world'll explode, it'll be be a track of ungodly proportions.
glad we are all on the same page with Scottie on this one, dude absolutely murdered it.
