Awesome Idea! 2 of those would look great on my alter! I started smithing a year ago and when I get a bit better I want to try and make these. Thanks for recording the process, great work!
I really enjoyed this video! I feel transported back in time. Imagining the village smith forging a number of these at the same time, just before raiding season! Though, I think usage as a candle holder is a little more family friendly than the traditional usage for hunting and warfare!
As the saying goes: “Hands, not machines”. I believe there is a place in this world for power tools. But I also believe many people have lost connection with the art of working with their hands. Myself included. People like Lufolk and others are great at displaying a love for working with their hands, all the while using power tools (power hammer etc) when it is needed! Do you do any craft work or trade work? :)
Great idea! I haven’t started any smithing work yet, but when I eventually do, I must attempt one of these, though I may end up purchasing a couple from @lufolk before then! The more the merrier.
A really great idea. I will try to do it without a power hammer. Thank you for inspiration.
Thanks! Awesome!
Perfect

Respect for the work with the knife. I would have resorted to power tools from the start.
Thank you!

Awesome work. I've been wanting to attempt a spear/javelin head for a bit. Now I don't need a haft to use one! 😁
