Awesome example of finesse and gentleness in the rough and rigorous world of blacksmithing. Another fine job my friend 👏 👍
Thanks James!
Thank you Torbjorn (sorry - don’t know how to get those special characters). Your videos are such a pleasure to watch. I’d like to see more. Your approach is so methodical and exact. And your videos are expertly produced. Your pride and attention to detail is evident.
Thank you Jay!
It's a masterpiece, like a musical letter thanks
Jay, for Å you press the ALT key and type 0197 on the numberfield, for ö it is the ALT key and 0246. Usinf that might be considered a minute return in meticulousness for all the effort Torbjörn offers to us.
You are a true renaissance man. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
No matter how many of your videos that I watch you absolutely entertain and astonish me with your touch with the hammer and your talent.

Tobjörn I just love your work. Thank you for sharing this with us.
You are not only a great blacksmith but also a very good videographer.
The segments of your gardening is always so pleasant too.

@@torbjornahman 😉❤
The amazing Thunder Bear, swinging his hammer like a little cub bear in this one. Beautiful as always sir!
your detail work with the hammer is incredible
Ah, my Torbjorn fix. Nice work nicely done. Thank you.
It's not only the undoubtedly high level of skills and robotic precision..it's the way you manage to bring peace in my mind through all of your videos! Thank you so much!
Great work as always - I've been forging for a few months, and the more I learn the better these videos get. The brazing with the brass strips was really cool.
The wire wrap, too.
Great!
Well done again. How you take such big tools and make such delicate things is beyond me.
Good to have you back! Great work!
The wrap on the handle is a beautiful touch.
Was just thinking the wrapped wire collar is something new... I like that look.
Some people come into this world and make it more beautiful. Well done as always.
Glad to see you back to posting. I always enjoy your clips!
The return of the king of blacksmiths
The epitome of forging finesse and not so simple to achieve, elegance. Loved the forge brazing, wire wrap, making the rivets and the outstanding videography...truly inspiring Torbjorn!! Hat Tip, ~PJ
Thank you PJ! I get spoiled with your kind words :)
The piano makes it even more beautiful... Superb work!
You have filled your life with beautiful objects, and you continue to do so. Know that my jealousy comes from a place of love, and thank you for continuing to make these videos.
I got to say you don't make tools there ( WORK OF ART ) love watching you do your trade. You are gifted. Keep it up and going please 🙏
.... a fabulous item for an old castle)))))
Very beautiful. Now my wife wants one. I will have to stay busy at the forge again this weekend;) stay safe. Awesome video!!;
:) Sorry I ruined your weekend in the sofa watching the winter olympics.
Super smooth edits on the squaring of the rod, and the brazing was amazing. I don’t think I’ve seen forge brazing before.
Thanks !
Hi Torbjörn, from your hands even a humble object like a candle snuffer becomes a work of art.
man I love your videos. such a nice work you've done! the candle snuffer looks fancy and seems it could survive a nuclear catastrophe
:) Thank you Nicolas!
Beautiful and again - Totally Åwesome!
:)
You sir, a true artist as well as a great family man. God bless you and your family. Russ Pennsylvania USA
Simple, elegant, functional. Awesome!
Workmanship is awesome..⚒️⚒️
Torjbjorn could make a video telling us how you got into blacksmithing in the first place and how you started out?? Would be very interesting to hear that
Love your work!
Here is a short version - www.torbjornahman.se/about
Torbjorn, the only man that could give Hephaestus a run for his money. 😊
Hurrah!!! Another video. The way you managed to make it match up to the drawing on the anvil is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing the process.👍👍👍😊😊.
The most elegant and useful work as always. Pleasure to watch.
Excellent work 👍👍👍 . Thanks for sharing
Been watching for a couple of years and I believe you are one of the finest blacksmiths on UA-cam. Are you self taught or you go through an apprenticeship ... anyway your videos are awesome and very well done. Please keep them coming it's well received in this crazy world we find ourselves in now
Thanks, yes I'm mostly self taught if you can call it that... with the information available today to everyone!?
Wow ...you sir have a great gift of being able to go from thought to drawing on paper or the anvil then creating in metal. I wish I had been exposed to smithing or woodworking when I was younger...it's beautiful, satisfying work...please keep the videos coming you have a worldwide following!!
There is something very, very satifying about this job Torbjorn,
I can't put my mind on why...
I can't put words to it...
But it almost brought tears to my eyes.
Superb.
Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it!
It’s marvellous. You have Gold ni your hand. Bravo !!! Continue to amaze us.
Thank you
My all-time favorite UA-cam channel..👍👍👍
An excellent video in all ways. Thank you.
Köszönöm ,hogy megnyitotta 2022. évet, ezzel a remek munkával.
Ismét készített valami szépet, ami nem usb, nem wifi , hanem kézi munka! Mintha a nagyapám
örökségéből került volna elő!
Távol vagyunk egymástól, de a mühelyben érzem magam amikor dolgozik!
Thank you again for letting us watch you make another wonderful piece!
Beautiful as always, you are a craftsman of the highest magnitude.
Been watching for you daily, thank you.
Wow, thank you
@@torbjornahman It is always fascinating to watch, the slightest hammer strikes, tying bailing wire like it’s twine. It’s me who needs to say WOW!!
The good lord has blessed you my friend and you’re humbleness shows your respect .
Torbjörn has taught me that discipline is the way to mastership
My friend, you are always creative with all your beautiful works
Another great illustration of how taking the time to do all the little details right produces a result which reflects the smith's skill. Thanks for the reminder!
Glad to see your back!!
I think it's safe to say well watch you make anything at this stage 👍 amazing job as always!
I don’t say this lightly, your channel literally is like a tranquil place I can visit and have all the stress of the day just melt away. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this beautiful craft with us. Warm regards to you and your family. Robert in Alabama.
Thank you Robert!
Great work, there are many details that you pay attention to. Continue like that
Very nice job . Pretty cool to see you pulling stuff out of the buckets . Black bear forge had a thing with scrap bits from a bucket ( his bucket was pretty bad as well ) nice to see the fine art work making in to useful things .
Finally a wire wrap collar demo video thank you very much, just not enough on UA-cam to learn from
Great work - simple and elegant.
As always, subtle design and perfect workmanship.
Simple, decorative, functional...what more could one ask? Nice.
Well done,I like the wire wrap detail
I throughly enjoyed this one.
I wish you and your family all the best 2022 Thunder Bear 🐻
Thanks and the same to you!
Another nice tool you made bro, i like it. Thanks Torbjorn and God bless endlessly.
С уважением Вашему мастерству. Все Ваши видео смотрю на одном дыхании. Мастерство, изящество, чувство прекрасного. Все в одном. Удачи Вам. Делайте больше видео. Они нужны нам, Вашим зрителям.
Thank you!
Very soothing to watch someone else work... Why is that? Excellent candle snuffer...
Thanks
Love the sticker cabinet door. I have a mini fridge full full of stickers
I like this, everyone seems like they are doing knives and the like, this is what a blacksmith did as his bread and butter, make things for the locals, awesome to see
In all my time working with brass and copper and using silver solder did it occur to me that you could use brass and copper as solder for things with even higher melting points. This is fantastic. Thank you for the unintentional lesson today!
Again a very good video, and a new work of art created.
It is alomost anoing to see how you "just" sketch someting on the anvil, and then form a piece of steel to exactly match it.
Also I sit and wonder "how is he going to close up the cone, is going to weld or..."
And again "how is he going to fix the handle to the cone, welding, soldering or...."
Absolutely a pleasure to watch Torbjørn.
:) Thank you Björn!
Cool project, I really like the small tool builds. Use of different anvil attachments.
Cool, thanks!
The whole video was mesmerizing, but specially at 6:45 where making that curved tip was just SO damn pleasing to watch. The gentle and methodical hits, the timing, the perfect camera angle/lighting and offcourse the result... was simply perfect! Thanks for another beautiful video Torbjorn!
Fantastic to hear! Thanks
Excellent piece especially at the end with the wire wrap
What a beautiful nice piece of craftsmanship.
That candle snuffer is really nice!
I love its simple and beauiful design. 🙂
Have a nice evening!
Such a graceful and relaxing video to watch , Not to forget the incredible craftsmanship of a true Master . :)
Thank you!
Excellent work God bless you and your family!
Excellent choice of a "simple" candle snuffer to quickly illustrate many techniques. Nice video.
Amazing work my friend. Simply stunning.
Another great video. Great editing, great music. Love the build. Well done.
Du är bland det bästa youtube har att erbjuda. 👍👍👍 Tack Torbjörn
Åh, tack Magnus!
Your artwork has no bounds. Thank you for sharing!
Väldigt fint arbete som alltid! Nu blev jag sugen på att försöka göra en själv!
Trevligt! Lycka till
sir i watch your videos with great interest. and there is always something new to learn
Glad to hear that!
Once again your work has made my day! Thanks for sharing… even a simple thing like this sis really appreciated..
Thank you so much 😀
Very nice seeing you use slightly different methods on this one Torbjorn, brazing instead of forge welding, and copper rivets instead of steel. Also your control of a hammer really is legendary, goes to show sometimes its better to do lots of small hammer strokes rather than great big heaving blows, really cool project. Im always amazed how you overlay your parts over the sketches and theyre exactly perfect haha. Thanks mate :)
Thanks Sam!
The American artist and boatbuilder Bob Emser, who is currently building his own sailboat on his YT channel The Art of Boat Building, wraps up every instalment with the words "when you make something, make it beautiful". That quote could be yours, Thorbjörn!
Sounds good in my ears! :) :)
Another great video from you - I enjoyed watching you at work. Thank you for your time!
Your plier-on-wire technique filmed @ ~12:40+ is way helpful. Thanks!
Beautiful work Torbjörn.
Imagine your grandchildren finding this strange hand made item decades in the future. They can find this video (and my comment) to see the care and craftsmanship that was put into the heirloom they hold. Very interesting!
Love your videos man they made me feel relaxed after a stressed day
Great! Thanks
Чарівно ! Весь час дивився з посмішкою !
It looks great Torbjorn and you did a wonderful job making it as well!!!!
Enjoyed the video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Da de fiecare dată aceeași calitate si indemânare ,adevarat maiestru multumesc mult ptr , ca ne face ti partași la spectacolul fiecarei creatii! Multa prosperitate !
Sentivo già la mancanza di un tuo video, praticamente ero in "astinenza"! È sempre bello vederti all'opera. Complimenti! 👍👍👍
Very nice use of materials! You lost me for a moment on the second scroll. I will make one as I typically do. My first impression was memory of the Christmas Gnomes. The pointy hat? I have no idea how many sets I made - along with the candle tray - for my family members. Very creative brother Torbjörn!
:) :) Thanks again!
So awesome I am speechless!! Bravo!
It is very therapeutic watching you work !
You made this look so easy, I could fool myself into thinking I could make one tomorrow and I've never forged so much as a sharp stick.
Very cool. It sure beats blowing on the candle and having wax blow everywhere.
I love the little hook you used to keep the wire "clamp" from riding up the cone when you twisted it tight (2:50). Another technique of yours that I've filed away.
it's amazing how something so simple can be so pleasant and relaxing to watch. i really do look forward to any video you make.
As always, beautiful work
That cone and the proportions on the curled finial are perfect.
I love making candle snuffers - I want to give this style a try. Great piece!!
