I watched Bob on tone talk twice. What a groovy story of how he started. He’s doing his own thing in his own time and being successful
All of us regular guys who spend our working lives working for someone else benefit when a man does that.
Keep on keeping on Bob 🤘🏼
It's so nice to see you back bob. The best!!! A true legend!!!
Thank you Bob for your genius and your contributions to the guitar world! Some of the greatest guitar tones in the world have your hand in it! Times change and technology does as well but you will always be a valid asset....I always wish that I could have afforded a Bradshaw rig ...the epitome of rig designers!
The legendary Bob Bradshaw, the man , the myth, the legend. He's designed many ,many, many, guitar rigs. If I had the money I would have him design me a rig too. Stay safe 👍👏😷😷
That was GREAT! Thanks for posting this Bob! Would be great to see more videos like this for other clients! :)
That was great! Thanks, more rigs please🇨🇦
Nice one Bob, looking great Sir, magic to see your still doing what you do best, be safe : Studs
So much more equipment than a million years ago in 1981 when Joe was broke doing the Perry Project. I was friends with his guitar-tech Stan and at Toads Place in the middle of a song it just stopped, Joe says “my amps not working!” - he was mad but heard it wasn’t anyones fault.
Bob is the man!
Bob knows stuff !!!
Cool charvel always cool to see floyds without locking nuts
Good interesting video Bob
This is all great and the rig is fantastic, however, I personally have never heard Joe use half of these effects in any live videos to date 🤷🏻♂️
Kinda my thought as well…
Perhaps that's the fun.
You're still the King Bob!
Now that’s a rig!
Bob! The very best!
Bob Bradshaw knows his stuff
Nice system, high quality stuff. Great job Bob! The Perry studio reverb request thing cracks me up. When the band kicks in I can’t help but think it won’t matter if the reverb is studio-quality or a spring reverb from a Fender Deluxe Reverb. 🤔
Oh it makes a big difference in what *you* described, but if you had to choose between the Bricasti and a Poly Beebo (running FULL wet/dry/wet), the difference wouldn't be significant. I run wet/dry/wet with a couple of small PA speakers and my amp slaving into a power amp sim/speaker sim from Mooer, then into simply a flashback and Digitech Polara parallel in stereo. Sounds utterly incredible.
Dam that's nice
Interesting!
I've close up checked out and played through this rig. It's a whole lotta buncha rig. It's not for "purists" but I get what he's going for here. It's pretty kickass walking around in front of it with the 60 LP. Lots of Trace Davis amp magic going on here.
Wicked cool . I dont even know how he heres himself on stage . I saw him at mgm massachusetts & he basically serenaded in my face ( that sounded sorta.... ) & he was in point filthy sext dirty guitar thats gotten better with age. I would love to see joe & Joe perry project with charlie joe pett at the cape cod melody tent. .i think his guitar may burn the tent down
Is Joe using that Marshall Origin on stage now?
For a man of your experience and knowledge your delivery ,um's and ammmmm's are really hard to take!!!
What is the mikepre? And delay unit?
The delay is clearly an Eventide Timefactor.
The mic preamp is an API 3124 MV.
He got the combination of API preamp [$3,000] and Bricasti M7 [$4,000] from John Mayer.
Mayer then runs the reverb into a pair [$18,000] of ATC SCM100ASL Pro 12" powered studio monitors.
If you've got it, flaunt it.
Is that a Marshall Origin?
I think he’s designing in his head while he’s doing this interview, nevertheless he knows his stuff I just would say Joe Perry is in good hands with this Tech Guy
"This tech guy" is the legendary Bob Bradshaw, designing famous rigs since the 80s. You might have heard of a "bradshaw system".
Yeah, he and Brad were using Bob's stuff back in the days of Permanent Vacation/ Pump.
he should have an operation for his contracted pinkie finger
The Bricasti M7 is $4k, it is consistently out performed by the Behringer Virtualizer 3D FX2000 that can be had for $160.00.
"consistently outperformed" LMFAO
hahahahahahaha. hahahahahaha. Let me guess. You also think that your CRAPIPHONE Les Paul is better than a Custom Shop USA Les Paul, right?
Flat Earth is way better acoustically for reverbs. Bricasti is just compensating digitally this imperfection of the round earth.
@fastguitar Dave murray from iron maiden said that his squier guitar sounds better live than his fenders so uts a matter if taste anyway
When money is no object ........studio quality reverb for live performances ..............LOL
This is nuts. In this day and age you can do the exact same thing and more with a Fractal. No one would be able to tell the difference.
Don't think so. And I bet Joe has given it a try. It's also about the feel. I just saw a vid from a band where the band had gone back to real amps. It was more of a challenge with levels and mics, but I'm betting they got something back.
Thanks for sharing! If you have a minute, we recorded a cover of Van Halen. As fellow music lovers, we'd love if you'd check it out. It's on our page. Don't be too tough on us :)
Bad rig rundown. They are usually good. This is like Mr. Rogers on Nyquil.
No disrespect but Joe is so dirty sounding I’m surprised at what he’s asking for. Very interesting nonetheless.
Dang Joe … is all that really necessary?
its what you need to cover your bad playing
